Building a Business Empire with my Technological System

Chapter 144: Contacting the Architect
[New Mission Unlocked!]

Michael was interrupted by the rhythmic chime of the technological system notification. A holographic interface pops up with a text that reads.

[Build your own Office: Your operations are being held in the building that you leased, paying exorbitant rents each month. It’s time to establish a permanent base for SolaraTech Corporation and its enterprise. Commission a building that will serve as the main office and innovation hub for your company.

This will not only save on rental costs but also symbolize the growth and stability of your business empire. Your task is to find a location, design the building, and oversee its construction within the next 12 months.]

[Rewards: 100,000 System Points]

Reading that, Michael just had another mission added to his ongoing mission, one of which is dominating the market, which at this point, is not yet completed because the criteria for finishing it were not established. Was it to topple CinkoSolar or to achieve a certain market share?

That was unclear, but now his focus was drawn to this new, tangible goal, something that is definitive, and a mission that he needed to complete because he is not earning system points by reading books and publishing articles.

He grabbed his phone and then contacted Juliet.

”Juliet, come over to my office, stat,” Michael said firmly, hanging up the phone without waiting for a reply.

e leaned back in his chair, his mind racing through the details of the new mission. He knew Juliet’s efficiency and professionalism would be crucial in planning and executing the project.

Minutes later, there was a knock at the door. Michael straightened up, his attention shifting to the present.

”Come in,” he called.

The door opened, and Juliet stepped into the room, her expression composed and businesslike.

”Mr. Reyes, you asked to see me?” she inquired professionally, closing the door behind her and standing before his desk, ready to discuss the matter at hand.

”Juliet, I need an update about this particular thing I asked you, contacting this architect from China who built the Golden Topper, a skyscraper that will dominate the center of the BGC?”

”Ah...yes...I remember about it, why bring that up now sir?”

Best regards,

Juliet

After proofreading the email, Juliet hit the send button. She leaned back in her chair, satisfied with her morning’s work, and awaited Brian Chow’s response.

Juliet then shifted her focus to other tasks that demanded her attention, periodically checking her inbox for a response. Three hours later, her computer pinged with a new email notification. It was from Brian Chow.

Opening the email, Juliet found that Brian expressed keen interest in the project.

Subject: Re: Commission for New SolaraTech Corporation Headquarters

Dear Juliet Schmidt,

Thank you for reaching out and for considering me for such an exciting project. I am very much interested in discussing the possibility of designing the new headquarters for SolaraTech Corporation. The vision you’ve outlined aligns well with my architectural philosophy and the kind of innovative and sustainable projects I am passionate about.

I am available for a meeting next week to delve deeper into your requirements and to see how we can align our visions to create something outstanding for SolaraTech. Please let me know what time suits Mr. Reyes and yourself, and I will make the necessary arrangements.

Looking forward to our collaboration and to creating an architectural piece that not only serves as a functional office space but also as an emblem of SolaraTech’s innovative spirit.

Best regards,

Brian Chow]

Reading that message, Juliet knew she was one step closer to finishing one of her jobs as a Chief of Staff for Michael Reyes.
