Dou Po: I married my wife Xun Er, but she refused to consummate the marriage!

116: Refining three thousand flames of fire! Four-star Dou Zun!”Child, are you confident you can refine it?”

In the ancient hall, Gu Lie asked with concern after learning of Gu Fei’s intention.

Gu Xiong, a Dou Sheng expert of the Gu Clan standing beside Gu Lie, also frowned.

It was he who had helped Gu Fei suppress the Three Thousand Burning Flame that day, allowing him to bring it back.

He had personally witnessed the power of the Three Thousand Burning Flame and knew how formidable it was; even ordinary Dou Zun experts couldn’t shake the Three Thousand Burning Flame.

”Before refining, you must think clearly. The Three Thousand Burning Flame is not like the other strange fires you’ve refined before. The strongest of those strange fires were only at the Dou Zong level, but the Three Thousand Burning Flame is a genuine high-tier Dou Zun!”

Gu Xiong reminded Gu Fei, but Gu Fei smiled slightly, full of confidence.

”Don’t worry! Since I dare to do it, I have the confidence to subdue it!”

Seeing Gu Fei’s confident smile, Gu Lie and the others said no more. After reminding Gu Fei to be careful again, they prepared to deal with the strange fire.

Next, Gu Xiong released the Three Thousand Burning Flame, and the wild fire-attribute energy instantly spread throughout the entire hall space.

The imprisoned Three Thousand Burning Flame was incredibly furious and originally wanted to cause destruction.

However, with a large number of Dou Sheng experts present, the Three Thousand Burning Flame felt a wave of despair upon sensing the powerful pressure emanating from Gu Lie and the others.

”Go ahead, just don’t kill it!”

Next, several Dou Sheng experts attacked simultaneously, and the Three Thousand Burning Flame was instantly beaten like a worm, without any Dragon might.

After they severely wounded the Three Thousand Burning Flame, Gu Fei was ready to make his move!

He threw the jade bottle Zi Yan had given him, hitting the Three Thousand Burning Flame on its forehead.

As the dark golden blood from the jade bottle touched the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s forehead, its body instantly stiffened, and the light in its eyes became dull at that moment.

At the same time, a strange rune, faintly discernible, emerged on its forehead. The appearance of that rune was exactly the same as the Dragon Seal on Gu Fei’s palm!

”It really is the Dragon Seal!”

Gu Fei murmured in his heart.

A searing sensation spread through his palm.

Gu Fei raised his hand, and the spot where Zi Yan had bestowed the Dragon Seal upon him emitted a dazzling golden light, which resonated with the Three Thousand Burning Flame.

”Bang bang bang!”

A thunderous sound echoed in Gu Fei’s mind. He was astonished to find that the power of the Three Thousand Burning Flame had actually invaded his mind.

Looking down at the Dragon Seal on his hand again, he immediately understood what was happening.

The effect of the Dragon Seal was mutual; he used the Dragon Seal to control the Three Thousand Burning Flame.

Similarly, the Three Thousand Burning Flame could also use its Dragon Seal to control him.

What invaded Gu Fei’s mind was precisely the Soul Power of the Three Thousand Burning Flame; it wanted to turn Gu Fei into its Puppet!

”A battle of Souls? Let’s see if you have what it takes!”

Gu Fei activated his Soul Power to attack the Three Thousand Burning Flame, which again enveloped itself in purple-black flames, roaring madly.

On Gu Fei’s side, the temperature of the Dragon Seal in his palm grew higher. Suddenly, he felt a momentary daze, and the next second, he appeared in an unfamiliar space filled with black flames.

Here, the Three Thousand Burning Flame transformed into a giant Dragon made entirely of purple-black flames. The giant Dragon breathed, and scorching airflow rushed towards Gu Fei, constantly depleting his Soul Power.

Seeing this, Gu Fei quickly activated his strange fire to erect a strange fire barrier, isolating the hot breath.

Clearly, the Three Thousand Burning Flame intended to crush his Soul here.

”You beast, surrender obediently!”

”Roar! Roar! Roar!”

Hearing Gu Fei’s contemptuous address, the Three Thousand Burning Flame roared furiously, and boiling magma flames surged up in the space, completely covering the sky above Gu Fei.

Facing the surging flames, Gu Fei’s eyes also grew a few shades more serious at this moment.

He fused his strange fire into his Soul, and a strange fire barrier completely isolated the purple-black sea of fire.

As the sea of fire continuously impacted the strange fire barrier, ripples spread across the barrier.

Gu Fei stood within it, and the strange ground beneath his feet continuously shook under the churning of the Three Thousand Burning Flame, but Gu Fei’s figure remained unmoving.

Seeing that this couldn’t faze Gu Fei, the Three Thousand Burning Flame coiled and rose into the air, flames condensing in its Dragon mouth. The originally purple-black flames became as dark as night.

”Roar!”

Once the flames had condensed, the Three Thousand Burning Flame aimed at Gu Fei’s strange fire barrier and spewed out a black pillar of fire, like a collapsing sky-pillar, shooting towards Gu Fei.

Gu Fei’s strange fire barrier was almost instantly devoured by the pillar of fire, and the air itself became twisted and distorted as the pillar of fire passed through.

The pillar of fire continued to spray for almost half an incense stick’s time. The Three Thousand Burning Flame felt this wasn’t enough. The pillar of fire vanished, and it suddenly plummeted, then abruptly twisted its body mid-air, lashing out its Dragon tail towards Gu Fei’s location.

The already unstable space completely shattered under this tail lash, revealing patches of void.

But the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s tail didn’t hit anything!

”You beast, have you had enough? It’s my turn!”

Gu Fei’s voice suddenly rang out above the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s head. The moment the Three Thousand Burning Flame spewed out the pillar of fire, he had vanished from his original spot and appeared behind the Three Thousand Burning Flame.

The Three Thousand Burning Flame was already severely wounded and had now consumed some more power, making this the best time for him to strike!

”Get down!”

Gu Fei roared, and his palm, imbued with a Dragon’s roar, transformed by Soul Power, became even larger than the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s Dragon body.

He swung his hand, and his palm directly slapped the Three Thousand Burning Flame, pinning it to the ground.

”If you were in your prime, I might be wary, but now, you are too weak!”

”Rise!”

Gu Fei shouted, and a towering sea of fire surged up in the space.

In the blink of an eye, Gu Fei appeared before the Three Thousand Burning Flame, pouring all his profound Soul Power into the Dragon Seal in his palm.

Seeing this, the Three Thousand Burning Flame was greatly alarmed.

Its body violently shook, and it actually split into countless small fire Dragons that rushed towards Gu Fei.

Alas, it was already too late.

Gu Fei extended his hand, inscribed with the Dragon Seal. Golden light erupted from the Dragon Seal, instantly devouring all the small fire Dragons that rushed towards him.

It even pulled the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s main body directly in front of Gu Fei.

Gu Fei grabbed the Three Thousand Burning Flame. The Dragon Seal emitted a low Dragon roar, shattering the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s illusionary form, revealing its original flame appearance. Its sentience was completely erased at this moment.

”Don’t worry, following me won’t disgrace your name on the strange fire ranking list.”

Gu Fei murmured softly to himself.

Then, he opened his mouth and swallowed the purple-black fire Dragon into his belly.

As the Origin fire entered his body, a searing heat quietly spread from within. Gu Fei quickly sat down cross-legged.

This time, refining the Three Thousand Burning Flame took a full three months.

When Gu Fei emerged from seclusion, his cultivation had directly soared to Four-Star Dou Zun.

”Four-Star Dou Zun...”

”Devouring strange fire actually has such an effect. In three months, to go from newly entering Two-Star Dou Zun to Four-Star is truly astonishing...”

Seeing this scene, the Gu Clan elders who had been guarding Gu Fei while he refined the Three Thousand Burning Flame all looked surprised.
