Global Wasteland: I Unboxed Top Vaults (The World Is A Wasteland: I Obtained A Top Tier Shelter)

Chapter 375： Ultimate exploration, discovery of major strategic resources!
Above the boundless wilderness, most of the ice and water that were still covered with yesterday have disappeared at this moment, replaced by plants everywhere.

And those ice cubes and water have not completely disappeared. They have gathered in lower-lying places, becoming small ponds, small lakes, and even water bodies with wider water surfaces.

Looking down from above, these water surfaces are like huge mirrors reflecting the blue sky. Those reddish-brown and yellow-green plants, like a huge mottled carpet, dominated the field of vision.

”Here, it really looks like the earth...”

Looking at the wasteland, hills and water on the ground, Lin Yue couldn’t help but think of the beauty of the grasslands he had seen when he was on earth.

In this other world, I didn’t expect to see such a scene.

However, there are no cattle or sheep here, and some are mutant creatures that are like small black spots, wandering around on this ”carpet”.

Moreover, the number seems to be quite staggering.

”Quack.” Xiaobai let out a low roar, and his flaming pupils stared at the mutated creatures on the ground, which were more numerous than usual, and seemed to have a layer of concern.

Indeed, it is only a few dozen kilometers away from the sanctuary, and there are so many mutant creatures living. Will they pose a threat?

”Don’t worry, it’s just the number.” Lin Yue comforted his little friend. Compared with this, he was more worried about the problem of opening low-level treasure chests and vomiting.

Lin Yue looked around again, the scenery still remained the same, and there was nothing worth noting.

The direction of the two giant creatures is obviously this way.

According to the previous laws of natural sulfur ore mountains and saltpeter mines, there should be a huge mine at the center of the original activity range of giant creatures.

And this mine is what the system calls a ”resource point”.

Whether it is natural sulfur ore or saltpeter ore, it is an extremely important resource. It can allow survivors to master techniques such as gunpowder in the early stage, and even show their skills in previous disasters.

However, so far, he has found nothing.

But then again, it seems that only the first bull-carrying snake dragon can spew poisonous gas and give people a high fever or something. The giant creatures after that are all very ordinary, but they are relatively large, with rough skin and thick flesh.

Looking at the ground of the wasteland, the distribution of the wild poisonous British grass has become sparse, and Lin Yue still does not understand why this is so.

At that time, his high fever seemed like a dream.

However, he was not alone in this dream.

In the previous group and later on the World Channel, many people have said this. Even in the wasteland, the owner of the mysterious diary, the uncle Wang at home, and himself all had the experience of having a fever, but the uncle Wang died, and that person was still alive.

But speaking, the high fever that time was too outrageous.

Sudden onset, suddenly burns the person to the point of confusion, and then quickly drains the person’s physical strength, making people weak to the point of impossibility.

Then the high fever went away like it never had.

The whole process is quite magical.

At that time, he had seen countless seeds of wild poisonous British grass on the giant creature, the ox snake dragon, and he had also guessed whether it was after eating the natural sulfur ore and the wild poisonous British grass. The poisonous gas added to make people instantly high fever or something.

But this is just his guess, not entirely correct.

After all, he later learned from the chat records of the World Channel that this is not the only case on the wasteland.

In other places, there were similar ”high fever” situations, and some people did not survive and died, but many people survived.

Among them, there are indeed people like Lily Karahao, Kasbah and others.

So is his previous guess still correct? Lin Yue doesn’t have any more evidence and information now, so he can only believe it to be true for the time being.

”Quack?” At this time, Xiaobai suddenly made a sound, interrupting his thinking.

”What’s wrong?” Lin Yue found that Xiaobai’s flying altitude was decreasing, and his speed became much smoother.

After a while, Xiaobai landed on the ground. After Lin Yue jumped from his back to the ground, he suddenly found that dozens of mutant creatures he had never seen before had already surrounded him from a distance!

”Good guy, it’s quite aggressive!”

Lin Yue had no intention to observe what these things looked like. He put on the armor and exoskeleton as quickly as possible. When he just picked up the sniper rifle, the mutated creatures who were screaming had already rushed to a distance of only 100 meters. Xiaobai also rushed out at this time!

With a mix of growls and whines, bumps and bites, the surroundings calmed down again.

Xiaobai flicked his tail and threw the blood off his arm, and the violent low roar gradually subsided.

Lin Yue looked around at the corpses of twenty-three mutant creatures lying on the ground, turned around and glanced at Xiaobai again, and couldn’t help but admire secretly in his heart.

Xiaobai’s combat power can now be instantaneous, can these mutant creatures of the size and size of a rhino be eliminated in seconds?

Just as he sighed, Xiao Bai had already pulled over the corpses of all the mutant creatures and turned them into a small pile.

The monsters on the ground, each one looks extremely heavy, they all have scales like snakes, but they are black. The head is similar to that of a dog, and there are a pair of long horns that are turned out on the head, the eyes are red, and the mouth full of fangs looks quite scary.

”Unfortunately, I can’t eat it.” Lin Yue identified it and found that the evaluation of the meat of the mutant creature named ”Dorusda” was ”difficult to swallow”, and the scales did not seem to be too hard. is no longer useful.

Lin Yue finally put away their heads and corners, and took away all the corpses.

Although it’s useless, the corpse is buried in the soil to rot, and it can still attract some small bugs.

Let the little ice lizards open these wooden treasure chests, just right.

”Quack.” Xiaobai roared again, as if reminding Lin Yue of something.

”What’s wrong?” Lin Yue didn’t hear any crisis coming in his voice, he turned his head to look in the direction Xiaobai’s arm was pointing, and suddenly saw a ”river”!

He trotted over quickly and ran towards the river with the sticky yellow-black ”river water”. After reaching the front, he couldn’t help but take a deep breath!

”This is... wait, is this...”

【crude】

crude!

The systematic identification quickly told Lin Yue what a remarkable thing he had found!

”It’s really crude oil!”

Lin Yue looked at the extremely slow flowing black river in front of him, and felt an unprecedented joy and excitement!

Is this actually crude oil, a river of oil?

It is also the ”River of Energy”!

Oil can be said to be the blood of the earth’s modern industry and the basis for a living. It is the so-called ”liquid gold”! Controlling oil means development and means money.

It can even be said that it is one of the most important factors that can affect the foundation of a local economy!

Today’s science and technology are also built on the basis of oil. Whether it is industrial production or daily life, oil is inseparable.

Primary oil, that is, crude oil, can be further refined to produce gasoline, kerosene and diesel oil, and heavy oil can continue to be refined to produce asphalt, fuel oil, lubricating oil, paraffin, solvent gasoline, etc.

It also produces organic compounds, which can be transformed into various chemical fibers, vinyl, plastic products, paints, and various detergents through various processes, affecting all aspects of life.

It is so important, and it is also a precious energy that all forces on the earth want to get. It can be said that oil is a major strategy that can determine almost everything before various new energy sources have been greatly developed and matured in application. resource!

”To be able to discover oil... my dear, am I going to take off?”

Lin Yue was still excited at the moment, this seemed to be the first time.

With oil, then you don’t need to go to others to exchange your various energy needs in the future...

wrong.

”It’s no use if you have oil without mining and refining machines.”

Lin Yue’s mind quickly calmed down.

Before it can be refined, crude oil is just crude oil. If it is dead, it can be used as combustion material. If you want to make other things...

It seems that all I can think about is.

So, high-precision research bench tubes don’t work?

Lin Yue took one unit of crude oil and touched it to a high-precision research workbench.

However…

Nothing happened.

The workbench doesn’t even give any indication, whether it’s disintegration, or anything else.

Presumably...the inability to decompose this natural mineral?

The same is true when trying to decompose natural sulfur. Some natural sulfur ore has some gypsum attached to it, and the workbench cannot separate it.

It seems that this trick is not enough, we have to find another way.

He quickly searched the world trading platform, but found nothing about it.

As for the survival point platform, the same is true. The survival point still can’t buy anything good, but his survival point yesterday reached almost 60,000, which is scary and useless.

Well, it seems that there are only two paths left.

The first is to find a way to get high-level treasure chests, and the number of them should be large, and then open a wave with a white face to see if you can open something that can help in oil extraction and refining.

The second is to search in the secret realm, try your luck to find out whether it is possible to find oil and gas fields, etc., and then take a decomposed design of the various equipment there, or directly carry it back and study it slowly.

weakness is…

The odds are really low.

The odds of getting certain goodies from high-level chests, especially oil extractors and smelters, are impressive.

After all, it is not a specified explosion rate, there is no so-called prize pool or the like, it is very random.

It may be possible to open it right away, or it may not be able to open a hundred.

As for going to the secret realm to find...

Even more unlikely.

The oil extraction machines and smelters that have not been maintained for 50 years, I don’t know how much can be preserved, and let alone the integrity of the preservation, it is extremely impossible to just find them.

Regardless of whether it is an ordinary ancient secret gate or a special secret ancient gate, the location leading to the earth is extremely random.

And judging from the rule of going in and out of the secret realm so many times, there is hardly a time when it is not a city or town with more humans.

The only one that is special is the small island with the airstrip, but other than the airport, there is no trace of any industrial facilities on the island.

It seems that there is a deadlock.

Lin Yue shook his head.

Before taking further action, the most he can do is to enclose and protect this oil storage area as his own private property first.

With this mentality, Lin Yue went against the oil river to its source area, wanting to see what the oil was flowing out of.

Indeed, it is really good to be able to see this kind of resource, but there is no way to mine and refine it, so it is useless to say anything.

Soon, Lin Yue and Xiao Bai stepped on the weeds that had almost touched their ankles, and walked forward to the vicinity where the crude oil was pouring out.

Many parts of the surface here have been polluted by black crude oil, causing some places to become barren. Moreover, there is a small lake of about several thousand square meters near the source, but the lake water is clear and transparent, and there are still some black Hu’s shadow seems to be moving.

Lin Yue bypassed the shore of the small lake and finally found the place where the crude oil was pouring out.

It was like a torn opening, a huge crack of seven or eight meters long. I don’t know why the crude oil erupted outward. Although the flow rate is not fast, this ”oil river” has flowed nearly two hundred meters. Well...

”Huh? What is that?” Lin Yue suddenly noticed that on the side of the huge crack, a yellow and black thing that was almost completely submerged in the oil river attracted his attention.

”Quack?” Xiaobai looked at the Shiyou River, then at the master, after thinking about it, he suddenly grabbed him, put him in his arms and flew!

Xiaobai quickly made a low-altitude dive and rushed towards the yellow and black thing!

Lin Yue understood Xiao Bai’s thoughts instantly, he took out the excellent iron spear, and soon, with the crisp sound of ”dang” metal hitting, Lin Yue also found that there was an appearance in his storage space. Got a huge thing!

But when Xiaobai landed, when Lin Yue looked over there again, he found that a huge pothole had been sunk there, and the crude oil next to it was pouring into it all the time.

At this time, when he looked at the things in the storage space again, he couldn’t help but be shocked.

”It’s actually a giant medium-sized machine? The name is... an oil extraction and refining platform?”

Stepping through the iron shoes, there is nowhere to find it, and it takes no effort to get it!

Lin Yue took Xiaobai to a relatively flat and spacious place and stepped back a little, and then excitedly took this huge thing out of the storage space!

Soon, a huge metal machine with a rather sci-fi appearance, but painted in yellow and black, revealed its true appearance!

”My dear, this shape is completely different from the impression? I was in the oil river just now, and I didn’t realize it was so huge!”

Lin Yue couldn’t help but admire this large machine that was more than ten meters high, with a radius of more than ten meters, and a huge boom.

But praise to praise, Lin Yue has never seen such a machine that can’t say anything, but it should definitely not be an oil extraction machine or a smelting machine.

But if it works well...

【Petroleum extraction and refining platform (damaged)】

Well, you know it’s bad.

However, it is enough to decompose it into a design drawing, right?
