Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 230: Pearl King Leviathan (2/2)

Giga Devouring Veil

Almond’s defense absorbed the beam’s power for a full 1.5 seconds before it broke, and the remaining beam that lasted for 0.5 seconds struck the group, but everyone wasn’t injured with stacked defenses from those with defense skills and Marcus’s Geoprime General’s Halo skill that buffed everyone, which was further boosted by his Talent’s Ironheart Force, making its effect double.

The long-range attackers were preparing as well, so they began their assault shortly with adrenaline rushing in them as nobody was hurt from that beam attack!

Almond was planning to hold back at first and let his teammates attack, but he wasn’t expecting the Heroic Challenge to change its ways, so he decided to join the attack right off the bat.

”Start!” Almond grinned as the group already knew what to do. He also used Spirit Syringe on himself to boost his stats by 20%.

Pearl King Leviathan went into the water, but it was approaching them and would likely destroy their island. Usually, the party would need to relocate, but Almond magic whispered to everyone not to worry and continue with their assault prep.

’Time to add a new skill in the Spatial Craft series,’ Almond grinned as his eyes flickered with an imperishable golden gleam while a hazy crown formed on his head and a golden sword overlapped his Legendary golden sword.

Almond had already buffed himself with Spirit Syringe, boosting his stats by 20%, and the buffs from Talia and Amir were already activated on everyone.

A second later, the Pearl King Leviathan arrived beside their island as its finn glowed, its intention clear: crashing on their small island.

But right before that could happen, Almond teleported everyone to another island and waved his sword at the Leviathan that emerged.

As he swung his sword in a horizontal arc with the aim to cut off Leviathan’s head, a black void gnash formed in front of him that shaped into a blade before crackling with golden lightning as he consumed 90% of his remaining Mana to empower it with his Golden Haze Lightning.

The 10-meter wide black-golden slash streaked at the speed Almond himself couldn’t perceive fully and instantly struck the Pearl King.

’Damn! Selecting the boon that doubles the speed of my sword projectiles makes it impossible for anyone to dodge and its attack power also increases!’

The eight-meter thick neck area was sliced off as its head flew while the sky brightened with numbers.

384,290!

Everyone couldn’t see the number because they were also in the process of unleashing their attacks, and the sight of its head flying shocked them. However, there was no stopping their combos, and the boss also wasn’t dead just because its head flew as that attack merely reduced 4% of its vitality!

’Gotta think of a good name for this slash,’ Almond blinked.

Maya, Jemma, and Nyssara were the first ones to unleash their combo attack after Almond’s attack struck. Boosted by Maya’s Ice-booster Boon and Jemma’s Water-booster boon, the arrow that streaked with Nyssara’s buff and extra ice boost struck the giant Pearl King, freezing its entire body along that was above the water along with the surface of the ocean in the surroundings.

Right after that, a series of combo attacks struck the Leviathan consecutively.

Combo attack of Amir, Finn, and Noah: Voltaic Sandrazor Spiral.

Amir conjured a storm of sand and wind with his upgraded Wind Mastery that reached S-rank thanks to Insight Stone, and the B-rank Sand elemental mastery he acquired from his Elemental Imprint.

He emptied his entire mana to create this spiral of sand and wind, pairing it with his specialized class skill, Wind Tornado’s Fury.

Finn unleashed his specialized class skill—Neobolt Charge, which could infuse lightning charges into non-living objects and empower them, giving them lightning’s attributes.

He had selected the boon that enhanced his Neobolt Charge skill by 500%.

Noah used his specialized class skill, Festival of Steel Armament, conjuring 785 steel blades by consuming all of his mana. He had selected the Boon that empowered his Festival of Steel Armament by 500%, increasing the parameters of all steel armaments he created.

This caused the entire storm of wind and sand to have a dreadful reaction with the Neobolt Charge and those 785 steel blades, synergizing a sparkling storm that crackled with lightning as each particle of sand and blade was empowered while the wind carried the lightning through its currents along with blades with their control, as they whirled around in the storm.

At the same time, another combo attack struck the boss within the span of half a second from Kira, Talia, and Eliara, who had also made significant progress in their elemental mastery, especially Kira and Eliara, who reached S-rank in Water and Metal, while Talia progressed her Flame mastery to A-rank and awakened Magma elemental mastery, reaching B-rank.

Kira’s boon: her specialized class skill Encompassing Water Blade, which had the power to store other energies to a certain threshold on hold before releasing the blade was boosted by 500%.

Within that skill, Eliara and Talia mixed their skills, empowered by their boons. Eliara, with her 500% stronger Reactive Metal Shards that she usually used to create bombs or defenses, now infused into Encompassing Water Blade as their energies synergized to create a liquid metal while Talia’s 500% stronger Gunpower Burst increased the exploding power of her bullets now added explosiveness to this attack.

Combo Attack: Single Slash of Grand Burst!

This and Voltaic Sandrazor Spiral both struck the giant body of Pearl King before the sky brightened again and everyone saw big numbers.

1,148,390!

It was the total score so all three combo attacks after Almond’s attack contributed to over 700k of score!
