Chapter 713: Moonlit Sex 18+

He turned to face her and the movement shifted her nightgown up her thigh, the silk riding across her. His hand found her butt and spread across the sensational curve of it, possessive, and she hummed against his mouth.

”We should hurry,” she whispered, her eyes bright in the dark. ”The girls are light sleepers and I told the duo to be here within an hour.”

Kaiden looked at her. Her hair was mussed and her nightgown had slipped off one shoulder, the light from the window catching the curve of her waist, the swell of her hips, the fullness of her chest straining against the thin silk. She looked like a woman who had just brokered the ruin of a rival guild and wanted to be rewarded for it.

He kissed her.

Nyx’s breath caught and she melted into it, her hand tightening around him, arching into his chest. He rolled her onto her back in one smooth movement, one hand bracing beside her head and the other pushing the nightgown higher, past her hips, past the dip of her waist, until the silk bunched above her breasts and his palm found the bare warmth of her belly, where the mark of his Sinsworn Valkyrie rested.

”Kaiden,” she breathed, giggling. ”I said we should hur-”

He kissed her again, deeper, and the giggle dissolved into a sound that was softer and lower and went straight through him.

They had a few minutes. Right now, with silver light on Nyx and her thighs opening around him and her grip pulling him closer, he didn’t care about hurrying.

He entered her slowly, watching her face the entire time.

Her hands found his and laced through them. A trembling exhale escaped her and her back lifted off the sheets as she adjusted to him. Her hold on his hands tightened, squeezing hard, and he squeezed back and held still until her breathing settled and she rolled against him in a slow invitation.

They moved together.

It was the kind of lovemaking that belonged to the hours between midnight and dawn when the world shrank to two people and the space between their bodies. Her breasts rose and fell with each thrust, the low light catching the swell of them, and Kaiden watched them and watched her face and saw nothing in her eyes except him.

Her legs wrapped around his waist and her heels pressed into the small of his back, pulling him deeper, and a sound escaped her that she caught with her teeth, biting down on her lower lip to keep quiet. One hand left his and found his jaw, holding it, her thumb on his cheekbone, her gaze locked onto his.

”I love you,” she whispered, and it came out fierce, angry, like the words had been shaken loose by the rhythm of their bodies.

He pressed his forehead to hers and breathed her in, lavender and salt and the heat of exertion. She was tight around him and hot under his palms and every sound she made vibrated through his ribs.

”You know what some people call me?” she murmured between kisses.

”Mm.”

”A cuck. Because I like seeing you with other women.” A breathless little laugh escaped her lips. ”They also call me a massive sub because I always let you take the lead, that I hand you initiative because I can’t help myself.” She rolled against him and her lashes fluttered. ”And they’re right. I love it. I love letting you have me.”

She held his gaze.

”But.”

In one fluid motion, her legs tightened around his waist and her hands pushed against him and she flipped him. The bed creaked and Kaiden’s back hit the mattress. Nyx settled on top of him, her thighs on either side of his lap. Her palms pressed flat against his torso and her hair fell around both their faces, pink and wild in the low light.

She rolled once, slow and heavy, and the look on her face was the same calm confidence she’d worn on the phone with Brittany and Trisha, except softer now, lit from inside by the pleasure coursing through her.

”Sometimes,” she said, breathless, ”I want to have you all to myself. I want to be the one who takes.”

She rode him.

The light caught every movement, the rise and fall of her above him, the way her breasts swayed with each roll, the tremble in her thighs when she found the angle that made her gasp. Her hands intertwined with his, pressing him down, and she leaned forward until her pink hair curtained his face and her breath was hot on his mouth.

The ache in Kaiden’s ribs swelled past strategy and pleasure and the two A-tier fighters they’d just acquired. This woman had spent the night calling two fighters loose women to their faces and threatening to put them down, and now she was giving herself to him with a tenderness that cracked him open.

Her grip turned crushing and she tightened around him. She whispered his name in a voice that came apart at the edges, and when he felt her peak, she shuddered and pressed her forehead against his collarbone and moaned.

He followed her over a moment later, his hands breaking free of hers to grip her waist and pull her down against him. The sound he made was low and guttural, lost in her hair.

Nyx collapsed against him.

Her weight settled, heavy and real, her chest crushed against his and her breath ragged against his neck. Her arms wrapped around him and squeezed with a fierceness that was all emotion.

”I love you too much,” she whispered into his neck. ”Far too much. It’s honestly becoming a problem.”

Kaiden’s arms came around her back and held. ”It’s not a problem if you ask me... But if it is, then we’re both in deep shit.”

She laughed against him, barely a sound, just the vibration of it against his sternum. They lay there in the tangle of silk and sheets and starlight. The sky outside moved imperceptibly and the girls slept on.

For about thirty more seconds.

”Why,” came a voice from the far side of the bed, ”is this fat cow on top of my spot.”

Luna’s eyes were open. They were narrow and yellow and absolutely murderous, fixed on the back of Nyx’s head with the intensity of a predator who’d woken up to find her territory occupied.

Nyx giggled into Kaiden’s neck. She didn’t move.

”I was displaced,” Luna continued, her voice thick with sleep and outrage. ”I was removed from my rightful position and deposited next to the cat, and now the fat cow is taking up all the space with her ridiculous fat cow body.”

Nyx lifted her head just enough to look at Kaiden. Her eyes were bright and her cheeks were flushed. The smile on her face was the quietest, most satisfied thing he’d ever seen.

They held eye contact for a long moment while Luna’s complaints continued to escalate behind them, and they kissed.
