Global Wanted: Play as the strongest villain at the beginning

Chapter 197 The Mysterious Priest

After Xiao Midnight drove into Sequoia Town by car, he found crosses hanging on the buildings in the town.

”It seems that this town is very committed to Christianity.”

Although the small town is not big, it is quite densely populated. There are many people on the street, and the commercial atmosphere is also very strong.

There are restaurants, flower shops and grocery stores along the street.

Xiao Midnight deliberately asked the driver to drive around the gate of the Sequoia Tree Museum.

Although the Sequoia Tree Museum is located in the town, its scale is not smaller than museums in other cities. It looks like a church from the outside.

What Xiao Midnight did not expect was that Xiao Midnight wanted to use the god-level brain to enter the museum, but the god-level brain was blocked by some kind of force.

And that kind of power actually wants to attack Xiao Midnight’s mental power.

Xiao Midnight did not get entangled with that force, but withdrew his spiritual power and left.

When Xiao Midnight’s car drove away, a man wearing a priest’s clothes suddenly appeared at the gate of the Sequoia Tree Museum, looking around like an eagle.

”Strange, just now I clearly felt that someone used spiritual power to explore the museum, and now that power has disappeared.”

”I hope it won’t be those guys from the blood race.”

The priest saw that there was no abnormality outside and returned to the museum.

On the other side, Xiao came to a hotel in the middle of the night.

When checking in, Xiao Midnight pretended to be a tourist, looked at a cross curiously and asked, ”There are crosses everywhere in your town, very religious.”

The front desk clerk of the hotel was a young woman, perhaps because Xiao Midnight was handsome and she was very talkative.

”No, we hang the cross to prevent the blood race from making trouble.”

Xiao Midnight looked at the waiter suspiciously and asked, ”Strigoi? Is it a vampire?”

The front desk clerk nodded and shook his head, then looked around for no one, and whispered to Xiao Midnight: ”The vampires are similar to vampires, and they are said to be a kind of devil against the Holy See.”

”It is said that our town was attacked by blood races 100 years ago, and the Holy See sent twelve paladins to drive those blood races away.”

”Then the missionaries of the Holy See asked the people in the town to hang crosses all over the town, saying that in this way the blood race would not dare to approach.”

”Of course, this is just a legend. I have never seen a blood race before.”

”If you want to know the legend of the year, you can go to the museum, where there are materials about the war a hundred years ago.”

Xiao Midnight nodded, and only then did he understand what was going on.

At the same time, he became interested in the blood race that the front desk clerk mentioned.

Xiao Midnight, the ghost servant and the driver each share a room.

The ghost servant knows how powerful Xiao Midnight is now.

So I opened a room with confidence.

In the past, ghost servants shared a room with Xiao Midnight, of course they were all suites.

Now at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, Xiao Midnight, after they went out for lunch, they rushed to the museum.

Xiao Midnight also wanted to see what happened here a hundred years ago.

The Sequoia Tree Museum opens daily at 10 a.m. and stays open until 5 p.m.

Xiao Midnight checked the time, and they still had two hours to go shopping.

The driver parked the car at the entrance of the museum, and Xiao Midnight and the ghost servant got out of the car and walked towards the entrance of the museum.

There is a long flight of steps in front of the museum.

For some reason, Xiao Midnight felt a mysterious force staring at him as soon as he stepped up the steps.

Xiao Midnight looked slightly at the ghost servant.

The ghost servant nodded slightly, indicating that he also felt something strange.

”It seems that this museum is not simple.”

Xiao midnight and they walked to the gate of the museum.

Although the museum is big, there are not many people in it.

This season happens to be the low season for tourism.

If it is the peak tourist season, there will be a lot of people in the museum.

After all, people who can come to Sequoia Town for tourism are basically free.

There is nothing interesting in Sequoia Town, the only thing that can attract tourists are the crosses and museums.

Because of the power in the museum, Xiao Midnight did not release his spiritual power.

There is no reception in the museum, and tourists just look at it casually.

Xiao Midnight and the ghost servant looked at the exhibits in the museum, most of which were related to the Holy See.

Especially the murals in the museum.

The murals record the war that year.

From the murals, one can see a vampire-like creature with a mouth full of fangs, but compared with the elegant vampires in the novel, those creatures are much uglier.

Bald head, stooped body, very long hands with sharp nails on the fingertips.

On the contrary, in the murals, the people of the Holy See are handsome and majestic, like a god descending from the earth.

Seeing such a strong contrast, Xiao Midnight said softly: ”It seems that the contents of these murals are full of water.”

Those murals obviously have a strong sense of irony.

Xiao Midnight looked at those murals, and saw those blood races rushing into a small town and massacring the people in the town.

At this time, twelve knights in golden armor appeared and killed all the vampires in the town.

The blood clan outside the town fled in a hurry, a priest chanted scriptures from the Bible, and the sun shrouded the town.

The residents of the small town slowly changed from fear to laughter.

Xiao Midnight looked at the priest in the mural, and narrowed his eyes slightly.

I saw the priest wearing a ring on his finger.

The ring is inlaid with an aqua blue gemstone.

That gem is exactly the water elemental gem.

Xiao Midnight looked at those exhibits again, and those exhibits were basically exhibits left over from that war.

Among them was the head of a mummy, which looked very similar to the vampire in the mural.

Xiao Midnight took a closer look, then moved his eyebrows, and said softly, ”It turned out to be true.”

”Did that war really exist? There really are such strange creatures in the world.”

At this time, a very peaceful voice sounded, saying: ”There are many unknown existences in this world, and blood race is just one of them.”

Although Xiao Midnight did not activate the god-level brain, he condensed the essence nucleus, and his perception ability was much stronger.

Within [-] meters, Xiao Midnight could find something approaching him even without using a god-level brain.

Xiao Midnight turned around and saw a middle-aged priest standing behind him.

And that middle-aged priest is the one who sensed Xiao Midnight’s god-level brain.

The priest looked at Xiao Midnight and smiled and asked, ”Are you two Chinese?”

Xiao Midnight looked at the priest and asked, ”How did you guess that we are Chinese?”

The priest looked at Xiao Midnight with a smile on his face and said: ”Some time ago, I felt a mysterious spiritual power appearing in the museum. I followed that mysterious power and felt that the power came from China.”

”Today I felt that mysterious power again. I don’t know why the two of you are so interested in this museum.”
