Global Gods: Start with a lottery system

Chapter 155 Entering the AcademyThe airship stopped at a wide central square. The middle-aged instructor surnamed Chu only said to Xu Yi alone, ”Tomorrow afternoon, we will participate in the instructor selection.”

He left in a hurry. Naturally, he did not have to lead the subsequent procedures. Instead, several college students were waiting early. They would lead the new students with various welfare benefits to go through the procedures in batches.

Among the new students recruited by Shuangxuan Academy this time, only Xu Yi had the instructor’s personal level welfare benefits, three people had three-star welfare benefits, more than ten two-star, and more than thirty one-star.

In previous years, this number was enough, but this year, somehow many monsters emerged, and many colleges recruited two instructors above the level of personal teaching.

In this comparison, Shuangxuan Academy is actually at a disadvantage, which is equivalent to widening or narrowing the gap with other colleges, but Shuangxuan Academy itself does not care much about this, because this academy has other reliance besides its own strength.

As a student who was admitted with the welfare treatment of the instructor, the procedures that Xu Yi needed to go through were different from those of others, so there was a senior who was specifically responsible for him and took him through all the admission procedures.

When following this senior to leave the square, Xu Yi felt a cold gaze behind him. He remembered that it was one of the freshmen with three-star welfare treatment.

Was it jealousy? Or was there another reason?

Xu Yi shook his head. There was no need to care too much about such things. What he had to do now was to make up for the shortcomings of the biochemist path as soon as possible. During this period, his strength will enter a blowout period.

After this period of time, Xu Yi felt that even if he did not call on divine power, the three-star treatment students should not be his opponents.

The senior who took him was Yan Xuewu, a two-star welfare treatment student. He was relatively dull and honest. Basically, Xu Yi would only answer one question when he asked about the student’s situation, but he was also easier to talk to.

Arranging such a person was also the intention of the college, at least such a person would not make things difficult for him.

”Senior Yan, I’ve always been a little confused about the star-level benefits of this academy. Can you explain it to me?”

”Oh, for this, our two-star benefits are 500 Baios per month, all the secret arts below the intermediate level can apply for one and practice one, the right to apply for secret arts below the intermediate level, the right to apply for basic biochemical materials for free, and cultivation resources such as radiation stones. These are the more useful ones.”

”I don’t know the specific benefits of the instructor’s personal teaching, but it is said that there are two more useful ones, free transportation within the academy and free use of a small biochemical experiment hill outside the academy.”

Yan Xuewu explained while taking Xu Yi to a ten-story building around the square.

But after he finished explaining, he fell silent again, without a single extra word.

Next, Xu Yi was taken by Yan Xuewu to shuttle back and forth between the floors of the high-rise building to handle various procedures and sign a lot of documents. Xu Yi didn’t care much about those slightly unfair terms. Anyway, it was Zhang Chengwen who signed the name, what did it have to do with me, Xu Yi?

The treatment of the mentor’s personal teaching is several levels better than the two-star treatment Yan Xuewu said. The first and most intuitive one is Baio. The mentor’s personal teaching can receive 2,000 Baio every month. In the previous life, it was directly 20,000 per month, a senior white-collar worker.

All the cultivation rights of secret methods and secret arts are open, but advanced and top secret arts need to be exchanged by Baio or something called academy points.

In terms of biochemical modulation materials, basic and advanced materials are all free, while some rare and even top biochemical beast modulation materials need to be exchanged by points or Baio in-app purchase.

In addition to a certain number of radiation stones, the secret method cultivation resources also provide additional radiation liquid and radiation fog. Compared with the former, the latter two can produce higher radiation concentrations and take effect faster. This was also one of the reasons why the Chu teacher was not afraid that Xu Yi would not be able to reach level three within four years. There were even genius treasures that could permanently improve his radiation quality.

Of course, these had to be exchanged with points and Baio.

The biochemical test hill and transportation that Yan Xuewu mentioned were comprehensive, and there were even meal subsidies, free biochemical transformation opportunities, and so on, which made Xu Yi dazzled.

However, the price corresponding to such benefits must be high, as can be seen from the documents signed by Xu Yi.

After three years as a freshman, Xu Yi had to participate in ground defense every year and serve in the defense area of Shuangxuan Academy. There were also various competitions between colleges, and Xu Yi had to fight in the name of the college. Of course, this was also an obligation to match the treatment.

After all the procedures were completed, Yan Xuewu said goodbye to Xu Yi and left without saying a word, leaving Xu Yi speechless for a while. Fortunately, he also told Xu Yi the route back to the central square.

Xu Yi still has to go home to spend the night today. The official opening of school is tomorrow, which can be regarded as giving students time to go home and announce the good news.

After the newcomers who had completed the formalities returned, the airship took off again and sent them to the cross-floor elevator on the seventh floor.

It was more than two hours after dinner time when Xu Yi returned home. Zhang’s mother was still watching the old TV, not touching the slightly cold food, waiting for her two children to return.

Because Zhang Chengwen and Zhang Chengwu had come home late no less than ten times before, she seemed to have gotten used to this situation.

Pushing open the heavy iron door, Xu Yi walked into the house.

”Chengwen is back. Which college did he get into?” Zhang’s mother’s tone was a little hesitant, but also contained a hint of expectation.

”Shuangxuan Academy.”

”Really?! You didn’t lie to me! Haha, my son really got into Shuangxuan Academy!”

Zhang’s mother was happy at first, but soon the joy and excitement quickly cooled down and turned into worry.

”Will you participate in ground service missions in the future? Will it be dangerous?”

”It will take three years to participate, and the treatment the academy gives me is not bad.”

Zhang’s mother did not have the experience of entering the academy, so there was no need to force her to explain the star rating and mentor teaching system that Xu Yi had understood for a while.

Zhang’s mother knew that his entry into Shuangxuan Academy should have been enough to make her excited for a long time, and maybe it would be a good topic of conversation when he went to work tomorrow.

”You are all grown up now and have your own ideas. Mom doesn’t understand what you are doing, but now you are on the right track, don’t touch those evil ways...”

The worry on her face gradually deepened.

The smile on Xu Yi’s face froze. A mother is a mother after all. She probably couldn’t hide her feelings about what her two sons were doing.

”I know. I will try to persuade my brother.”
