Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 248 Pygathor Kingdom, King Gunther Pygathor

”Otherworlders! Only the ten strongest among you will be allowed entry into our Pygathor kingdom.”

”The ten of you must prove yourself worthy to get your kingdom to become our ally and allow entry for the rest. If you fail, kindly leave and do not bother us again, or we will attack your base.”

Indeed, the territory they thought of as a town actually turned out to be a small kingdom that stretched 5 kilometers long alongside a mountain range, with roughly 100k population of Pygas.

Admiral Rudra turned around to face others as he was at the forefront and said, ”Shiro-sen, Arjun, Silvester, James, Theo, Liang, Bianca, Aarav, and Almond. The ten of us are going in. The rest of you explore other places, but stay within 5 kilometers from here.”

The guards made way as they gestured with their hands for the ten of them to enter.

”Who is that brat?” one of the guild leaders suddenly asked as he scratched his head.

”Did you hit your head or something?” old monster Viktor looked at him with a weird expression.

”I swear, I forgot his name and other things,” said the guild leader of the 19th rank Sunforge Brotherhood Guild as he wryly smiled.

”Itʼs alright. Donʼt feel too much regarding why Almond was chosen by Admiral Rudra. Thereʼs no bias in that as he is chosen purely due to his skills,” the Proximax Guild leader said in a clear and crisp voice. ”Now, let us proceed to explore other areas.”

”Itʼs a good thing you all humans at least have a chain of command,” one of the guards laughed. ”Itʼs wise to obey your superiors when they are more powerful, hence we only allow the ten strongest to enter.”

”Do you mean this isnʼt your first time dealing with otherworlders?” Guild leader Ruyi Hexing of Blackstar Guild blinked as she asked with a charming face, her big eyes showing curiosity.

It was clear that she also used a skill, albeit on herself, and not the guards as she appeared highly compelling and attractive.

”This is indeed not our first time, but-”

Suddenly, the guard glitched and laughed, ”Itʼs a good thing you all humans at least have a chain of command. Itʼs wise to obey your superiors when they are more powerful, hence we only allow the ten strongest to enter.”

The guard repeated himself again as if time had reversed, and the question Ruyi asked didnʼt exist in the first place.

Everyone was surprised.

ʼAsk them about what this world is to them,ʼ old monster Zauna magic whispered to guild leader Ruyi. ʼAsk them if they know about other kingdoms and some prominent places.ʼ

…

Meanwhile, Rudra, Almond, and eight others were led into the castle at the center of the kingdom.

The average people here were all silver-rank. Even the few kids they saw were at silver-rank.

[Almond: They have bloodlines. It seems they are born as silver-rank lifeforms right off the bat.]

[Shiro-sen: He is right.]

[Silvester: How did you find that out, brat?]

[Almond: Secret.]

[Bianca: Your eye power is indeed powerful. I highly suspect itʼs at Legendary rank.]

[Shiro-sen: No doubt there, haha.]

[Arjun: Almond, how is your progress in Bone Tethering Condensation?]

[Almond: I havenʼt started yet. Was too busy.]

[Hiroshi: Brat, you didnʼt give me an answer yet.]

[Almond: Senior Hiroshi, I gave it already. I canʼt...become your grandson-in-law.]

[Silvester: Stop pestering him, old coot.]

[Hiroshi: Tsk.]

[James: Almond, I have a small matter to discuss, so do find some time later.]

[Rudra: We are entering. Letʼs cease conversations for now.]

The group arrived in the palace hall and saw a giant four-meter-tall muscular Pyga sitting atop a throne wearing a chest plate and braces in his arms, his appearance less like a king, but more like a warrior ready to fight anytime.

”Welcome to my kingdom, humans. I am Gunther Pygathor, the King of this Pygathor Kingdom,” Gunther spoke, his voice rumblingly loud as he grinned after speaking.

Almondʼs eyes glinted faintly as he saw his status, feeling powerful pressure on him.

[Gunther Pygathor]

-Rank: Epic

-Level: 200.

-Stats:

—Physical:

↳[Strength: 800 (+800) | Health: 800 (+800) | Stamina: 800 (+400) ]

—Mental:

↳[Mana: 800 (+400) | Focus: 800 | Perception: 800 ]

ʼDamn, he maximized his stats of Epic-rank lifeform?ʼ Almondʼs pupils shrank. ʼThis guy must be crazily powerful.ʼ

”Do not fear me, kid,” Gunther said with a laugh as he looked at Almond. ”Itʼs rather impressive to be able to pierce my flesh with your eyes.”

ʼWhat?ʼ Almond was surprised. ʼHe could feel me checking him out? Did he sense my intent or the wavelength of the All-Seeing Eyes leading to me?ʼ

”Humans, your worry is unfounded as I will not attack you all first unless you become hostile to us,” Gunther said as he swept a glance at the ten of them. ”But my kingdom prides itself in our powerful physical bodies and physical combat arts. To become our ally, you must prove yourselves worthy.”

Gunther got off his throne and appeared in front of them like a silent wind, standing five meters across them, ”The ten of you must show me a move each. Attack me with your best shot and impress this king.”

”If I am satisfied, this kingdom shall ally with you.”

Right as Gunther finished speaking, the ten of them got a notification.

[Make Your Choice!]

-Option 1:

—> Task: Agreeing with Gunther Pygathor and impressing him by showing him the moves.

—> Reward: 1000 cumulative Battlefield points, 1000 Battlefield points to each of you.

-Option 2:

—> Task: Refuse and declare war on the Pygathor Kingdom.

—> Reward: Winning the war will grant you 10,000 cumulative battlefield points.

[Rudra: Our choice is clear.]

[Theo: Option one is best because we may get more opportunities to earn cumulative points through them.]

[Shiro-sen: Indeed.]

The group made their choice clear and began.

Before they could decide who would go first, Gunther said with a grin, ”Weakest among you will go first.”

”Hiroshi, go,” Silvester quickly said with a dignified expression.

Hiroshi almost cursed him but maintained his composure and said, ”King Pygathor told us to send our weakest, not strongest.”

”Bwahahaha, I see you all have a good rivalry,” Pygathor said with a laugh. ”Then, allow me to choose the weakest among you based on my instincts.”

”No problem,” Rudra plainly nodded. ”Go ahead.”

”I choose…you!”
