Chapter 460: Chapter 256: Daily Teaching of Magic Construction_2Subsequently, Su Xiaoou mimicked Jiang Shu’s calm tone usually used on stage, ”In your life, there are many important people. Now, you can think of that person’s name in your mind.”

”Yes, done,” Jiang Shu nodded. After hearing that request, the first name that came to his mind was Liu Tingruo.

”Now, focus your attention on her name, and let her name gradually transform into initials,” Su Xiaoou said seriously, ”Please treat this seriously.”

”Okay.” Jiang Shu then closed his eyes, ”And then?”

”Next, find a brand new deck of playing cards and a marker,” continued Su Xiaoou.

Jiang Shu also reached under the coffee table in front of the sofa and pulled out a deck of playing cards, then pulled a marker from a pen holder on the coffee table. He turned his head to look at Su Xiaoou’s holographic projection on his wristwatch, not speaking, but his eyes were filled with questions about what to do next.

”Great, now, use this marker to write down the initials that just surfaced in your mind on the side of this deck of playing cards,” Su Xiaoou then said. After speaking, she also picked up a deck of cards beside her to show to Jiang Shu, ”Like this side. This over fifty cards will form a natural thickness, write the initials on this thickness. Make it big, preferably in a towering way.”

”I understand,” Jiang Shu replied, then wrote the initials ”LTR” for Liu Tingruo on the side of the fresh deck of cards. This procedure gave him a rather novel feeling.

Write on the side?

Not on the surface of an individual card?

Compared to that, there are so many magic tricks involving writing on the card faces, while this kind of writing on the side...

He actually wanted to see what Su Xiaoou was planning to do.

From the current steps, this should be an automated magic trick.

”Very good, next follow your heart, and randomly reorder these four numbers 1234 quickly, without hesitation,” Su Xiaoou gave another urgent command.

Jiang Shu replied without hesitation, ”3241.”

”3241, 3241,” Su Xiaoou nodded her head while repeating, then she said solemnly, ”This number has a special meaning in the grand scheme of things. Now, you can follow this order to deal this deck of playing cards to the coffee table in front of you.”

As she spoke, Su Xiaoou also did this on her end. Four spaces appeared in front of her with the numbers ”1234” written on them and she began dealing cards, first placing a card in slot ”3,” then ”2,” and so on.

”This deck will be shuffled by the order you said, what it will ultimately become we cannot know, but what we can be certain of is...” Su Xiaoou paused, ”If she is the one in your heart, you will recognize her no matter what form it takes.”

Jiang Shu did the same, so four small piles of cards quickly appeared in front of him.

”Good, now pick up the four piles of cards in front of you, and tell me what you see?” Su Xiaoou’s face showed Jiang Shu’s signature confident smile. It was apparent she was imitating everything about Jiang Shu.

Unable to help it, in this world there was only one magician, and this sole magician was her teacher. Her manner of performance being similar to Jiang Shu’s was almost inevitable.

In the early stages of a magic career, this certainly wasn’t a problem. Imitation is indeed the best method for rapid improvement, so at this moment, Jiang Shu wouldn’t deduct points from Su Xiaoou’s performance.

Jiang Shu picked up the four small piles and saw that each of their sides conspicuously displayed a miniaturized ”LTR.”

”Hmm?” He was slightly startled. These four miniaturized ”LTR”s were unexpectedly impactful at that moment, producing a magic effect that caught him off guard.

Thus Jiang Shu nodded, rarely offering praise, ”Nice, this magic trick is quite interesting.”

”I told you that no matter what form it takes, you’d be able to recognize her again,” Su Xiaoou said upon seeing the slight smile emerge on Jiang Shu’s face, feeling somewhat relieved.

It seemed this secret she stumbled upon inadvertently was very useful!

A great success in battle!

Previously, she had performed this magic trick in front of many people. Without exception, each one exhibited a shocked expression when they saw the four miniaturized initials.

”Hmm,” Jiang Shu nodded again to express his approval, ”As a prototype for a magic trick, this procedure is satisfactory.”

”Prototype?” Su Xiaoou was slightly taken aback, she asked subconsciously, ”Can’t we perform it directly already?”

”Not yet,” Jiang Shu shook his head candidly, ”This magic trick’s creativity scores ninety, but the whole procedure and performance I can only award seventy. Altogether, it’s eighty, qualifying it as a rather excellent magic trick.”

”Hmm...” Su Xiaoou frowned slightly as she recollected her performance, somewhat puzzled, ”Are there any obvious flaws? Teacher, have you figured out the secret of this magic trick?”

”Well, it’s not difficult to understand,” Jiang Shu responded noncommittally, with his level of skill, managing to deceive him for a moment was already quite commendable.
