Global Disaster: I Have a Cultivation Simulator

Chapter 12 Jungle Hunter

Chapter 12 Jungle Hunter
”Start the shelter plan? Isn’t it a bit too hasty.”

The old man beside Wang Sheng suddenly stood up, ”Do you know the consequences of doing this?”

”I know, but the current situation is not optimistic, I can only do this.”

Wang Sheng’s face was full of sorrow, ”Since I came to Lingqing City to now, three special cases have occurred in total.”

”Two of them were caused by mutated organisms, and the reason for one is still unknown.”

”The meteorite that fell in Lingqing City has not been found yet. I am afraid that more mutated creatures will appear in a few days. That would be dangerous.”

After hearing Wang Sheng’s words, everyone around fell into silence.

Everyone knows what he said, it’s just that no one has come forward.

If it is true that the world will return to how it was thousands of years ago after seven days, as in the ancient legend, then these strange beasts will be the greatest enemies of mankind.

The refuge can only shelter for a while, and cannot shelter humans permanently.

The key is to rely on them, the practitioners who have been passed down to this day.

Glancing at his colleagues around him, Wang Sheng strengthened his gaze and said, ”So, the start of the refuge plan is for the safety of all residents, and I will bear it alone if anything happens.”

”Yes!”

With Wang Sheng’s guarantee, everyone around answered collectively.

……

On the other side, after confirming that he would not be disturbed again, Jing Qi began to check what he had gained from this simulation.

He opened his character panel and checked his situation after this promotion.

[Host: Jing Qi]

[Cultivation level: Entry Level 2 (596/1000)]

[Cultivation method: Qingling swordsmanship (beginner)]

[Skill: Consciousness]

[Talent: Street Talent (Green), Optimism (White), Humanoid Beast (Blue), Jade Armor Skeleton (Red), Scud (Blue), Swordsman (Gold)]

[For more information, please ask the host to try to unlock it through simulation. 】

”Can you reach the next stage with only 1000 points?”

Jing Qi feels that now he can get close to 500 points of cultivation in one simulation, as long as he persists long enough, it is very likely that one simulation can improve his cultivation.

I just don’t know if more cultivation is needed after the entry stage.

As for ”Qingling swordsmanship”, he comprehended it from the talent of ”inheriting the way of the sword”, and it is very likely that he will comprehend other swordsmanship in the following simulations.

This is what Jing Qi is most looking forward to now.

After reading the character panel, Jing Qi began to sort out the useful information in the simulation.

First of all, in this simulation, I did not go to the urban area as usual, but chose to go to the back mountain.

During this expedition to the back mountain, he knew that after the catastrophe, it was full of mutant creatures and beasts.

And the black cat’s habitat is very likely to be the cave he was looking for in the back mountain.

Thinking of this, Jing Qi immediately got up and found the map of Lingqing City on the computer, and found that the virgin forest where the meteorite fell was connected to the back mountain not far from his home.

It’s just that the back mountain is an artificially circled hilltop, a place for the residents to relax and exercise, and there are no aggressive beasts in it.

”It seems that the final reason should still be in the forest.”

Jing Qi once again marked the virgin forest on the outskirts of the city as the most dangerous place.

Through the map, Jing Qi also found the city on the other side of the forest, Ximu City.

According to the scene in the simulation, after he escaped from the back mountain, he should have come to this city which is only a forest away from Lingqing City.

It’s just that at that time, this kind of city should have been destroyed by the impact of the beast tide, and most of the buildings were turned into ruins and occupied by strange beasts.

Although he found a refuge in the city later, there was no one there, presumably they were all transferred away.

As for the mysterious woman named Ningxiang he met in Ximu City later, Jing Qi still hasn’t figured out what is going on with this person.

Is it a human or a beast.

After writing all the information in the notebook, Jing Qi yawned, he was already too sleepy.

On weekdays, he would have already gone to bed at this time, after all, he had to go to work to earn money the next day.

After setting an alarm clock, Jing Qi lay on the bed and took the time to sleep.

As a result, he tossed and turned for a long time, even though he was sleepy, he still couldn’t fall asleep.

Helpless, Jing Qi could only sit up with his eyes closed, comprehending Qingling swordsmanship in his mind.

【Ding! The cooling of the simulator is over, do you want to start the simulation? 】

After an unknown amount of time, the mechanical voice sounded in Jing Qi’s mind again.

This made Jing Qi, who was immersed in Qingling swordsmanship, suddenly wake up.

”Does time go so fast?”

Looking at the alarm clock at hand, Jing Qi unexpectedly found that not only would he not be sleepy when he was immersed in the study of swordsmanship, but he would also be more energetic.

Presumably it should be the benefit brought to him by the talent of ”Heir of the Way of the Sword”.

”I hope you can give me another golden talent!”

Jing Qi prayed silently in his heart, and then started the simulation.

【Ding! The training simulator starts to simulate! 】

[The host is requested to choose one of the following talents and bring it into the simulation. 】

[Hardworking worker (green): Your energy is always strong, and you only need a small amount of rest every day to be full of energy. You are the favorite person of capitalists. 】

[Blacksmith successor (green): You are proficient in making various cold weapons, and you can become a master even with a hammer in your hand. 】

[Jungle Hunter (Green): You are familiar with various jungle environments, and you can hide from ferocious beasts through camouflage, greatly improving your survivability in the wild. 】

Looking at the three green talents, Jing Qi’s mood is also green, as uncomfortable as a stock fund plummeting.

”There is really no practical talent.”

Jing Qi sighed, and still chose ”Jungle Hunter” among the three talents.

After all, in the last simulation, he went to the back mountain and was hunted down by strange beasts in the forest.

With this talent this time, it is very likely that he will not be as miserable as last time.

As for the talent of ”hardworking worker”, it appeared a bit late for him now.

Before the simulation started, he had already found a way to have a good spirit without sleeping, so he had to give up.

As for the ”Heir of the Blacksmith”, he didn’t like it at all. He already had the Yushuang Sword in his hand, so he didn’t need ordinary cold weapons.

【Ding!Selected talent: Jungle Hunter, will be automatically brought into the simulation. 】

【Ding!Your talents: ’Street Talent’, ’Optimist’, ’Humanoid Beast’, ’Jade Armored Skeleton’, ’Scud’, ’Sword Master’ have been activated automatically. 】

[The simulation officially begins! 】

”I hope this simulation will take longer to obtain more useful information.”

Jing Qi said silently in his heart, and then started the simulation.
