Global Gods: Start with a lottery system

Chapter 142 College Exam (Part 1)A few people happened to walk to a large arena, where a large number of students taking part in the college entrance examination had already gathered.

Some devices emitting blue light particles were being installed in the arena. Ju Wuping casually introduced: ”This is a particle interferometer, which can offset the radiation aftermath generated during battles in the arena.”

When everyone turned their attention to the particle interferometer, a finger with long gray-black nails floated above the shoulder of the person next to him.

Zuo Xiaotang lowered his voice and said secretly: ”That’s Kuzhi Huang Teng, a seed player. Logically speaking, there is no need to come early, but he still arrived now, maybe because he wanted to wait and see the strength of this graduates. It is said that the withered finger next to him is his biological beast, the withered vine monster.”

The seeded players are students with strong strength and potential recommended by major basic schools. They do not need to participate in the first round of knockout rounds. But for them, participating in the elimination round is just eliminating three more students who may have good potential.

”Hey, Tangtang, why are you here?” Two well-dressed girls passed by and greeted Zuo Xiaotang in surprise, who had his head lowered in the crowd.

”Ah, I will come see you later. These are my new friends.”

”Okay, you talk first, don’t be in a hurry.”

The two girls generously greeted Xu Yi, Ju Wuping, and Fan Xiaoyu who were standing next to them, and turned around and left while talking and laughing.

Wu Bai, the whale python, Lu Jie, the black wolf, and Lin Chong, the white-haired wind, were all present or absent. Information about the best candidates among the candidates was revealed to the three of them by Zuo Xiaotang in a low voice, leaving them busy memorizing it.

Even if you don’t encounter them in the knockout rounds, meeting them in subsequent ranking matches is enough to take advantage of them.

A loud broadcast covered the examination room: ”Candidates who have read the number, please go to the corresponding arena to assemble. Numbers 1 to 64 will assemble to the 1st arena, and 65th to 128th will gather to the 2nd arena... ”

Although the four people were issued license plates at the same time, the numbers were very different, so they could only stop the conversation and disperse.

”The Giant Money Spider Ju Wuping and the informant Fan Xiaoyu are all top-ranked people. But why have you never heard of this written reputation? Judging from what he said, it should be very powerful.”

After everyone dispersed, Zuo Xiaotang murmured to himself in confusion, the information was not important, but how could there be such a powerful person that she didn’t know about?

The fire of gossip inside her burned brightly.

…

When Xu Yi walked around and found the ring, the number of people was already complete, and a young staff member with a tag was reading out the rules of the game: ”...the opponent admits defeat, has no ability to resist, and falls outside the ring. After the referee declares the victory of the game , shall not intentionally kill or injure them again, and violators will be fined and disqualified from taking the exam for three years.”

”Next, the game begins, the first game is No. 257 XX vs. No. 320 XX!”

The three rounds of the knockout round are simple, using a simple battle format.

Xu Yi’s number plate was No. 264, and he was the eighth in line to play, which gave him a short observation time.

Wolves are the choice of many students taking college entrance exams. Most biochemically modulated wolves have the advantages of fast movement, strong endurance, and flexibility. They can be used in various situations such as reconnaissance, combat, and quick escape from the battlefield.

But its diverse uses mean that it won’t perform very well on a head-to-head competition stage like an arena competition.

The same thing is the eagle. In comparison, its reconnaissance ability is strong and it is a rare flying unit, but its combat ability is not even as good as the wolf.

This has led to the proliferation of these two kinds of biochemical beasts, but there are only a few who are truly powerful in using these two kinds of biochemical beasts.

The same was true for Xu Yi’s opponent. The red fur of the powerful giant wolf flashed with flames from time to time, but the opponent was already timid when he saw the huge ice bear being led out.

When the giant flame wolf was spinning around the ice bear, it was hit in the left leg by Xu Yi’s condensed ice radiation, and then was slapped directly to the ground by two bears.

The bear’s paws covered with frost also effectively blocked the backlash of the power of fire from the giant wolf. Xu Yi easily won the first game.

Xu Yi, who was dismissed, had more time to observe. When he heard the name of No. 312 Jingyang, he was slightly startled. This name was a name that Xu Yi had seen when he was choosing the advent body. Now it should be In the hands of a sophomore senior.

In this first knockout match, there are eight places that can be won. I am not so unlucky to meet him, right?

The second opponent’s biochemical beast is an iron-skeletal eagle, and the opponent can cast a metal flying needle condensed by radiation that can transform between reality and reality, which is really difficult to deal with.

Xu Yi constantly used the ice bear with tough fur as a barrier to avoid the two attacks. Finally, relying on the weak freezing effect of the large-scale cold radiation, the ice bear got a chance.

The two bear paws covered with ice closed together and held the iron-skeleton eagle in his hands. Then, the ice bear placed it under its buttocks. After a layer of ice covered its buttocks, it sat down hard!

No matter how iron-clad this iron-skinned eagle is, it will not be able to stand upright even when it sits down.

After seeing the ice bear’s cruel behavior, the other party was so frightened that he quickly gave in.

This second victory, although it took a little longer, was still a victory.

The games didn’t take very long, and the second round of only sixteen games ended very quickly.

”The eliminated candidates are asked to leave the examination room as soon as possible and do not linger around.”

The crowd around the ring was quickly dispersed. The match ended too quickly, and many people seemed to have not recovered from the disbelief of failure.

”The third round begins. The first match is between No. 264 Zhang Chengwen and No. 312 Jing Yang!”

No way, what a coincidence! Xu Yi smiled bitterly. Murphy’s Law is probably also a rule. What you fear will come true. You still can’t avoid fighting.

One of the two will fail the big exam this year. Xu Yi will naturally not give in.

Regardless of whether the other party recognized him or not, he casually arched his hands and began to fight seriously.

This sophomore senior controlled a floating earth crocodile, whose ability is very similar to that of an ice bear.

The ice bear can cover any part of its body with a thick layer of solid ice, while the floating earth crocodile is surrounded by thick earth power that can be continuously replenished as its own defense.

The senior student didn’t know whether he didn’t recognize Zhang Chengwen or didn’t intend to recognize him at all. The short-tailed floating earth crocodile pounced out fiercely, opened its mouth to the maximum, and suddenly bit down!

The ice shattered, and the ice debris scattered all over the ground. It turned out that the ice bear, under Xu Yi’s exquisite control, pressed its upper and lower jaws with both hands.

The two behemoths used their arm strength and bite force to start a well-matched wrestling match!
