Global Hide And Seek: Start With A Stealth Card!

Chapter 2 No Smoking, I Can Choose! (Ask For Flowers)”Looks like I’m a challenger now, and it’s okay, I’ve already crossed over. It would be boring if I continued to pass my life in an ordinary way. The rewards of this challenge include superpowers. Hehe, how can I be a superhero in this world?” Isn’t it more interesting?”

Because of the existence of the hide-and-seek space, many of the best of those challengers have gained superpowers from the rewards.

From time to time, some news about people with superpowers will be reported on the Internet, which makes Tang Yu envious.

In fact, he has been looking forward to this day, and he also hopes that he can become a challenger!

When Tang Yu was excited about becoming a challenger, an electronic voice sounded.

”Hello, Tang Yu, this is the preparation space for the Life and Death Hide and Seek Challenge. Since you are entering for the first time, a challenger status is being created for you.”

A minute later, Tang Yu noticed that the clothes on his body had changed. He touched his face, and found that he was covered with beards, as if his appearance had also changed.

”The challenger identity has been created. Your appearance has been modified. You can also choose to start the challenge with your own appearance. Do you want to use your own appearance?”

A question mark appeared on the screen, along with the above question.

Tang Yu replied decisively: ”Not using it.”

This is the top one in the strategy of the life and death hide-and-seek challenge, don’t use your own appearance!

In the Challenger League, everyone has to fight each other for their lives, and enmity is inevitable.

If you use your own appearance, if you are recognized, it is very likely to harm your family.

Moreover, this choice can only be chosen for the first time, and will remain the first choice in the future, and many people have suffered a disadvantage.

Tang Yu, who has fully understood the strategy, of course would not make such a low-level mistake.

”The following is your identifying information:”

Code Name: Kyushu [Modifyable]

Sex: Male

Age: 18

Rating: F

Strength: 10

Dexterity: 10

Stamina: 10

Stamina: 10

Spirit: 10

Special Ability: None

Tang Yu originally wanted to change his code name, but he didn’t expect the automatically generated code name to be pretty good, so let’s do it.

”Your identity tonight is...”

Two names appeared on the screen, ”Dodger” and ”Finder”.

These two titles flickered back and forth, and finally gradually settled on... The evader!

As expected by Tang Yu, it is an avoider, because in a challenge, the number of avoiders is far more than that of the discoverer, so the probability of becoming an avoider is very high.

Some information continued to be displayed on the screen.

”According to your current rating: F, you have been assigned to the 15th session of the one-star competition area. The players in this competition area have three ratings: D, E, and F. Tonight, there are two evaders in the competition with you. One hundred and thirty, and ten discoverers.”

”Next, please draw your weapon.”

According to the preparation process learned in advance, each challenger will go through a four-step preparation process regardless of their identity.

Extract weapons, equipment, props, and ability cards.

Now is the first step, drawing the weapon.

”The weapons that F-level dodgers can choose in this round are as follows:”

Four cards of different colors appeared on the screen, with four weapons drawn on them.

They are: white card [cotton], white card [sheet], white card [mouse], green card [brick].

Tang Yu almost vomited blood. The cards that an F-level challenger could choose were too rubbish. Four of them were randomly drawn, and the best one was actually a green card.

However, this is also in line with the strategy found on the Internet.

Only as the rating continues to rise, the cards that can be selected each time have a higher probability of appearing with better quality.

Tang Yu also knows that if he is the discoverer, even if he is F-rank, the weapon will not be bad.

This is the difference between the discoverer and the avoider. The weapons that the discoverer can choose will never appear such useless weapons as cotton and bed sheets.

It should come as no surprise that an F-Class Finder carries a pistol.

Next, the four cards should be memorized and then shuffled for the challenger to choose. This is the process mentioned in the online guide.

At this time, it is necessary to play luck, because every time there must be very rubbish cards, and there are relatively good cards.

Although the tile is not a good card, it is better than cotton.

On the surface, each card has a 1/4 probability, but according to the guide written by an experienced person, in fact, the probability of each card being drawn is different.

The better the card the harder it is to draw.

Tang Yu waited for a long time, and found that the four cards were still not memorized, and they were just placed in front of him.

”Huh? Is the system stuck? This process seems to be different from what I saw.”

After waiting for a long time, the system began to urge, ”Challenger Kyushu, please choose your weapon card.”

Tang Yu tentatively clicked on the tile on the screen.

”Congratulations on getting the green card [Brick].”

A white light flashed in Tang Yu’s hand, and there was a freshly baked brick.

”I’m going... Is this my golden finger? You don’t need to draw, you can choose your own card?”
