At The Beginning, The Global Physical Fitness Drops By A Hundred Times

Chapter 59 Queue-Jumping IncidentThe next morning, Ye Xingchen, who was taking a nap in the office, soon received a call from his younger brother Shi Wenbin.

”Hello? Wenbin, are you out? Is the air outside still fresh?”

Ye Xingchen joked with a smile.

”Brother Ye, something happened to the old man!”

”What?” Ye Xingchen was suddenly startled, ”What happened to my dad?”

”The old man accidentally fell down just now. He probably injured the cartilage of his heel. Come to Yunhe City Hospital quickly. We will take the old man there right now!”

”Okay, okay!” Ye Xingchen quickly stood up, then took the car keys and ran out of the office, ”Calculating the distance, I should be the first to arrive. I will go to the hospital to register first. You guys come here quickly!”

”OK!”

After Ye Xingchen hung up the phone, he quickly sent a WeChat message to Qin Yanran asking for leave, and then went straight to Yunhe City Hospital.

When Ye Xingchen arrived at Yunhe City Hospital, he realized that there seemed to be a lot of people in the hospital today. Almost all of the ten windows were overcrowded.

Ye Xingchen sighed helplessly and could only stay in line at the back.

Fortunately, although the window includes various services such as registration, payment, and receipt of documents, the speed is still relatively fast.

In less than ten minutes, there were only five people in front of Ye Xingchen.

At this time, Ye Xingchen glanced at his phone, and Wenbin sent a WeChat message. It would take more than ten minutes for the group to arrive at the hospital.

”Any kind-hearted person, please, can you give me priority? My mother was accidentally injured. The old man is in a lot of pain. Seeing the pain on her face, she is simply suffering. Can any kind-hearted person give me priority? May I jump in line? Thank you!”

It was also when Ye Xingchen was reading messages on his mobile phone that a middle-aged woman walked to the front of the team crying and looked at the people in front of the team, including Ye Xingchen, with a pleading look on her face.

Hearing the middle-aged woman’s plea, the five people in front of Ye Xingchen quickly turned their heads and shrank their necks, pretending not to hear the middle-aged woman’s plea for help.

Ye Xingchen couldn’t help but frown slightly.

This hospital is too inhumane. Rules are dead, but people are alive!

The old man is injured and in so much pain, why can’t we give him priority? Or maybe we don’t need to register at all and just get treatment first?

Thinking of this, Ye Xingchen glanced at the people behind him: ”That... street, how about... you line up in front of me! Brothers, it is really not easy for the elderly, so let this eldest sister take priority! There is only one Man, it’s quick!”

Ye Xingchen thought that the people behind him wouldn’t have any objections, but he didn’t expect that as soon as he finished speaking, people kept raising objections.

”Why? Why do you want to be such a good person and keep such a good name? She didn’t just jump in your queue, she jumped in all of our queues! We all did good things together, why do you stay alone? Good name?”

”That’s right! Her mother is injured and is in a hurry. Isn’t it urgent when my child has a high fever? Why is it that I am waiting in line here honestly, but she can jump in the queue unscrupulously? Who knows if what she said is true or she just doesn’t want to wait in line. An excuse?”

”If she is allowed to jump in line, what if another one comes later and wants to jump in line? Wouldn’t it mean that this has set a precedent and there will be no end to it?”

When the middle-aged woman heard this, she almost knelt on the ground: ”No, no, no... you are all good people. I am begging you. My mother is really hurt. If I lie to you, I will be struck by lightning!” I would appreciate all of you!”

Everyone didn’t buy what the middle-aged woman said, but because of their reputation and the middle-aged woman’s poisonous oath, although they were unhappy, they didn’t say anything anymore.

”Sister, hurry...here!”

Ye Xingchen smiled and quickly pointed in front of him, signaling the middle-aged woman to go to the front.

”Hey...what are you doing? Who asked you to jump in line? Did I agree?”

A young man who had been pretending to play with his mobile phone suddenly became unhappy. He put his mobile phone in his pocket and stared at the middle-aged woman with a fierce look on his face.

”That...this handsome guy...I...”

”What are you? I know you very well?” The young man interrupted the middle-aged woman, then turned to look at Ye Xingchen behind him, ”Who are you? Who do you think you are? If you say you want to jump in line, let me. Cutting in line? You are so majestic!”

Ye Xingchen frowned slightly and explained patiently: ”Brother, this eldest sister...”

”Who is your brother? Don’t you understand the rules of queuing? Once you leave the queue, you can’t go back to your previous position! If you want someone to jump in the queue, you have to go out and vacate your spot! Do you understand? You are also in your twenties. You are 20 years old and you don’t know the rules. How can you hang out outside?”

”That’s right! Why are you pretending to be a good person? If you really want to do good things, give up your position to others!”

”Hypocrisy! Don’t pretend to be a good person if you don’t want to pay!”

The crowd who had been silent behind them couldn’t help but start talking again after hearing the young man’s words.

Ye Xingchen was already a little angry. He and the middle-aged woman had finally convinced the people behind him to allow the middle-aged woman to join the team, but now that the young man said this, the people behind him started to get emotional and have opinions again.

”What are you looking at? What’s your look? What’s going on? You still want to touch me? Boy, don’t say I look down on you! If you have the guts to touch me today, try it! If you touch me even a hair, I won’t even tell you to leave today. Get out of this hospital!”

The young man seemed disgusted with the way Ye Xingchen looked at him, and started to provoke Ye Xingchen very arrogantly.

Seeing the young man’s shaky look, Ye Xingchen really wanted to slap him in the face.

But Ye Xingchen considered that the middle-aged woman’s mother was still suffering, and Ye Hao was already on his way to the hospital in a hurry.

If there was a fierce conflict between myself and the young man in front of me at this juncture, it would be too much of a delay!

Moreover, what the young man said also made some sense. It was his duty to let others jump in line, and it was his duty not to let him jump in line. He had no reason to kidnap others morally.

Thinking of this, Ye Xingchen could only nod his head: ”Okay, okay, I’ll go to the back! Sister, just stand in my position! Now you have no objections, right?”

The young man curled his lips and wanted to say something else, but when he saw that the other people behind him had no objections, they kept silent in a sensible manner, assuming that they acquiesced to the middle-aged woman’s behavior of jumping in line.

The middle-aged woman kept bowing to Ye Xingchen and thanked: ”Young man, thank you, you are such a good person! You are all good people! I am so grateful to you! Good people will be rewarded, and you will all have a safe life!”

Ye Xingchen nodded and smiled at the middle-aged woman, then walked to the back of the line and continued queuing.
