Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1205: Vexthra’s Favour

”First of all, allow me to apologize on my brother’s behalf. He is too hot-tempered and doesn’t know when to step back. So please forgive him and accept this wine as a token of my sincerity.”

Orion waved his hand, and a jade bottle filled with half a litre of wine appeared. Two glasses appeared on the table, and he quickly poured the wine into them.

The smell of the wine instantly cleared Vexthra’s mind, allowing her comprehension speed to surge. Her mind cleared completely.

’A great wine.’ She said inwardly.

”This is the Stardrop Noir. It is a special brew from the Wine God of the Eastern Quadrant, Lord Daevor. He gave it to me as a thank-you for helping him with a crucial matter.

I was saving it for when I step into the rank of a God King, since just a single drop can boost my comprehension by a millionfold.”

Vexthra took the wine glass and swirled the red wine inside. The dark red liquid in the glass releases a powerful medicinal essence that quickly makes the mouth go watery.

She looked at Orion and asked, ”If it holds so much importance to you, then why pour it for me. You could have just hid it, and I wouldn’t know.”

Orion smiled slightly... ”Drinking it with a fairy such as yourself is more important than a dream that might as well never happen.”

”Don’t sell yourself too short, Orion. I’ve heard even the Supremes ask for your help from time to time.”

”I was just privileged to catch their eye, I suppose. After all, I am not the only god that can manipulate the Laws of Space.”

”But you are the best I’ve heard. That is more than enough reason for you to keep going and never give up.”

Orion swirls the drink in his glass but doesn’t dare drink it, not when Vexthra still hasn’t touched her own. Her words, however, seem to resonate with him.

Being praised by a figure as mighty and majestic as Vexthra felt nice.

The wine in his glass, just a single drop, can cause an entire galaxy in the Immortal Realm to go to war over it. It is a special brew from one of the seven Wine Gods.

Every Wine God has their special brews. One of the finest brews of Wine God Daevor is the Stardrop Noir. It is a wine that holds the power over comprehension/understanding.

Just one drop of it will enhance the drinker’s ability to comprehend things a million times faster. It also lasts for 10,000 years. However, a person can only drink it once in their lifetime.

A ten thousand years is a long time to learn something while under the divine intoxication of a wine.

Orion got this bottle after helping Wine God Daevor navigate a special space accessible only to those with the Space Law, so he could secure an ingredient for a wine he is working on.

This bottle, he had been saving it for millions of years. However, to appease a god, he broke it open now.

It is painful—excruciating even.

However, to show his sincerity, he had no choice but to prove to Vexthra that he meant well.

This is just one of three bottles made by the wine god.

Vexthra swirled the wine again, and then she took a sip. In an instant, her mind opened, allowing her to start comprehending so many things at once.

Deep inside her primordial space, her primordial spirit opened her eyes just when Vexthra consumed the wine.

[What is that?] her primordial spirit asked.

’It is a wine I secured from a god who is trying to suck up to me simply because he is afraid I will hurt him or, worse, kill his scum of a brother.’

Because her primordial spirit has been cultivating the Ancient Path for a couple of years now, she isn’t as connected to her mind as she was before.

However, now that she is awake, everything she missed is flooding back into her mind.

[I see. Looks like he cares about his brother to sacrifice such good wine.]

’That is true.’

[In any case, the wine you drank has opened my mind, allowing me to comprehend the Ancient Path much faster now. At this rate, I will step into the ranks of an Immortal in a few years. Once that happens, we can help Kent actively like the rest of our sisters.]

’Good to hear that.’

[It is indeed a great thing. Which is why you should take the rest of the bottle and let our sisters have a taste of greatness. I am sure they will love the effect. Later, we will visit the wine god to see if we can secure another bottle for our sisters who will be joining in the future.]

Vexthra smiles inwardly... ’I am not sure it is going to be that easy. He seems attached to that wine. Although he doesn’t want to show it, I can see he is very sad right now.

The previous me wouldn’t have batted an eye and would have taken the whole bottle. However, I am different now.’

[I know, and I am not asking you to snatch it from him. Just help him with something far more important than the wine, and he will willingly give it to you.

I will prepare a Space Law comprehension technique I saw in the Ancient Path. Give it to him, and I am sure he will be happy and even offer to become your servant for life.]

’You are a flower.’

[I know. You and I are one. We share the same body and bear the same name. I am literally your soul, so no need to praise me. Praise yourself.]

Vexthra smiled again inwardly and took another sip of the wine.

”Good wine,” she muttered, causing a pale smile to appear on Orion’s face.

Vexthra sighs, ”You don’t have to drink if you don’t want to. After all, I came here to ask you to help someone cross between galaxies in the High World.”

Orion set the glass down, using the moment to mask the hesitation to drink the wine. Vexthra noticed it, but she said nothing. She knew he would happily drink it soon.

”High World, huh. Isn’t that the place where one would have to cross the spatial field filled with Space Beasts to travel between galaxies?”

Vexthra said nothing. She merely nodded.

”Hmm. It is going to be a complex request. The laws prohibit intergalactic travel. This is to ensure the locks that prevent the Creatures of the Void from weakening.

If I were to open a spatial channel through it, it would indeed prevent the person from facing too much horror, but it would also weaken the Void Locks. That would be bad for the universe.”

”I know. However, this person needs to get to this galaxy, so one way or another, he would have to cross the spatial field.”

Orion took a deep sigh and focused his attention on Vexthra. A few seconds later, he sighed again.

”This is a big ask, Goddess Vexthra... It is a big ask that can cost me my divinity. So I am afraid I can’t help you.” He took a deep breath and stared at his wine.

”However, there is another way... one that was paved by someone I am sure you are familiar with...”

”Who...”

Orion sighed and then spoke the name many would love to forget... ”The Ruthless Bandit.”
