Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 361: Hollow Spatial Burst, Void Resonance

Cyberterra Base, Special Star Throne Vessel Control Hall.

”Star Throne activating. Star King, the vessel is phasing into the spatial layer in three, two, one.”

”Connection Secured.”

”Now, we observe and wait.”

ʼSo the war started, eh?ʼ Star King blinked within a neon live bio-metal chamber, his face slightly resembling that of Neo Elvergarde.

Looking at at the Psylocke monitor observing the surrounding material world through the spatial layer, he only darkness.

[Star King requesting monitor into the formation area of the enemy.]

ʼHurry up. I canʼt see anything.ʼ

”Cyberzone Eye detaching within the formation area and activating in three seconds, Star King.”

ʼWoah, thatʼs a lot of Mythical-rank items.ʼ

ʼSo thatʼs the Arcane Champion of Earth.ʼ

ʼDamn, he killed that dark elf emperor a second time so soon?ʼ

ʼWhatʼs wrong with this enemy? They disappear right when they are about to die and return. But I guess that dudeʼs two lives were gone. He isnʼt coming back anymore with those body parts burning away.ʼ

ʼCrap, it looks like this Almond is more powerful than Dad expected. A tough nut to crack, hahahahaha.ʼ

ʼWait, shit…our people are dying more. What is that crazy demonic bitch throwing around potions?ʼ

ʼAnd the last sneaky attempt also failed because of that six-handed demon…Why are they so powerful? This isnʼt going as good as we expected.ʼ

ʼYeah, we are actually losing this.ʼ

ʼDad went all out, but only for two minutes. He will lose after that if he canʼt finish off Almond soon.ʼ

ʼIt looks like heʼll execute the plan B.ʼ

ʼWuff! Time to get started, folks! Dadʼs given the signal. Blast off the Earthʼs base!ʼ

[Star King activating the Hollow Spatial Burst.]

ʼLetʼs show them the pinnacle of magic and science!ʼ

”Coordination of the Burst is being acquired.”

”Coordinations acquired from the Supreme Commander.”

”Input the target area.”

”Spatial X 2.49, Spatial Y 2.64. Compression Beginning.”

”Hollow Spatial Burst, executing in ten seconds.”

…

ʼNO!ʼ Almondʼs pupils enlarged to the extreme as he sensed a sudden burst of space compression and a familiar sensation right above the Earthʼs base forty-eight kilometers away.

Whatever that was, Almond felt that it would destroy the base.

*Zaap!*

A spiraling vorpal laser shot at him along with a rain of bullets from above.

With his teleportation disruptive within this field, Almond was restricted.

Barely dodging by using a different type of spatial move skill heavily relied on his Spiral Edge intent, Almond dodged, his sword in his hand as he appeared beside Neo, slicing him.

ʼDie, already!ʼ Almondʼs bloodshot eyes indicated the urgency as he needed to prevent that threat.

But as if gaining the pace, Neo vanished like a light flickering, appearing ten meters away before shooting with his guns.

Left one glinted brightly as Almond was encased in a metal cage while the other one unleashed a bullet that struck the cage, which rang like a bell Almond saw a thumb-sized light appearing in the center right in front of his face, trembling violently briefly before exploding.

*BOOM!*

Almond exerted his full willpower as he negated the resistance and forcefully sliced the box into two along with that thumb-sized light.

ʼItʼs over, Almond.ʼ

Neoʼs voice rang in his head before Almond felt a burst of light overflooding his vision and senses.

Almond felt it as his heart suddenly silenced entirely.

ʼNo, I have to stop it!ʼ Almondʼs eyes broke through everything and reached the Earthʼs base, his whole being exerting control.

He saw a football-shaped black light with a bright sparkling dark silver stream inside it, right above the Earthʼs base.

The whole Earthʼs Base is strangely bent towards it. All people there saw themselves bending archways and getting sucked towards it.

It felt like they were trapped in a painting and this football-shaped orb was warping their perception along with their bodies.

Nobody could do anything as it felt like someone locked them entirely.

Neo saw Almond being vulnerable and struck him, conjoining his guns before unleashing an overloaded attack draining the last bit of his soul energy.

ʼGoodbye, Almond. You proved to be tougher than I imagined, but I never fight a war I donʼt win.ʼ

Just one second and everything would be over. Earthʼs base would vanish and Earth would lose.

The shot Neo released would strike Almondʼs head and blow off this clone.

Earth and all its people would get kicked out of the battlefield.

Half of the Earthʼs population would vanish randomly.

Just one second was left until all that happened.

The bullet arrived before Almondʼs face, and the Hollow Spatial Burst was about to devour the Earthʼs base, emptying a 5-kilometer radius of the area into nothingness.

One could even see the pitch-black darkness as the Hollow Spatial Burst unveiled.

It was then, that Almondʼs golden eyes turned utterly dark, darker than black.

A pulse radiated from him, robbing all colors of the surroundings as everything turned black and white.

Time stopped, or rather, nulled.

All beings felt their senses turning off, turning nothing. Their sense of existence disappearing.

A large area covering over a hundred kilometers turned pitch black where space and time didnʼt matter.

The only thing that mattered was nothing and something.

In this area, only five peopleʼs consciousness managed to retain senses aside from Almond, but they also could not do anything, not even move.

These five were Kexell, Neo, Zanathriel, Lily, and Admiral Rudra.

ʼAlmond…ʼ Admiral Rudra looked at Almond, his fist flickering with dimensional blue as he tried to break free, but to no avail.

ʼAl, babe, whatʼs going on?ʼ Lily quickly sent her thoughts to Almond as she turned to him.

ʼFuck, what did this bastard do?ʼ Zanathriel frowned. ʼWhat is this power?ʼ

Neo stared at Almond, uncertain and befuddled, therefore angry.

ʼNo way. There is no way to prevent Hollow Spatial Burst!ʼ

It consumed an unthinkable amount of energy and a special thing that took five years for him to complete with his variant Mythical-rank Metal!

He wanted to see the Hollow Spatial Burst, but his senses couldnʼt reach there.

Meanwhile, Almondʼs mind was overloaded as he wasnʼt conscious.

In fact, he was between life and death, and his instincts chose life.

Choosing life resulted in the cancelation of this phenomenon that was produced due to his resonation with Void.

And that means all colors returned, time returned, space returned, and everyoneʼs senses returned.

Hollow Spatial Burstʼs process returned.

Almond regained his consciousness, but his eyes froze, his face in the direction of Earthʼs base.

”No…”
