The richest man starts with black technology

Chapter 342
Sure enough, Zhou Xiao looked carefully and saw that there was half a little finger on an integrated port of the motherboard next to the chip. The nail cap was similar to the size of a capacitor, which was a DNA hard disk.

How about the performance of this hard disk?

Mo Li began to test.

DNA is displayed on the large screen. The reading, writing and copying speed of the hard disk reaches 43803mbs!

This speed is quite terrible.

You should know that the reading and writing speed of the mainstream SSD is only 500mbs. This speed can exchange data with the CPU, which is the main reason why Mo Li said that it can be used as memory after improvement in the future.

Around Mo Li, the computer and network technicians of the United Laboratory said: ”this is not the maximum reading and writing speed of the DNA hard disk. This speed is mainly limited by the speed of the motherboard and memory. We use Kingston ddr4-3200, 8gx2 memory module. The maximum reading and writing replication speed of the memory module is only 44803mbs.”

The technician was quite proud when he said this.

Because the measured speed is not the maximum speed of DNA hard disk, this speed is subject to the speed of memory.

Computer confidence is attenuated from CPU to memory, from memory to DNA hard disk.

It’s terrible to be able to reach this speed with attenuation!

This means that when users use the computer to turn on all memory, it is seconds, which means that the performance of the device will be greatly improved.

The most exaggerated is still behind.

Mo Li said, ”Xiaoyuan, open the device management and tell you what the capacity of the DNA hard disk is?”

”Yes, master.” After Xiaoyuan promised, the capacity of DNA hard disk - 1eb was displayed on the big screen.

It means 1024tb!

This quantity directly increases the quantity that the current device can store by an order of magnitude.

At present, the data storage capacity of ordinary personal computers is mostly about 1TB to 2TB, and the data stored on mobile devices such as mobile phones is very small, most of which are between 128GB and 512gb, of which 512gb is very few.

Large capacity means that users can do more things, take more photos, record more videos, download more applications without deleting them.

In addition, high-capacity hard disks are also a blessing for the server industry, which means that personal cloud disks and cloud computers can be truly realized without worrying about high costs and high energy consumption.

This is the greatest blessing for tassel mobile phones.

When using high-speed 4G, 5g or linked WiFi, the tassel mobile phone can turn on the cloud computer mode.

In this way, the mobile phone in the user’s hand is just a terminal display, and all the calculations and applications that the user wants to run are in the cloud.

The performance of the cloud server can become a high-performance computer, and the performance of this computer will be far stronger than the strongest mobile phone in the world at this stage.

Biological storage technology is also conducive to the development of wearable devices in the future.

Wearable devices are now mostly ancillary products of mobile phones, which rely heavily on mobile phones and have no independence.

If the memory volume is small and the storage content is large, it is definitely a leap forward for the development of wearable devices.

In addition, the development of biological storage devices is also a curve to save the weak semiconductor industry in Xia.

It is not a world-class problem that enterprises in Xiaguo can do solid state drives.

However, compared with western enterprises, there is still a large technical gap in the technology of solid state drives in Xia enterprises. The speed is not as fast as others, and the yield is not high.

The biological storage technology of the origin group has fast reading and writing speed. In addition to using the DNA storage technology as a hard disk, the corresponding technical improvements can also be used as a memory.

In the memory field, Xia Guo also has its own domestic memory companies, but most of these companies do not have their own core R & D capabilities. Most of them recycle used memory modules, collect memory particles, recycle them, or directly import memory particles from Western memory companies and assemble them themselves.

This memory module is not insufficient, mainly to see if you will overturn.

In fact, this technology also has great limitations, because the memory modules you develop and sell depend heavily on the obsolete products in the market, or Western companies export memory particles to you.

In previous years, when the semiconductor factories in the West were exposed to fire, or when the raw materials were insufficient and the prices rose, the international memory market, especially the memory market in Xia country, would be greatly affected.

Many computer enthusiasts hoard memory in advance and can also get rich.

In some cases, memory is more valuable than gold.

Today, the origin group has changed this situation.

Directly beyond semiconductor technology, into biotechnology, and technology is more powerful!

Zhou Xiao can fully imagine how much sensation this technology will cause to the whole Internet world if it is released.

And for example, it is absolutely considerable.

When Jiang Dong called Zhou Xiao to express his concern about the mobile phone press conference of other mobile phone manufacturers in the second half of the year, Zhou Xiao told him to use a better camera for his new mobile phone.

To compete with powerful storage.

1eb stock, the user is to download all the films in station P, and there is still a surplus.

Young users like games, and more male users like movies.

At that time, it depends on whether users like game phones or large capacity mobile phones that can store countless films.

Moreover, the tassel mobile phone has officially opened the cloud computer function, so there is absolutely no rival in the market!

Seeing such test results, Zhou Xiao is very satisfied. The experimental results have met Zhou Xiao’s requirements.

The biological information storage task of the system has stagnated for more than half a year. Today, it has finally made a breakthrough.

The task progress bar will slowly start to update with the market.

But the task is far from over, and DNA storage technology is far from ready for commercial use.

Since Yu Jiangdong is waiting for his big move, Zhou Xiao must give Yu Jiangdong a big move.

Zhou Xiao said to Mo Li, ”give your team a little more time. I want not only biological hard disk technology (EROM), but also biological memory technology (eram). Only when these two technologies are developed can I sit in the office and lose money.”

Mo Li is also very excited about the future!

She promised: ”although the two have different technical standards, they have the same principle. We need to adjust the operation mode and storage mode. It is expected that there will be results soon.”

”I’m looking forward to what the Kirin 710f looks like with such a high-end storage and memory model,” Zhou Xiao said

When the people saw that the boss was still holding Kirin 710f, they couldn’t help laughing and crying.

But there’s no way. Our chip technology is backward.
