Global Wanted: Play as the strongest villain at the beginning

Chapter 148 The Cursed Town

Many of the contestants on the World’s Most Wanted live-streamed reality show know Xiao Midnight.

After all, Xiao Midnight’s popularity has always been at the top of the list.

They all knew that Xiao Midnight was very ruthless, but they didn’t expect Xiao Midnight to be able to kill a werewolf.

Many people saw the werewolf who came to town yesterday.

After seeing the reactions of many people, the mayor guessed that Xiao Midnight should not be easy.

At this time, the mayor looked at Xiao Midnight and said, ”If you can kill a werewolf, you are a warrior.”

With that said, the mayor took out a dagger similar to the silver dagger in Xiao Midnight’s hand and handed it to Xiao Midnight.

”This short sword is called the Warrior’s Sword, and only those who have killed a werewolf will have it.”

After the mayor finished speaking, he handed the dagger to Xiao Midnight.

When Xiao Midnight looked at the mayor and was just about to say something, a ’ding’ sounded in his head.

[Host, this sword contains the element of thunder! 】

Xiao Midnight reached out and took the silver dagger after listening to it.

I saw exquisite patterns engraved on the silver dagger, and a wolf’s head was engraved on the hilt.

The short sword looks very delicate and heavy.

It was much heavier than the dagger he was holding just now.

After Xiao Midnight took over the warrior’s dagger, he returned the dagger in his hand to the person who brought him.

At this moment, Xiao Midnight turned his head to look at the mayor and asked, ”What’s going on with those werewolves?”

The mayor shook his head and said, ”It’s a long story.”

”Our town is cursed.”

After the other contestants heard the mayor’s words, they also fell silent, listening to the mayor’s story about their town and werewolves.

This thing started 1000 years ago.

At that time, their town was very lively, and merchants often came to the town for trade.

Their town is mainly based on the breeding industry, and merchants will come to purchase some animal fur.

One day, a merchant happened to see people in the town beat back a wolf.

The businessman thought that the wolf’s fur was very good, so he bought the wolf’s skin at a high price.

At that time, there were many wolves around the town, and the livestock that were often raised were eaten by wolves.

When the people in the town saw how valuable the wolf skins were, they started thinking about wolves. They could just take the opportunity to wipe out the wolves, and their breeding industry would be more prosperous.

As more and more wolves were killed, the people in their town also made a small fortune from the wolf skins.

Of course, there are also many voices of opposition in the town.

They believe that wolves are spiritual, and if they kill too many, they will suffer retribution.

But the people in the town had just tasted the sweetness, so how could they give up so easily.

Until one day, those opponents disappeared from the village overnight.

And since that day, not a single wolf has appeared around the town.

At that time, people in the town were puzzled, but luckily the wolves disappeared and the breeding industry developed.

So they didn’t think much of it.

Almost ten years later, a man in a town was killed by a wild animal when he went to the mountain to herd sheep.

When the body was found, the flesh and blood on the body had been bitten, and there was no human appearance at all.

Since then, people have often been attacked by wild animals.

None of those people survived, so the people in the town didn’t know what attacked them.

At that time, the people in the town did not think about the wolf.

It wasn’t until one day that a large number of werewolves rushed into the town that the people in the town knew that the wild wolf that had disappeared for more than ten years was coming to take revenge on them.

Afterwards, the surrounding grassland gradually formed into wetlands and swamps. At some point, crocodiles appeared around the town.

There have also been people who have suggested leaving town.

But the town has been cursed, anyone who wants to leave the town will be killed by werewolves.

In order to resist, the people in the town set up many traps around the town, just to prevent werewolves from attacking the town.

There is no way to develop the breeding industry, and outsiders dare not come.

In the end, the people in the town had to eat werewolf meat in order to survive.

In this way, the town has persisted until now.

After Xiao Midnight heard it, he understood why there were human flesh in the meat.

”Does the werewolf have human genes in its body?”

”Why did werewolves suddenly appear, and where did those people who disappeared go?”

Xiao Midnight always felt that those disappearing villagers seemed to be related to the appearance of werewolves.

”Mayor, do those werewolves attack the town every night?”

A contestant asked with a look of fear.

Yesterday he witnessed people in a town being killed and eaten by four werewolves.

Xiao Midnight also looked at the mayor.

He now finally knew why the mission was to escape the town.

The mayor frowned and said: ”Werewolves usually only appear on the night of the full moon, but yesterday was not a full moon. I don’t know why those werewolves broke into the town.”

Xiao Midnight guessed that the werewolves would suddenly appear because of their arrival.

The werewolf will not let it go without killing all the contestants.

”Get those werewolves played by the chaser?”

”But judging from Serena’s death, if the pursuer really did it, then the pursuer must have gone too far.”

The mayor suddenly looked at Xiao Midnight and said: ”You killed the werewolf yesterday, and the werewolf is very vengeful. If they come to attack the town again tonight, they will definitely come to you for revenge.”

After Xiao Midnight heard it, there was no reaction on his face.

”You should stay at the police station tonight. If the werewolves really come, the iron fence in the police station may save your life.”

Xiao Midnight chuckled and said, ”Thank you for your kindness, but I can’t hide what I should come to. I still want to stay at Serena’s house tonight.”

The mayor thought for a moment after hearing this, and finally nodded and said, ”I’ll have someone set up traps around Serena’s house in a while.”

”I’ll ask someone to bring you a flare gun. When the werewolf comes, you release the flare and we will come to support you.”

Xiao Midnight nodded after listening.

At this time, the contestants in the square started talking to each other.

”We can’t wait to die here, we must find a way to leave the town.”

”How to leave? Now the only way out of the town is flooded, and the water is still full of crocodiles.”

”I inquired about it yesterday, and I want to go out. The only way now is to go through the wetlands.”

”Brother, there are crocodiles in the wetland too.”

”Then what do you say? Just wait here to die?”

After Xiao Midnight heard those people’s comments, he was also thinking about the same question.

At this time, a contestant suddenly said: ”When I was drinking yesterday, I heard that there is another way out of the village, but everyone who walks that way will die!”

”They’re all dead? What do you mean?”

”It was said that he was bitten to death by a wild beast, but looking at it now, he should have been eaten by a werewolf!”

”Could it be that the road leads to the werewolf’s lair?”
