Lord of the Truth

Chapter 849: Gentle

*Bzzzzt*

”Hmm? What is this place?” Richard slowly opened his eyes and looked around, a completely dark place with no source of light except for a slight glow from a huge orb that was slowly rotating on its axis, and the ground below was pitch black with every step he took producing small waves in all directions as if it was covered with water

He had spent the past few hours in Robinʼs underground research room learning for some reason how to compress his soul sense to create a needle and penetrate the layers of the earth. He thought that his father was trying to teach him a way to strengthen his soul force, but suddenly he felt something pulling him strongly, and the next moment he found himself here!

*Bzzzzt*

”Haha, when I saw your head fall I knew you had arrived!” Richard heard his fatherʼs voice coming from behind him

”Who!?...Father? What happened to you? Whatʼs going on here?” Richard quickly took two steps back when he saw a huge silver colored thing approaching him quickly, but he calmed down a little when he noticed his fatherʼs features and voice.

”It seems you havenʼt noticed yet, look at your hands!” Robin laughed again.

”Hmm? This...” Richard was surprised that his hands had turned silver, and they looked small and fuzzy like the hands of a two-year-old child. Then he realized that his father did not look like a giant, but rather the small one. ”What is happening here?!”

”Haha, donʼt panic, is this your first time seeing your soul avatar?” Robin patted his silver sonʼs head several times. the whole situation was funny, a six-year-old patting another one- or two-year-old.

At this moment, the two heard a gentle voice, ”Hello, Iʼm the spirit of planet Jura, youʼll start refining me starting today, weʼll be spending a long time together so I hope you have a good sense of humor hehe.” Juri then materialized in front of them with an innocent smile on her face.

”...” Richard and Robin quickly exchanged glances.

Richard didnʼt understand what was happening around him and how to deal with the situation, while Robin didnʼt understand where this crazy bitch suddenly got her gentleness from.

Robin then shrugged and looked at his son, ”You said you wanted enough power to defend your homeland, right? Refining the planetʼs spirit will double your soul force, put the entire planet under your control, and give you a special gift that will save your life in times of danger, The gift I got from Greenland was really cool, haha!”

”....” Richard looked at his fatherʼs face for a few seconds, then bowed to his father for the first time in his life, ”I couldnʼt have asked for anything better, thank you.”

He couldnʼt find anything else to say, he had told him that he wanted to travel a little with the army but in return, he had given him an entire planet!!

Robin leaned forward slightly and kissed the little boyʼs head, ”You are my kid, the son of Planetary Emperor Robin Burton! Just one planet isnʼt enough, we will get you a few more later, alright?”

”Ahem!!?” Juri started at Robin with an angered looked but kept silent

Robin laughed and then had him turn to face the planet spirit, ”Juri, Iʼll leave the boy in your care, teach him what he needs to learn, the boy is over fifty years old but he spent most of that time locked up, or seeking revenge, he has very little information about the real world.”

A surprised expression appeared on Juriʼs face and she pointed to herself, ”Me? How would a little girl like me have any information? Iʼm just here you teach my owners how to complete their refinement and keep them company in this dark place, what do I know? I was just thinking about asking Big Brother Richard to tell me about his adventures hehe.”

”.....

Juri clapped a few times and then pulled Richard by his arm, ”Come on come on, Iʼll teach you how to start refining and you tell me about the outside world, Do we have a deal? You are already so strong at such a young age you must have been through a lot!”

”Alright!” Richard nodded and walked with her smiling, excited for what was to come.

Robin was shocked by Juriʼs actions, but her words with him before made him understand a little, so he just shrugged and ignored the two of them and started walking towards the image of Juraʼs planet.

Juri interrupted her pleasant conversation with Richard when she saw Robin still there, ”Um, this one sir there, what exactly are you doing?”

”Thereʼs something Richard needs to do when his refinement reaches 10%, with his current soul force and your help I think itʼll take a week or two at most, right? Iʼll sit here with you until itʼs done.” Robin reached the picture of the planet and started moving his finger back and forth, ”In the meantime, Iʼll check the surface of the planet a little to see if I can find something interesting, I canʼt believe an entire planet doesnʼt have anything useful!”

*Creek* Some veins started to twitch on Juriʼs forehead, ”Professor, we havenʼt started the refinement process yet but you want him to consume 10% in one go? Donʼt you see that youʼre exaggerating a bit? Thanks for bringing him here and everything, but my new owner has his own will as you know.”

”No one cares about my sonʼs strong will more than me.” Robin replied indifferently and continued what he was doing, ”Iʼll tell him what I want to do and if he doesnʼt want to do it I wonʼt pressure him, alright? Go on please, continue what youʼre doing.”

When Richard saw Juriʼs fists clitch, her veins twitch more and bit her lips, he was startled and got up to calm her down and convince her to ignore his father and that he didnʼt mean evil, only after a long time did she calm down a little but she was sending angry looks towards him every now and then.

Jabba had bought three direct observation arrays from the Burton family merchants for a very high price, Robin had destroyed one in a fit of rage a few days ago, and now he only had two

arrays left.

”Strange... Really strange...” Jabba tapped his seat as he watched the battle of the Northern Region live, ”That section of the Northern Region Army could have held out longer, and it could even be said that they were the section that suffered the least damage since the battle began due to their passive battle style. What happened to them all of a sudden that they started to retreat?”

”Humph, thereʼs nothing strange about it, our armyʼs overwhelming power would have opened a path sooner or later.” The Marshal naturally didnʼt like Jabbaʼs words, ”That arrogant bastard who named himself as King of the North thinks he can challenge the world just because heʼs accompanied by a Beast King? Thereʼs a limit to what one person can do!”
