Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 830: Chapter 370: Slaying the Blood Demon Ruler (2)

His body was enveloped in a blue light, the fusion of the Power of the Sea God and the Chaos Bloodline reaching unprecedented heights.

The force surged forward like a tidal wave, directly confronting the Blood Demon Ruler.

The Blood Demon Ruler’s expression turned grim, his eyes flickering with a scarlet light as if he intended to devour David.

He suddenly swung his arms, causing the waves in the Sea of Blood to instantly surge, transforming into countless blood-red giant hands reaching for David.

Each giant hand contained endless resentment and pain, seemingly wanting to drag David into eternal darkness.

”Do you think you can contend with me with just this bit of power?”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice was thunderous, full of disdain and anger, ”In this Sea of Blood, I am the sovereign!”

David did not respond, his gaze as firm as iron.

He took a deep breath, and the power within him surged once more, the blue light piercing through the blood-red giant hands like a sharp sword.

His body traced an arc in the air, charging straight towards the Blood Demon Ruler.

”Your power is founded on fear and despair, whereas mine—”

David’s voice was like thunder, ”My power comes from an unyielding will and a longing for freedom!”

As his voice fell, David’s fist swung out violently, the Power of the Sea God and the Chaos Bloodline’s power fully merging at that moment, transforming into a brilliant pillar of light that struck directly at the Blood Demon Ruler’s chest.

The Blood Demon Ruler’s body was hit by this force, instantly knocked back, crashing heavily into the Sea of Blood.

The Sea of Blood surged as if wailing, countless spectral shadows of souls emerging from the blood, emitting heart-wrenching screams.

”Impossible!”

The Blood Demon Ruler struggled to rise from the Sea of Blood, his body starting to crumble, scarlet energy gushing out from his wounds.

”I am the ruler of this Sea of Blood, and I will never be defeated!”

David didn’t give him a chance to catch his breath, charging forward once more, his hands clasped together as the power within him condensed into a gigantic Bloodline Origin Saber.

He raised the Bloodline Origin Saber high and slashed it down violently.

”End this!” David’s voice was like judgment, ”Your reign ends here!”

The Light Saber descended, splitting the Blood Demon Ruler’s body in half, scarlet energy bursting into the air like fireworks.

The Sea of Blood began to surge violently, as if mourning the fall of its ruler.

However, just as the Blood Demon Ruler was about to completely dissipate, a strange smile curled at the corner of his mouth.

”Do you think... this will end it?”

His voice, like a ghost, echoed in David’s ears.

”The Sea of Blood... will never run dry... and you... will eventually become a part of it...”

David furrowed his brows, sensing a strange force gathering in the Sea of Blood.

Although the Blood Demon Ruler’s body was crumbling, his will seemed not to have entirely dissipated.

”This is not good!”

A sense of urgency filled David’s heart as he realized that the Blood Demon Ruler hadn’t truly died, but rather integrated his will into the Sea of Blood.

The Sea of Blood began to surge violently, countless blood-colored whirlpools forming in the air, each whirlpool revealing a hideous face.

Those faces were the incarnations of the Blood Demon Ruler, emitting piercing laughter as they lunged at David.

”You cannot escape!” The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice resounded from all directions, ”In this Sea of Blood, you will forever be with me!”

David gritted his teeth, knowing he must quickly find a way to break the impasse.

He closed his eyes, concentrating his power, attempting to resonate with the souls in the Sea of Blood.

”I will not be controlled by fear...”

David whispered to himself, ”My power comes from an unyielding will... from a longing for freedom...”

As he spoke, the souls in the Sea of Blood began to respond to his call.

The souls that were once devoured by the Blood Demon Ruler gradually awakened, their will intertwining with David’s power.

”We... are with you...” The voices of countless souls echoed in David’s ears, ”Together... break this cage...”

David suddenly opened his eyes, his body enveloped in the light of countless souls, transforming as if into a radiant meteor.

He raised his hands high, unleashing the full force within him.

The Sea of Blood began to crumble, the blood-colored whirlpools swallowed by light, and the Blood Demon Ruler’s will gradually faded in the blaze.

In the end, the Sea of Blood completely dried up, and the Blood Demon Ruler’s figure vanished entirely.

David stood upon the vast, barren Earth, with the surrounding Mist gradually dispersing, and sunlight cascading upon him.

With the drying up of the Sea of Blood and the fading of the Blood Demon Ruler’s will, a peculiar silence enveloped the entire space.

Yet, just as David thought it was all over, the Blood Demon Ruler’s voice once more echoed in the void, filled with unprecedented despair and reluctance.

”No... this is impossible...”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice seemed to come from the Abyss, deep and trembling.

”I am the ruler of this Sea of Blood... I am the sovereign of countless souls... How could I... possibly be defeated by you!”

David halted his steps, his gaze vigilantly scanning the surroundings.

He sensed a faint yet persistent energy wave, as if the Blood Demon Ruler’s consciousness had not entirely faded, clinging on in a shattered form.

”Don’t you understand yet?”

David’s voice was calm and resolute, ”Your power is built on fear and despair, but fear and despair will eventually be shattered by light and hope. Your reign is destined to be brief.”

”Light? Hope?”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice was filled with mockery and fury, ”These are mere fantasies of the weak! In this Sea of Blood, only power is eternal! Only fear can make people submit!”

David shook his head, his gaze holding a hint of pity.

”You are wrong. True power comes from an unyielding will, from a longing for freedom. And you are merely a prisoner shackled by your own fear.”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice suddenly became sharp, as if it pierced the deepest wound in his heart.

”Shut up! What do you know! I’ve endured countless ages of trials, devoured the power of countless souls! How could I... possibly be defeated by a mere mortal like you!”

David did not respond, quietly sensing the energy fluctuation around him.

He knew that the Blood Demon Ruler’s will was gradually collapsing, but his despair and unwillingness made his remaining spirit all the more dangerous.

”Do you think... you can completely eliminate me?”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice carried a manic obsession.

”As long as this Sea of Blood exists, as long as there are souls struggling in pain, I shall never disappear! I will return... I will make you pay the price!”

David’s brows furrowed slightly, sensing the Blood Demon Ruler’s remaining spirit attempting to regroup its strength.

Though the Sea of Blood had dried up, those devoured souls still struggled in agony, their resentment and despair serving as the Blood Demon Ruler’s last crutch.

”I will not let you succeed.”

David’s voice was deep and steadfast.

He raised his hand, the Power of the Sea God and the Chaos Bloodline within him surged once more, transforming into a brilliant light reaching for the sky.

The light swept through like a tide, completely engulfing the Blood Demon Ruler’s remaining spirit.

The Blood Demon Ruler let out a piercing scream, his will gradually disintegrating in the light, scattering into countless tiny specks of light, disappearing into the air.

”No... no... I’m not willing...”

The Blood Demon Ruler’s voice grew weaker and ultimately vanished.

David stood still, sensing the surrounding energy waves gradually calm, the turbulent Sea of Blood also slowly calming.

He knew that the Blood Demon Ruler’s will had been completely eradicated, and this space had finally returned to tranquility.

Yet, just as he was about to leave, the Blood Demon Ruler’s last trace of thought resonated in his ears, carrying a deep despair.

And with the disintegration of the Blood Demon Ruler’s consciousness, David could feel that he had fully mastered the world origin power of the Blood Prison World, along with another unique aura.
