Earth's Greatest Magus

As Emery completed his session with Dillion, the dwindling light outside signaled the onset of night. Undeterred by the hour, Emery wasted no time in preparing a fresh batch of concoction within the now-vacant cauldron. The room was infused with the faint scent of herbs and alchemical ingredients, creating an atmosphere of focused industry.

Observing Emery’s relentless dedication, Klea entered the room, her expression marked with “Perhaps you should continue this tomorrow?” she suggested..

Emery shook his head resolutely. “No, these first-years shouldn’t require as much time. A few hours should suffice.”

Klea hesitated for a moment, as if wanting to say something, but ultimately complied with Emery’s request, calling forth the next acolyte to receive treatment.

For the first-year acolytes, Emery had meticulously prepared the simpler [Earth Body Cleansing] treatment. This concoction, though less complex than the previous one, still required precise preparation to ensure its efficacy. Emery swiftly measured out the necessary ingredients, his movements were methodical and precise.

As the mixture simmered in the cauldron, emitting a soothing herbal aroma, Emery called forth two first-years simultaneously.

The first duo to undergo the treatment comprised King Rig and Ha Ron. Despite being in the hall for over a week, neither had yet experienced Emery’s “magic pool” treatment. Given its minimal risk, Emery decided to conduct simultaneous check-ups on both acolytes, with one entering the cauldron while he examined the other.

Emery swiftly performed thorough examinations on each acolyte, assessing their physical condition and spirit core with precision. Within just 20 minutes, he completed the process, and the two emerged from the treatment with renewed vitality.

Ha Ron, in particular, experienced a significant breakthrough, advancing from rank 7 to rank 8 in a remarkable display of progress. The effects of the treatment were evident in their strengthened aura and heightened energy.

The treatment had a profound impact on Ha Ron, elevating him almost an entire rank with an impressive margin of 10 battles. His advancement showcased not only his potential but also the resilience he had developed through his challenging upbringing. Emery couldn’t help but marvel at Ha Ron’s determination and grit, forged through a life filled with adversity.

Conversely, Kingrig’s treatment showcased the untapped potential that lay dormant within him, elevated his aptitude to the S level. Despite not having faced the same level of hardship as Ha Ron, Kingrig possessed an innate talent waiting to be unleashed.

Reflecting on their diverse backgrounds, Emery pondered the trajectory of their growth over the next three years. Ha Ron, with his resilience and perseverance, had already shown remarkable progress, while Kingrig’s newfound potential hinted at even greater heights yet to be reached. Emery couldn’t help but wonder how their experiences would shape them as they continued their journey within the academy.

Emery proceeded to elucidate the importance of laying strong foundations, which was why he refrained from administering the [Sky Tempering] treatment. He emphasized the value of spending time in the origin stones facility, stressing its benefits.

Turning to Kingrig, Emery engaged in a discussion about the path the young acolyte wished to pursue. He outlined the options available to him, highlighting the potential of becoming a dual magus proficient in both lightning and darkness, or alternatively, focusing solely on his mastery of lightning, where his natural aptitude lay. Emery’s guidance aimed to help Kingrig make an informed decision about his future path within the realm of magic.

While Ha Ron’s options seemed more limited, Emery cautioned him against underestimating the importance of a solid spirit foundation, even for a swordsman.

He then distributed [High-grade spirit potions] to each of them, a potent aid to enhance their training endeavors. Emery made a mental note to monitor their progress closely in the coming week, eager to witness the impact of their efforts. As Ha Ron and Kingrig departed, Emery pondered the possibility of accelerating their growth by bolstering their foundation in darkness through the Khaos space. However, he refrained from rushing their development, preferring to observe their progress in both strength and character before considering such advanced methods.

The next pair of freshman acolytes to undergo treatment were the two centurions. Emery approached their sessions with the same care and attention, ensuring that both emerged from the cauldron feeling revitalized and rejuvenated.

[Titus]

[18 years old]

[Battle Power: 80 (84)]

[Fist Strength: 12.650 kg]

[Armenius]

[Speed: 235 m/s]

[Spirit Force: 420(441)]

[Aptitude: B 74 %]

[Ice Spirit – High foundation]

[Acolyte Rank: 8]

The outcomes for the two centurions were somewhat expected. Unlike Ha Ron or Kingrig, Titus and Armenius had received proper guidance and nurturing from Julian and Klea during their time on Earth. As a result, the treatment didn’t yield as dramatic of an effect on them. However, upon closer examination, Emery discovered that both possessed above-

average mental aptitude.

Titus exhibited exceptional control, displaying a remarkable ability to manage his spiritual energies with precision. Armenius, on the other hand, showcased remarkable fortitude, demonstrating resilience and endurance. Emery made a mental note to observe their progress further, recognizing the potential for prosperous development in both acolytes.

There were four other freshman acolytes who had stats comparable to the centurions. With all the A-aptitude acolytes already poached by other halls, these four fell into the B-

aptitude range—72%, 71%, and two at 70%. Despite their average stats and talent, Emery still gave them his utmost attention. Read Web Novels Online Free – NovelFire Novel Fire – novelfire.net

Each of them emerged from the room with gratitude, having been given the [High-grade spirit potions] to consume.

Before addressing the three half-bloods, Emery attended to another freshman acolyte, Hardy, the Kaleos noble who came with special privilege. Emery couldn’t help but have high hopes for the young man.

However, those hopes were quickly dashed when he saw the results:

“…. rank 4…”

This was one of the lowest sets of stats in the academy records.
