Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1862 How Are You

There are some events in history that arenʼt meant to happen, not even with Fateʼs intervention.

One such event was the Primordial Chaos Dragon meeting a Forsaken being and, instead of killing each other, one sacrificing everything to save the other.

The funny part was that even after everything that had happened, which ultimately landed her in the most dreadful place anyone could ever dream of going, she never once blamed or regretted saving Chaos.

Over the years, she had lived on the edge, not knowing when death would come for her. Safira asked herself many times whether or not she would do what she did again if she were sent back in time.

Every time, her answer was yes.

She wouldnʼt hesitate.

This meant she had no regrets.

On the other side, while he could put everything down to repaying a debt, Chaos also never once thought that ne day he would spare the life of a forsaken being.

His hatred for the Forsaken race at that moment was so great that he wouldnʼt spare even a single soul from that race.

But not killing Safira hadnʼt pained him, not even for a moment.

He could have said he spared her only because she had saved him. But that thought never crossed his mind, which, now that he thought about it, was unusual for him.

However, while neither of them knew it at the time, they had done something even Fate was not prepared for.

They defied Fate, which, now that things had become clear, pointed to a contingency that had saved Kent from the Primordial Era to this very moment.

By Safira saving Kent and him not killing her, they broke Fate, changing the trajectory of both their lives for thirteen whole eras.

In Kentʼs case, he survived his heart demon simply because his fate wasnʼt complete. As for Safira, she had spent the last thirteen eras surviving one harrowing danger after another.

Maybe seeing how lean she had become, Kent couldnʼt hold back his tears. And Safira, seeing the person who was the sole reason she had lived and never given up all these years, also teared up.

On the outside, Kentʼs wives, unable to contain their curiosity, asked Tower to project what was happening inside so they could all see. Before long, every one of them had tears in their eyes.

They had learned from Ruby that Safira hadnʼt had it easy inside Amonʼs Guillotine Cave. Ruby had lived inside the Blood Variant Pool for eras, and while she had no business entering the Green Variant Pool, she had seen Safira before.

Back then, Safira had been doing her best to escape from three Supremes, her body covered in grave wounds.

The second time Ruby saw her, she was barely clinging to life as she fled from her pursuers.

Learning all this and seeing how malnourished and unkempt she had become when Inaya brought her back, they wished with every fibre of their being that Kent would be good to her.

Even if he hated Forsaken beings, Safira shouldnʼt be one of them.

So, seeing him break down and emotionally reveal what he truly felt deep within, none of them could hold back their tears.

Elina, whose death had sparked the slaughter campaign Chaos embarked upon, stood with trembling eyes as she watched what could be considered the beginning of something beautiful.

Maybe, and this is a big maybe, Kent could finally make peace with her death and do away with his bitterness, one that had already caused enough damage to both himself and the people around him.

Tower stopped the projection when she deemed it was enough for now.

Meanwhile, inside the Love House, Kent held Safira in his arms for a couple of minutes before he reached forward and wiped her tears away.

Then, leaning down, he planted a kiss on her forehead.

Safira opened her beautiful green eyes, meeting Kentʼs. So much was said in that single moment of eye contact.

Safira raised her trembling hand and gently brushed her fingers across his cheek. Deep within her eyes, Kent saw that she wanted to say something, but the words never reached her lips.

He kissed her forehead again and asked in a calm tone, ”How are you, Safira?”

Hearing Kent call her name, her body trembled. In her heart, she felt happy that Kent could still remember her name.

”I am fine... now.”

”That is good.” Kent smiled faintly and wiped the tears from her eyes.

”I can say a lot of emotional things and make all kinds of generous gestures just to tell you how sorry I am. However, we both know that what you have been through canʼt be undone with a mere apology.

”But we can start somewhere and work our way toward making sure the next eternity is the best you will ever experience.”

Safiraʼs eyelids trembled slightly, and she nodded before burying her face in Kentʼs lap.

Kent brushed her hair while taking a deep breath. He clearly wasnʼt looking forward to this emotional reunion. He had only expected to meet Safira and have whatever she had unintentionally taken from him returned to him.

He had no idea today would turn out to be the day he would hold a Forsaken being in his arms and weep because of how much she had suffered.

When Kent had described Safira to Inaya, he hadnʼt exaggerated by saying she had a body to die for. She truly was curvy, and that alone spoke volumes about her beauty.

But she had lost so much weight that, as he looked at her now, even despite possessing the cultivation of a Universal God, she looked malnourished.

That was how much she had suffered.

And that was what broke Kent.

She was banished because of him, so he feels guilty for what happened to her.

He didnʼt know what he had to do to get his fate back.

But he didnʼt even think about it, because right now, he was simply happy that she had returned to the universe in one piece. And she would forever remain by his side, even if the entire universe rejected her.

Kent continued to hold Safira when, suddenly, a message appeared before his eyes, causing him to smirk.

[A part of your fate is linked to Safira. To get it back, you must get to know her and build a strong bond with her. Only then can you restore your fate to 100%.]
