Chapter 2229  Forbidden Void Treasures

”The Eternals are the creators of natural treasures? Youʼve got to be kidding me…” Yuan mumbled in a bewildered voice after learning this information from Shiva.

”Most people believe treasures are creations of the Heavens,” Shiva continued, her tone laced with mockery. ”But thatʼs merely a delusion born from their ignorance of the unknown. Honestly, itʼs quite hilarious.”

Xiao Cangming then said, ”But I have witnessed treasures materializing out of thin air with my very eyes. It usually happens in places where spiritual energy is abundant.”

”Sorry to disappoint you, but that is also not ʼnaturalʼ. As for how itʼs achieved… Itʼs a little complicated, so Iʼll save myself the trouble.”

Yuan then spoke, ”I couldnʼt care less how itʼs done. I want to know why. I highly doubt the Eternals are putting these treasures in our world for fun.”

Shiva smiled faintly and said, ”Then you underestimate how unbearably bored we become. We Eternals have existed since the dawn of time—you canʼt even begin to fathom how many ages weʼve spent drifting alone in the void.”

”That said, Iʼm sure not every Eternal is doing it just for fun. Some probably donʼt want to waste their effort or just want their toys to be used.”

”What about cursed treasures?” Li Zhenwu asked. ”Those that possess great power but also carry dangerous backlashes.”

”Anything that you humans didnʼt create was created by Eternals.” Yuan then spoke with a mocking tone. ”In that case, we humans arenʼt far behind—and some of us might even surpass the Eternals in craftsmanship, considering how some of those natural treasures are complete trash.”

”Hahaha!” Shiva suddenly burst out laughing.

Moments later, she stopped and said, ”How naive. Most of the treasures were made trash on purpose.”

”Why would they do something like that?” Xiao Meilin asked.

”Due to the absolute power, our influence in this world is heavily restricted, and that includes our creations. If we created treasures too powerful, they wouldnʼt be able to enter this world.”

”Wait a second…” Yuan suddenly spoke up. ”Are you referring to the Forbidden Void Treasures?”

”What are Forbidden Void Treasures?” Xiao Chen asked with a puzzled look on his face.

”There existed treasures born from the Starry Sky—found drifting within the endless void,” Yuan explained. ”However, no matter the method, these treasures could never be brought back to the Nine Heavens, as though some unseen force forbade their entry into our world. That is why they came to be known as Forbidden Void Treasures.”

”I have never heard of such a thing until today,” Xiao Cangming remarked, and he considered himself very knowledgeable.

”Me neither,” Xiao Meilin said.

”Well, they werenʼt discovered until after the Immortal Monarchʼs Era came to an end,” he said.

”That explains it.”

”Anyway, you said my Sacred Chalice of Purification is broken? How can I fix it?”

”Fix it? You donʼt have that capability.” Shiva said while shaking her head.

”I may not look like it, but I know a thing or two about crafting treasures,” said Yuan.

”So what? Even if youʼre the best craftsman in the world, you wonʼt compare to an Eternal.”

”So itʼs a matter of technique.”

”At least you get it.”

Yuan may have been the God of Creation in the past with god-like abilities, but thereʼs a vast difference between god-like and truly godly skills. Not only that, but Eternals likely had their own crafting methods, so regardless of Yuanʼs abilities, he wouldnʼt be able to fix the treasures created by them until he acquired their techniques.

”Then do you have any suggestions?” Yuan then asked.

”Who knows? Maybe I do, maybe I donʼt. Iʼll consider it if you ask me nicely.”

Yuan sighed, ”If I had known you would be this useless, I wouldnʼt have agreed to letting you follow me.”

Shiva frowned at his obvious provocation and said, ”What an odd way of asking nicely.”

Yuan silently shrugged.

After a moment of silence, Shiva spoke, ”If you do something for me, Iʼll not only tell you how to restore that toy, but also teach you how we Eternals craft treasures.”

”What are you scheming?” Yuan narrowed his eyes at her, clearly suspicious of whatever she was thinking.

”I know of an Eternal who was sealed in this world even before me, and heʼs very proficient when it comes to crafting. If you help me unseal him, Iʼll persuade him to teach you his techniques.”

”Interesting,” said Yuan. ”Can you tell me your relationship with this Eternal?”

”...”

”Heʼs something akin to a mentor to me.”

”Do you know where heʼs being sealed?”

”I do.”

Yuan pondered her offer for a moment before responding, ”Let me speak with him first. If I deem him to be a threat, I wonʼt unseal him.”

”Fine by me.” Shiva nodded. ”Iʼll give you more details after we leave this place.”

”Sure.”

Yuan returned to talking about the Primordial Realm with the Asura Clan shortly after.

”At the end of the day, as long as the Celestial Emperor is our enemy and the peopleʼs exile brand remains, they wonʼt be able to live peacefully even if they leave this world, so we can only wait until after we deal with these two issues,” said Yuan.

Xiao Cangming nodded, ”There are also a lot of other things that we must consider.”

Some time later, Yuan asked them, ”Now then, are you all ready to leave the Primordial Realm?”

”I have been waiting for this moment since I was born,” said Xiao Chen, his face full of excitement.

Yuan nodded.

”Then weʼll leave in a week. If you need more time to pack your things, let me know.”

Yuan retrieved a handful of spatial rings and placed them on the table.

”You can use these.”

”Thank you.”

Once everyone in the Asura Clan had a spatial ring, they left to pack their belongings.

However, Xiao Hua stayed behind since she had nothing to pack.

”Yuan, I have a question,” Xiao Hua suddenly spoke to him.

”What is it?”

”Once we leave the Primordial Realm… will I still be able to follow you? Or am I going to have to stay with my family?” she asked.
