Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1618: Crimson Blood Demon General (1)

Unique traits are basically perks one receives based on many factors. Some come from their class, bloodline, innate body, soul strength, and several other factors.

What Kent was staring at came about due to Kharvok’s Ice Elemental affinity. He had already achieved Extreme Ice affinity. However, the shock came in the form of what he sensed hidden inside the [Heart of Endless Winter] trait.

It appeared Kharvok isn’t far from achieving the next stage of elemental affinity: Ultimate Ice.

”Hey Kharvok, say, has something happened to your ice affinity?”

”I don’t know, but let me check.” Kent watched as Kharvok formed a ball of ice and started examining it. After a few minutes, he put it away.

”I can sense it has become more potent. Also, I can feel I am much closer to attaining Ultimate Ice.”

”I see. Thanks, Kharvok.”

Kent never expected these changes to happen, so this was like an eye-opener for him. But he couldn’t help but wonder just what kind of modifications Kharvok went through to attain such powers.

This made him think of Grand Dark Lich Barnabas. ’I will thank him first, then take everything from him before killing him,’ Kent laughed inwardly.

The new [Omniscent Jade Eye] can see 2 seconds into the future.

While many may see 2 seconds as short, in a high-speed battle, 2 seconds might as well be 2 minutes.

A lot can happen in two seconds, and so Kent knew that with how vast his soul sea was, he would abuse this power, especially against powerful opponents.

Seeing how many sword attacks would happen in the next 2 seconds, and creating a counter for them would come in handy for sure.

He spent some more time examining the Omniscient Jade Eye. When he had had enough, he stopped and focused on learning the [Absolute Sword Energy].

With his comprehension speed, learning wasn’t too hard.

It took less than 30 minutes to fully comprehend it. The moment he unlocked [Absolute Sword Energy], his sword intent and Sword Aura had become much stronger, bringing a smile to his face.

He felt a bit safe knowing he was walking into the battle with his swordsmanship at a level he could not move beyond unless he defeated his opponent.

Two and a half days later, Kent and Kharvok arrived in the Central Region. The moment they crossed the border and entered the Central Region, Kent felt some of his power sealed.

He could sense most of his trump cards, such as [Finger of Destruction], [Claw Art], his dragon abilities, and most of the Soul Universe abilities, being restricted.

He retained his sword skills and techniques, along with abilities like Chaos Scale Shield, Soul Map, and others, which he believed did not violate the rules of swordsmanship.

Feeling himself made to wield only his swordsmanship skills made him smile slyly, but he said nothing.

He was already aware of this before coming, so he had prepared.

It would be a battle between a Sword Immortal and a Sword Emperor. While Kent had yet to reach the Sword Divine and Sword Legend stages, he had reasons to believe he wasn’t limited at all.

The only downside was using a sword realm against a sword domain.

He had faced such odds in the past and knew just how frustrating it was. However, if he managed to take advantage of his opponent’s domain, they would be able to have a good battle.

Kent and Kharvok started making their way through the Central Region, heading toward the core.

They met no beasts, a sign that told them this region was only populated by one person, and that was the demon Kent came to kill.

A few hours after arriving in the Central Region, Kent and Kharvok came to a stop, their focus locked on a lone figure standing atop a small hill 2 km away.

”Looks like he found us, Kharvok,” Kent said, a calm smile playing on his lips.

For a moment, he took his time to have a good look at the mountain of a demon he was meant to kill using nothing but his sword.

The Crimson Blood Demon General possessed a towering demonic stature, standing over 3 meters tall.

Kent couldn’t determine exactly how tall he stood, but he knew no normal being should be that tall.

Even in his dragon form, Kent only became a few inches taller than in his humanoid form.

This demon was already a few feet taller than a normal demon.

His skin was dark crimson, covered in black, glowing demonic veins that pulsed like molten lava beneath his flesh. Two massive twisted black horns curved backwards from his skull, while chains forged from cursed bloodsteel hung from his shoulders and waist.

His glowing scarlet eyes burned like dying suns, radiating terrifying killing intent as he locked eyes with Kent.

The Chaos Dragon felt like this gaze alone was enough to kill him.

’Killing this demon would be very difficult.’ Kent wasn’t mistaken; he could indeed tell this might be that one opponent every swordsman dreaded ever meeting.

What made him wonder whether this battle was arranged to see if he could grow past Lord Genesis talent as a swordsman was the large, torn wings made of condensed blood energy that spread behind the demon, constantly dripping crimson particles into the air.

It would be both a land and aerial battle, one that would determine many aspects of combat.

’Winning will surely give me the confidence to challenge powerful foes later,’ Kent resolved himself, knowing the time had come.

”Kharvok, buddy, this battle is between me and this demon. I brought you so you can stand guard against any unknown intruders that may try to sneak up on us.

You have my permission to use every means necessary to kill them.”

Kharvok nodded. ”Good luck, Young Lord.”

”I indeed need luck, don’t I?” Kent jested and took flight, his wings unfurling behind him. He had no reason to keep standing there.

The Crimson Blood Demon General saw him move, and he also took flight. A few seconds later, they stood in the air 200 meters apart.

”So you were the one who took what doesn’t belong to you.” The Crimson Blood Demon General’s eyes snapped toward Kharvok, who had moved 10 km away, before turning back to Kent.

”Do you know the kind of person you have offended?”

Kent smiled and responded, ”I know, and as it stands, I don’t really care. However, I have a question. Are you one of his little experiments?”

Kent used the Omniscient Jade Eye on him, and all he saw was danger and terror. However, that didn’t change the fact that he sensed some form of foreign presence in the Crimson Blood Demon General.

It felt like someone had taken hold of his being and could command him.

”It seems your arrogance will be your downfall, dragon. Though I wonder, how did someone like you manage to tame a beast under my Dark Lord’s control? Even a failed one like him should have been impossible.”

”I can tell you and even free you if you just go down on your knees and bow to me.”

Kent saw the Crimson Blood Demon General move, and a large red greatsword appeared in his hand, a wide horizontal swing aimed for his neck.

He blinked, and the next second, the Crimson Blood Demon General moved, a large red greatsword appearing in his hand. Just as Kent had foreseen, the attack came for his neck.

Gaap appeared in his grip, and the next moment, a powerful mixture of sword aura exploded out, shredding the trees around them.
