I'm picking up pieces in the post-apocalyptic world

Chapter 29 Wild Ze Mountains

Chapter 29 Wild Ze Mountains
Later, Su Chen came to the foot of the mountain, found a place to sit down, and muttered to himself, ”Should Tan Lin and the others leave?”

Attracting the tide of zombies saved Tan Lin and the others from the crisis and bought a lot of time.

He believed that with Wu Yang’s decision, he should be on his way to King Kong City at this time.

Thinking of this, Su Chen breathed a sigh of relief.

Then, he ate something in a hurry, and when he was about to take a nap for a while, he saw a handsome boy of fourteen or fifteen years old walking towards him.

”Brother, this place is very dangerous, don’t sleep here.” Seeing Su Chen’s drowsy look, the young man reminded him.

”Dangerous?” Su Chen snorted, looked at the young man with interest, and said with a chuckle, ”Since there is danger, why do you dare to come here alone?”

Before, he had observed the surrounding area and found no danger. He didn’t know why the boy would say that.

The boy explained: ”There are often zombies wandering here. If you fall asleep, you will be in danger. I often hang around here, and as long as there are zombies, I will prepare in advance.”

Su Chen suddenly realized, and asked, ”What is this place? Is there any safe place nearby?”

After tossing all night, he just wanted to find a place to sleep well.

”This is the Huangze Mountain Range.” The boy replied, scratching his head again, ”Why don’t you go back with me, but my house is not big, so you have to leave after a while.”

”Desolate Mountain Range.” Su Chen murmured.

There is no doubt that the deserted mountain range is vast, and there are a large number of mutant beasts entrenched in its depths, while some humans live on the periphery, forming a small gathering place, which he has heard of before.

”Then thank you.” Su Chen gave a grateful expression, and a smile appeared on his tired face, ”My name is Su Chen, what’s your name?”

Now that he is exhausted physically and mentally, and there is no suitable place to rest, he plans to go back with the other party.

”Brother Chen, my name is Yang Hao.” Yang Hao replied with a smile.

Su Chen was a little lost in thought. Ever since he traveled to this world, he had never seen such a pure smile again.

At this moment, he seemed to have returned to his previous life, and a warm feeling surged in his heart.

”Brother Chen, what’s the matter with you?” Yang Hao asked strangely when he saw that Su Chen was in a daze.

”It’s nothing.” Su Chen regained his composure and coughed lightly, ”Let’s go.”

Afterwards, under the leadership of Yang Hao, the two walked and talked, and after half an hour, they entered a valley surrounded by mountains.

Su Chen narrowed his eyes and glanced around, nodded slightly, ”The environment is good, it’s like a paradise.”

The area in the valley is not very large, it can cover several hundred square meters, and a lot of food crops are planted in the open space.

At the foot of the surrounding mountains, there are more than 30 stone caves lined up, and the outside of the caves are blocked by wooden fences.

At first, Su Chen didn’t know what these caves were for, but only after listening to Yang Hao’s explanation did he understand.

It turns out that these caves are the residences of human beings, and each cave represents a family.

”Brother Chen, this is my home, I’ll take you inside to have a look.” Yang Hao pointed to a stone cave and said.

Following Yang Hao into the cave, Su Chen looked around and shook his head secretly.

This stone cave is about ten square meters at most. There are only two rough wooden beds and a few pots and pans inside, and there is nothing else.

Compared with Su Chen’s dilapidated one-story house in the Tiannan gathering place, it was much more shabby.

”Brother Chen, my sister has gone out, so hurry up and take a rest. Otherwise, when she comes back, she may not agree to let you live here.” Yang Hao said.

Su Chen nodded, lay down on a wooden bed, and closed her eyes.

Although he was deeply sleepy, he didn’t dare to really fall asleep.

After all, people in the last days are sinister, even if they think Yang Hao is good, they dare not be careless in the slightest.

After two hours of being half asleep and half awake like this, a tall, beautiful woman with long black hair walked into the cave.

It looks like he is less than 20 years old, and he looks like he is eighteen or nineteen years old.
