[Chaosbound Requiem]

-Rank: SS

-Effect(s):

—> A requiem to manifest Chaosbound Instruments.

1. Chaosbound Drum: Increases the Strength of allies designated by you and decreases the Strength of enemies based on Mana consumed.

2. Chaosbound Cello: Increase the potency of your skill or a target’s skill, based on Mana consumed.

3. Chaosbound Piano: Unleashes sound-based attacks with shapes according to your desire. Damage based on Mana consumed.

4. Chaosbound Flute: Charm the enemies to control their body movements forcefully while calming allies. Requires mastery in flute for increased chance of Charm and more Mana to increase intensity.

-Cost: 10% of your max Mana locked per Instrument summoned.

-Note: Each 10% of your max Mana locked increases your Mana recovery by 10%.

”Holy shit….” Almond was startled, and so was Lily as they read the skill with amazed expression.

”As expected of a Specialized class,” Lily muttered. ”They do be very powerful, especially of SS-rank.”

Natalia was grinning from ear to ear. ”Right! It’s so awesome. My Mana pool doubled, and so its recovery.”

”It’s good indeed,” Almond nodded.

”But it’s SS-rank,” Natalia wryly smiled. ”I can’t imagine what kind of power your SSS-rank class will have.”

Lily grinned, ”We’ll find out soon.”

”Our evaluations aren’t finished yet, so in the meantime, let’s test your new class,” Almond said and stood up. ”Let’s see the Chaosbound Piano’s power.”

”Yey! I better get the hang of it.”

…

Five minutes later, Natalia slumped on the ground, her expression blank.

”It’s fine. You can start learning in the Firefly City,” Lily patted her head as she chuckled.

It turned out that although the instruments could play themselves with her command, there was a hidden effect that activated when she played Piano herself.

—Increases the effectiveness of the Chaosbound Instrument by up to 100% if the user plays the instrument.

It was up to 100%, meaning that if she could play decently like a professional, the boost would be increased by 100%!

”You should learn instruments, start with Piano,” Almond said with a nod. ”I feel like the better you play the instrument, the more its power will increase, and even its effect executions too. It might also go above 100% boost, and this could be some kind of condition for your class to go to the next rank.”

Lily nodded in agreement, ”Yep. And weren’t you good with guitar?”

”True, but there’s no guitar here,” Natalia sighed. ”Well, I guess I’ll start with learning Piano once we leave.”

”Good girl,” Lily patted her head while grinning. She suddenly got a notification and chuckled, ”Nice, I got my evaluation done.”

[Congratulations. The starting rank of your specialized class is SSS rank. The first skill of your specialized class has been generated based on your skill imagination input.]

Lily directly shared it with Almond and Natalia as they began reading the information.

[Dreadspire Warlock]

-Class rank: SSS

-Class perk: +100% Mana recovery, +100% Blood recovery.

-Class skill(s):

—> 1. Warlock Enchant: Dreadspire Elements.

[Warlock Enchant: Dreadspire Elements]

-Skill rank: SSS

-Effect(s):

—> You can use these four Dreadspire Elements to enchant your weapons or skills with added effects. The higher the mana consumed, the more potent the effects. You can have multiple Dreadspire Elements enchants in one attack.

1. Darkened Flame: Continuously burns, fueling from the target’s blood, and bans the healing process, even from skills.

2. Withered Wind: Corrode durabilities and defenses.

3. Curseweaved Water: Drains target’s Mana and Stamina.

4. Gloombound Earth: Reduces target’s movement speed and action speed.

-Cost: 50 Mana and 1% of Blood per enchant. Stays active for 10 seconds. Every 1% of Blood sacrificed increases potency by 1% and duration by 1 second, and the lower your blood, the more powerful the enchants.

”That Darkened Flame is crazily powerful,” Natalia was dumbfounded. ”The others too…damn! As expected of SSS-rank class.”

”You can consume 1% of your blood to increase duration by a whole 1 second,” Almond raised his eyebrows. ”Not to mention that the class perk gave you a 100% recovery boost in Blood. This is op, alright.”

Lily took out her daggers as they were coated in black flame, her face grinning. ”This is nice. Alright, I want to check my Blood recovery.”

”Let’s see,” Almond nodded as it was important to check that. He looked at Lily’s vitality, but it was still 100%, although she lost 1% of her Blood.

After ten seconds passed by, she started losing 1% of her Blood every second.

Meanwhile, the black flames became darker and glowed more intensely.

Three seconds later, 1% of her Vitality was reduced.

It reduced by another 1% two seconds later.

And after that, she started losing 1% Vitality every two seconds.

Suddenly, Lily changed the enchant as a dark blue watery aura coated around her daggers.

The consumption doubled, so Lily removed the Darkened Flame enchant.

”Hit me,” Almond said seeing the Curseweaved Water. ”Let’s see how long the effect stays on the target once you hit them.”

Lily slightly cut Almond’s palm, and he immediately saw a debuff on him in his status window while stamina and mana started draining at a weird rate.

”It’s a percentage-based reduction for this Curseweaved Water,” Almond was startled. ”That’s crazy. ”Six seconds. It stayed for six seconds.”

”That’s a lot. And I felt my stamina and Blood recovery increase. Is it because I drained your Stamina?” Lily was surprised.

”You can drain stamina? That’s freaking powerful,” Natalia was tongue-tied.

’Lily’s vitality was reduced to 83% when she made that slash, so….’ Almond thought of something as he said, ”Do it again. Let’s see if the duration of debuff increases since it technically mentioned losing blood would increase the power of Enchants.”

Moreover, Almond saw that the debuff in his status showed 6.3 seconds, so he figured the duration also increased.

Lily made a small slash again, and indeed, the duration increased to 7.1 seconds, and the reduction rate of Mana and Stamina also increased slightly.

When she made the second slash, her Vitality had been reduced to 78%!

”Alright, your first skill is extremely powerful,” Almond grinned. ”Well, it’s an SSS rank, so that’s obvious, but this is cool.”

Lily deactivated the skill and nodded, a thrilled smile on her face. ”All four elemental enchants are powerful! And they also have the original elemental attributes on top of these Dreadspire effects.”

She suddenly thought of something and said, her eyes widened, ”But this makes one thing clear. The guild leader of League of Firefly has an SSS-rank specialized class! My mentor told me about one of his skills in rough detail, and if I compare it with mine, then it makes sense.”

”This means that there are indeed people with SSS-rank specialized class,” Almond wryly smiled. ”Well, we expected that.”

”So there should be relatively more numbers of SS-rank specialized class Adventurers, eh?” Natalia murmured.

”Yeah, but this is still rare. We are just way better,” Lily cheekily smiled. ”And you are lucky you got us to help you with your specialized class.”

”Tsk, I don’t deny that.”

”Having a high-ranked class is good and all, but in the end, what matters is how good our abilities and hard work are,” Almond said as he felt something deep in his heart but couldn’t figure it out. ”We don’t become undefeatable with high-ranked classes…if we become careless, we die.”

”Urgh…” Almond clutched his head as he suddenly saw some images of pure destruction and shook his head while his breathing turned heavy and uneven.

”What happened, Almond? Are you okay?”

”That…” Natalia frowned. ”It’s the same as before....”

”I’m f-fine,” Almond shook his head a few times and rubbed his temples as everything disappeared. The headache was also gone instantly as if it never appeared.

”So weird,” Almond sighed. Suddenly, a notification rang in his head.

[Congratulations. The starting rank of your specialized class…]
