Chapter 290 The Choice of Brother and Sister (for Subscription)

”Klein, so, why did you suddenly tell us this? Did something happen?”

”And didn’t you say that the church has secrecy regulations? It’s okay to tell us these?”

When Benson asked this question, his expression was quite serious, and he was vaguely worried. He was not stupid, and he was even considered smart among ordinary people. So Benson could think that Klein, who had been hiding this from them because of the confidentiality regulations since he became a Extraordinary and joined the church, must have some special reason for suddenly confessing everything.

”Don’t worry about the secrecy regulations. Telling you these is specially approved by my teacher. With his permission, it is not considered a violation for me to tell you about extraordinary things.” Klein first explained the secrecy regulations, ”As for why? There are indeed some special reasons for telling you all of this suddenly...”

He paused, considered his words, and said, ”The war may be coming.”

Compared with saying that the doomsday is still more than ten years away and the future is not peaceful, Klein decided to use the information that the war may be coming to convince Benson and Melissa.

”War?” Benson and Melissa looked at Klein in astonishment when they heard the words, obviously shocked by this news.

”Klein, where did you get this news? A war, a good war is coming, do you have any inside information?” Benson asked quickly, his tone a little anxious. Although Benson had never experienced a war, Benson But he also knows the cruelty of war, so he naturally wants to understand the situation as much as possible.

”I don’t know much about other information. This is what my teacher told me. He told me that Ruen may break out of war with other countries in the next few years. But it’s hard to say when it will be, and whether it will really break out. In fact, I’m not sure, I can only say that it’s very possible, so you’d better not talk about it casually.” Klein explained, and warned again.

It’s not that Klein doesn’t want others to get the information about the possible outbreak of war in advance to prepare. The key is that with the current situation of Loen, the people are basically unable to prepare.

It was unknown when the war broke out, it was unknown to the Warring States, and it was also unclear whether Loen was invading the other party or was being invaded.

In this case, if the information that a war may break out is spread, it’s fine if others don’t believe it. If they believe it, it will lead to disaster.

The people at the bottom cannot prepare for this situation. After all, it is hard to say whether they will survive until next month, and how can they have the ability to prepare for war a few years in advance. And once the ”rumors” about the war rise, it will almost certainly lead to a rise in prices for a period of time. This may not have much impact on those with a good standard of living, but on the bottom people who starve to death if they don’t work, or even like the previous Moretti An ordinary family like this is a complete disaster.

At that time, the invisible war may cause a group of people to starve to death first, which will do more harm than good.

In the final analysis, it is ordinary people who suffer the most from things like war... Klein sighed somewhat disappointedly.

”An inside message from your teacher? That should be true.” Although Klein said vaguely, Benson listened carefully.

If someone else had told Klein this, he might have taken it as a joke. After all, Benson really doesn’t see much sign of war breaking out in the current international situation. But since the news came from Klein’s teacher and the favor of a goddess, it is very likely to be true.

After all, it’s normal for such a big man to know some inside information that ordinary people don’t know, and Klein’s teacher didn’t need to use this kind of thing to fool Klein.

As for why his teacher was ambiguous, there are more reasons. For example, this matter involves some strategic layout of the kingdom in the future, so it needs to be kept secret.

”But, what does the outbreak of war have to do with what you told us?” Melissa frowned, apparently thinking of something, and said, ”Could it be, Klein, that you want us to join the Nighthawks like you?”

”Strictly speaking, I want you to become Extraordinary.” Klein corrected. In his heart, he actually didn’t want Benson and Melissa to become Nighthawks, even though he respected the captain and the guardians from the bottom of his heart. But Klein also understands how dangerous it is to be a Nighthawk.

The civil servants are fine, official Beyonders are almost like fighting monsters, out-of-control Beyonders, and cultists on the front line.

Klein himself doesn’t mind being a Nighthawk, he doesn’t mind fighting against evil, he doesn’t even mind fighting with Lin Ruo against the fundamentally problematic Loen royal family, he doesn’t mind being an important tool in the fight against the possible end of the world, but he still wants him The older brother and younger sister can live in peace, that one does not participate in these.

This is Klein’s selfishness.

Everyone hopes that the person they care about is safe and sound, and no one wants the person they care about to die in the line of duty every day, and Klein is naturally no exception. This is human nature.

”You mean, let us become the kind of wild Extraordinary you just said?” Melissa asked.

”Well, I really hope that you will become wild Extraordinary. The future world will not be safe. Only by becoming Extraordinary can you have more self-protection capabilities. And with me, even if you become wild Extraordinary, you don’t have to worry about being arrested by the authorities. , I will arrange for you to be an informant, which will make you much safer than other wild Beyonders.” Klein explained part of his future plans to Benson and Melissa, and continued:
”However, I don’t force you to become Extraordinary. You also know that becoming Extraordinary has certain dangers. Even Sequence Nine has the possibility of losing control... So it is up to you whether you want to become Extraordinary.”

He paused, and said solemnly: ”But whether you become Extraordinary or not, I will protect you well, I promise.”

When he said this, Klein’s gaze was firm.

Benson and Melissa looked at each other, and then the former smiled, his eyes were a little complicated, and his smile was as relieved as an old father, and said: ”Klein, you have grown up.”

”But don’t forget, I’m the older brother, and no older brother should be protected by a younger brother.” Benson said, apparently already made a decision.

He is the eldest brother of the Moretti family, and he is the one who brings up his younger siblings alone. This kind of Benson, when he knew that war might break out in the future, he had already decided to fight in the chaotic world in the future no matter what. Take care of Klein and Melissa.

So even if there is some danger in becoming an Extraordinary, he does not intend to back down.

He didn’t want to regret in the future because he didn’t have the strength in the war, and he didn’t want to become a burden that could only drag Klein down.

So Benson said: ”Klein, how to get the potion to become a Extraordinary, teach me!”

Melissa raised her hand at this time and said: ”Count me in, you have all become Extraordinary, you can’t leave me behind.”

She also didn’t want herself to be a burden to the other two.
