Global Shock: You Call This An Amusement Park? !

Chapter 219 Virtual reality is nothing! Change your body! (Thanks for subscribing!)The Game Developers Conference came first, and Mayer was the first to shock the world!

At the press conference, Mayer let people sit in this VR gaming seat that looks a lot like an otaku happy chair on the spot, then put on a VR headset and started driving.

Yes, drive.

Need for Speed VR version.

Then put what the player can see in the game on the big screen.

Indeed, the picture quality is perfect.

It looks like the real thing.

After the testers finished playing, they kept exclaiming, ”This is really cool! It’s like I’m really racing! The sense of speed! The sense of vibration! The real excitement brought by the picture! It’s all the same!! 35

The audience burst into applause!

However, these most high-end game lovers and peers were not too excited.

Because this is nothing but driving, no matter how real-, it is driving.

They applauded for the breakthrough of VR technology - applause.

However, the next thing was pushed up by Meyer himself.

Everyone gets up!

It is a device that looks full of science fiction, and people who know it can see it at once.

”Omnidirectional treadmill!!”

Mayer took the painting tube and introduced: ”Have you seen the number one player?””

All responded enthusiastically.

She smiled and said: ”Actually, everyone knows that the VR equipment in the movie Ready Player One has already been built, but there are some technical problems that are difficult to overcome, such as an omnidirectional treadmill, which can only run, can’t squat, can’t jump, and can’t sit. down, and it’s tiring to run...”

”For another example, the VR headset is very heavy, the bandwidth transmission is low and it is easy to freeze, and the clarity is not enough, which will cause dizziness...”

”but now!

Mayer shouted in high spirits: ”We’re all done!

The place was boiling.

She let people continue to test, the big LED screen, and at the same time released the screen that the test players saw in the game.

This time it’s a Resident Evil game.

A player standing on an omnidirectional treadmill, in addition to wearing a helmet-shaped VR headset, is also wearing a tight thermal-sensing VR clothing, with a buffer device around him to limit his range of action, but not in direct contact.

As long as the player does not run too fast suddenly, the sensitivity of the omnidirectional treadmill under his feet can ensure that he will not suddenly rush out of this range.

The people in the audience were getting more and more excited.

Because judging from the screen of the VR game, the visual effects have been called cross-generation works!

And the reaction of players when they are frightened by zombies is also very real and believable.

Every time he was frightened, the attendees below laughed out loud.

Finally, Mayer had another machine come up.

A female player also entered the game.

Two players met in the game, and in order to verify the effect of somatosensory, they walked over and hugged.

Everyone could clearly see that the white induction suits on their bodies turned red at the hugging position.

The test player took off his helmet on the spot and said excitedly: ”I feel the warmth of hugs! There is also pressure! Even... I smell her fragrance!! It’s all like real! !

At this time, everyone in the audience stood up and applauded.

Mayer walked to the middle of the stage with a smile, and pressed both hands.

After everyone was quiet, she said: ”Now, we are ready to mass-produce. Soon, the entertainment industry around the world will enter the VR era.”

Once again, thunderous applause!

In fact, VR technology is not a very difficult thing.

VR is the abbreviation of VirtualReality, which means virtual reality in Chinese, and was translated as ”spiritual technology” in the early days.

In fact, VR games have already entered the market these days, and there are many VR game experience halls in first-tier cities…

Just not very profitable.

Because it’s really not that fun.

Due to the limitation of network speed, the quality and clarity of the picture are very serious problems. Once it is done finely, people will get dizzy in 3D and have a headache after playing for a few minutes. If it is done rough, the most important thing in VR games is ”immersion”. The ”feel” and ”presence” are all gone.

In 2023, 5G networks will begin to roll out.

With the network foundation, VR has been greatly improved.

And Mayer’s Single game equipment company, just standing in the wind of the times, they have made the current top VR game equipment.

so……

Although a bit tricky.

But unsurprisingly, the era does cheer them on.

But Mayer and her friends didn’t expect it.

Far away in the Xia country, another guy who had kept a low profile for a year said something completely different from her.

 …for flowers  …

Then.

Totally, robbed Meyer of the world-class headlines he deserved!

summer country.

Soohoo News Headquarters.

Several editors-in-chief have reviewed several news articles about Single Gaming Equipment, and several have been published.

One of them asked: ”Are you sure Chinese is pushed directly to Toutiao on the front page?”

Another person replied: ”Yes, it can be held back, this is indeed big news. 99

”Yeah, their VR gear is almost certainly going to take over the market.”

”If the follow-up game company can keep up, like the scene in the number one player, it will definitely be staged soon... The virtual world is so cool! The real world is so boring! 35

0.

”Don’t say it, I want to play!

”Hey, didn’t someone say that some local tyrants have already bought it and tried it. It is said that it is not so good. At best, the body feels a little hot, and the helmet is still sore after a long time, and it is still heavy...”

”I’m going, the local tyrants must have high requirements! I think these shortcomings are completely tolerable!”

”Yeah, can you find anything more fun than this? I’ve been craving VR for too long anyway...”

”Okay, then make a headline!”

Suddenly a reckless female editor rushed in, ”Wait! 35

Several people raised their heads at the same time: ”What’s up!”

She rushed in: ”The editor-in-chief told you guys to see this!! Then opened a short video on PAD.

They leaned over together.

”What?”

”Douyin?”

”Uh, isn’t this Qin Yi?! He’s finally bubbling again!

They watched for a while, and Qin Yi said:

”I want to play a realistic and virtual game with everyone...”

They looked at each other: ”Is it a slip of the tongue? What is virtual reality...Virtual reality, does Qin Yi also want to develop VR equipment?

As a result, the screen moved.

He went to a warehouse that looked like a garage.

There are two things like tanning light cabins in there.

Qin Yi handed the phone to someone and said, ”Hold it for me, thank you.”

Then this camera shot was facing the two sleeping cabins motionless.

Then, Qin Yi lay in one of them for a long time.
