Chapter 2325  Searching for the Absolute Power

”Huh? You didnʼt give me such an ability?” Tian Yang wore a dumbfounded look on his face after hearing this. ”But thatʼs what Zaaran said.”

”I donʼt care what Zaaran said! That bastard is too stupid to think because if he could, then he would know that I have no such powers! In fact, the only Eternal with the ability to weaken another Eternalʼs influence is the Absolute Being!” Shura responded. ”Now! Explain to me why you think you have such power!” he urged.

Tian Yang nodded and proceeded to explain what happened with Kulas—how Kulas would fall sick when he left, and how Zaaranʼs influence would weaken whenever he was nearby.

”HAHAHAHA!”

Shura burst out laughing after learning everything, his loud voice shaking the starry sky and Tian Yangʼs very soul.

”Tian Yang, you little bastard! Not have you already come across the Absolute Power, but you have likely even come into contact with it!” Shura revealed loudly, unable to contain his excitement.

”What?! I donʼt remember doing such a thing!” Tian Yang exclaimed. ”Are you sure itʼs not a misunderstanding?”

”No, I am certain. I just checked your body for my power, but as expected, itʼs not there. My power inside your body has been extinguished by the Absolute Beingʼs power! That, or my power never even reached you!”

”Try to retrace your steps! Do you remember coming into contact with anything otherworldly?”

Tian Yang closed his eyes and recalled his entire life. Yet, he was unable to find anything like that.

”No, but since I donʼt know what the Absolute Power looks like, thereʼs no way for me to really know.”

Shura sighed, ”I would look through your memories myself, but with the Absolute Power shielding you, I wonʼt be able to do such a thing. But this is still a great thing, since we know that youʼve come across it before, so it will only be a matter of time before we find it.”

Tian Yang could see Shuraʼs massive silhouette trembling with immense excitement.

Seeing this, he couldnʼt help but wonder if he could take the Absolute Beingʼs powers for himself. That way, he would finally have the power to fight back these Eternals. However, he also wasnʼt sure if he could even acquire such unfathomable power as a mortal.

The Eternals wouldnʼt use mortals to find the Absolute Power if the mortals even had a slight chance of obtaining it for themselves, after all.

”So, what now?” Tian Yang asked.

”What…? Iʼm not sure, since this changes everything.” Shura said. ”Youʼre likely the closest being to finding the Absolute Power right now, so I will give you my full support. Once you find it and I acquire it, I will grant you any wish you want. With the Absolute Beingʼs power, literally anything is possible.”

Tian Yang suddenly realized something and said, ”If you take the Absolute Power… will our world still be safe from the Eternals?”

”...”

After a moment of silence, Shura spoke, ”The Absolute Beingʼs influence will probably linger for some more time, but it will definitely disappear eventually. However, without the Absolute Power, the Eternals will no longer have a reason to bother you. I can also promise to continue protecting your world with the power.”

”Okay,” Tian Yang nodded.

Of course, he didnʼt completely trust Shura even at this point. In fact, he was still thinking about acquiring the power for himself.

”Anyway, you need to retrace your steps. Return to every place that youʼve been to,” Shura then said. ”I also want you to contact me at every location. If I donʼt respond to you, then itʼs because youʼre near the Absolute Beingʼs power.”

”I will do just that then.”

”I would grant you more powers to assist you, but as long as you are influenced by the Absolute Beingʼs powers, we, Eternals, wonʼt be able to influence you. Until next time, my fateful little friend.”

Shura ended their connection at that point.

After Tian Yang returned to his world, he wanted to immediately start looking for the Absolute Power. However, he couldnʼt just disappear without a word. Jing Ruye was in seclusion as well, so he couldnʼt rely on her.

Instead of waiting for them to emerge from their cultivation, Tian Yang wrote on the ground with a sword, telling them that he will be out for some time.

Once he was done, Tian Yang left his personal world and began retracing his steps.

However, because of the situation at Giantʼs Continent, he had no choice but to skip that place as well.

”If I am going to retrace my steps, I might as well start from the very beginning.”

With that thought in mind, Tian Yang returned to his origin—in the small village that heʼd grown up in with Meng Lili.

However, since itʼd been over a hundred thousand years since he left, when he returned, the village was no longer what he remembered. In fact, it had completely vanished from the face of the earth.

After taking a moment to reminisce his memories of Meng Lili, Tian Yang contacted Shura.

A few minutes later, Shura responded to his call.

”I am in the village where I grew up after my parents abandoned me. This is where I will be starting my search for the Absolute Beingʼs power,” he revealed to Shura.

”I understand.”

Shura ended the connection immediately, leaving no room for conversation.

Now that heʼd confirmed the Absolute Power wasnʼt present at his village, Tian Yang traveled to his next destination, the Immortal Monastery.

ʼNow that I think about it, I havenʼt returned to the Immortal Monastery ever since that incident…ʼ Tian Yang thought to himself as he hovered before the Immortal Monastery.

Although the Immortal Monastery was completely different from the one in his memories since they had to rebuild after a certain incident, at least it was still there, and it even appeared to be doing even better than before it was nearly destroyed by the Immortal Clans.
