The Age of Giant Ships and Cannons

Chapter 160： to harvest
Chapter 160 Harvest

In addition, there are 20 groups of engineers specializing in the construction of various transport ships, industrial ships, maintenance ships and other civilian ships.

In addition, there are senior crew members who can configure two large branch fleets and common crew members of the Clone Shatars.

”what a pity!”

Talent is talent, but he can’t use it.

Except for the ten battleship chief engineers who can be transformed into servants of light and continue to use them, the others are useless.

According to the appearance of the Shata people, there is a high probability that they will end up badly after being conquered in the future. Even if they are not extinct, they will disarm all their weapons, use genetic technology to adjust the quality of their meat, and raise them in captivity to become food animals.

It’s not scare, it’s real.

In the course of the development of human civilization, many civilizations have been conquered, but now there are not many alien civilizations in the sphere of human influence.

They were raised in captivity when they were born, they were not allowed to receive any knowledge, and they were not allowed to speak since childhood. Over time, they naturally forgot their own civilization and knowledge, and civilization was cut off. The IQ of the new generation will gradually degenerate. After genetic technology adjustment The human body will also slowly degenerate, and gradually become no different from animals. At most, they used to be intelligent creatures, which are smarter and better domesticated than ordinary beasts.

The cold universe, beautiful and cruel.

Between civilization and civilization, in order to survive, there is only one life and death. Although it is not as completely extreme as the dark forest, the difference is not big.

There is absolutely no day of peaceful coexistence between different civilizations, even two civilizations that are exactly the same.

If human beings encounter a second human civilization that looks exactly like themselves in the human universe, the first reaction is definitely not curiosity, but vigilance.

It is absolutely impossible for two identical species to appear in the universe. If there are two identical species, there are only two possibilities.

One possibility is that they used to have the same origin, for example, two civilizations originated from the same birthplace, but one walked out of the planet first.

Or the civilization was once destroyed, and both branches were developed by the fish that slipped through the net of the destroyed civilization. For example, if the United Empire of Mankind is destroyed and a large number of humans escape, if these escaped humans can escape the pursuit and re-develop on the other side of the starry sky, This is also homologous.

Another possibility is a little bit of extreme anxiety.

As we all know, there are three mainstream ascension routes in the universe, mind is better than matter, spiritual ascension; flesh and blood is weak, mechanical ascension; design evolution, genetic ascension.

When genetic technology reaches a certain level, you can use genetic technology to design your own genes, strengthen your body, change your appearance or shape, etc., or use genetic technology to forcibly create a creature, create a new species, and so on.

It is not surprising to redesign a species by imitating a certain race, or if you are not satisfied with the appearance of your own species, and use genetic design to transform the appearance design of your own species into another satisfactory species.

Or some genetic ascension masters can directly upgrade a dog through genetic technology, from physical body to intellectual level.

Change from a dog to a kobold, and then turn a kobold into a tiger head, dinosaur, elephant, etc., as long as your genetic modification technology is good enough, you can do it.

So redesigning a race into a species that is exactly the same as a certain race is a small KISS for those genetic masters. They prefer to make artificial legendary creatures, artificial Leviathans.

Having said that, it is precisely because he can imagine how miserable the fate of the Shata people will be that he dare not use these Shata talents, at most, he dares to use them only after turning them into servants of light.

When turned into a servant of light, from the body to the mind, and then the will is distorted, in fact, it has nothing to do with the Shata people.

The number of Servants of Attune of Light is too small, only one per month and twelve per year. There is no way to retain too many talents, only these ten chief engineers of battleships can be retained.

Unknowingly, more than half a month has passed, and the giant shipyard has been split into the universe in the palm, and many Shar slaves have also been put away. After counting, there are about 31.08 million, which is an annoyance that the entire income of the warehouse area is the same as that of the previous Shar. People meet, and the former Shar people will do the ideological work.

After more than half a month, except for the occasional small fleet jumping in for reconnaissance, no enemy came. On the contrary, on the 21st, Crimson and the Horn of Liberty and three other large teams assembled a team except for none. The fleet of conventional warships other than the flagship rushed over and was preparing to attack the Shata III galaxy, which was only seven jumps away.

They also discovered the Garan Legion that was plundering Shata No. 5. Gu Shenzhou sent someone to ask him if he wanted to send a fleet there, but Li Qing refused.

The garrison over there is not much different from that of the giant shipyard. It is not a problem to capture it with the strength of a joint team, but it will definitely not be so easy.

Although he didn’t go there, Li Qing was still very concerned about the battle situation there. He wanted to see if the battle situation over there was deadlocked, and the capital of the southern province of Shata, which was only one jump away, would send reinforcements.

Not sending the combined fleet to destroy this garrison can also relieve the pressure for yourself. If you send reinforcements over, the pressure will be reduced when you enter the reef lair later.

These days, they don’t stay in this galaxy every day. The small ships and occasional small fleets sent out to scout around have almost touched the galaxy near the reef lair.

Ever since he knew that he had a Titan super-flag and three flagships here, and found out their strength through the garrison here, the division-level fleet stationed in the capital of the southern province stayed there, and it seemed that they wanted to defend to the death. capital.

Li Qing never thought of seduce tactics, it is useless, the opponent will definitely not come out, so he can only attack by force.

The looting was about the same. On this day, Li Qing finally ordered the fleet to move to the MK471 galaxy.

It is the crossroads galaxy, from there is the Shata-3 galaxy to the north, the Shata-5 galaxy to the south, the Human Expeditionary Force to the west, and the six galaxies to the east are the Reef Lair, the capital of the southern province of the Shata Civilization.

It is very strange that this critical intersection galaxy has no defenders and is empty.

However, looking at the entire star map, it is not uncommon for there to be no defenders.

From their point of view, this is a key intersection, but from the perspective of the Shata civilization, it is just an ordinary intersection. There are routes from other locations to the capital galaxy. There are only two key intersections in the entire southern province. , one is the Cuerta Fortress galaxy, and the other is behind the capital galaxy, the Locke Fortress at the junction between the southern province and another province within the Shata civilization.

There is a key intersection, and there is a crack extending from the interference zone. Not only is the difficulty of the transition soaring, but the hyperspace channels of the surrounding galaxies are also broken. The remaining hyperspace channels are just connected to this critical intersection galaxy. The source’s transition strength bonus, under normal circumstances, even the flagship is difficult to directly transition over.

The Shata civilization established a fortress galaxy in that galaxy, and there are two full division-level fleets stationed there all year round.

This is also one of the risks that Li Qing considered. If there is support from there, although the environment is limited and he cannot directly jump over there, if he is prepared, he can reach the Reef Lair Galaxy in about a week.

That is to say, he must completely defeat the defenders in the reef lair within a week, and then block the support from the fortress galaxy.

Up to now, Li Qing has guessed some unreasonable places in the Shata civilization. Why the central government does not directly support it? The high probability is that the southern province belongs to the sphere of influence of one of the eight tribes in Shata, and the central government belongs to another tribe. Although these tribes have jointly formed a powerful civilization, they are not of the same tribe after all, and the union is not very close, so everyone is still wary of each other.

The possibility of this guess is very high. If they are all of the same race, they can sweep out the expeditionary army with some support.

Li Qing felt that the root cause of this kind of thinking error was that the joint civilization of the Shata tribe did not know how strong human civilization is. It is estimated that the human civilization in their eyes is at most as strong as the Yu clan located in Jinmen. They probably thought that Jinmen The Menyu clan is human civilization.

If this is used as a reference, the strength of the Jinmen Yu clan is definitely not as good as that of the entire Shata tribe. In addition, the main force of the Shata civilization is now fighting with the Sivis Council on the other side. The Shata does not want to fight on three sides. It is not impossible for people to abandon the southern provinces strategically.

After all, it’s just giving up one of the tribes. There are eight tribes in Shata, and if one other tribe is missing, they can get more benefits.

In the Shata-3 galaxy, there is a huge barren planet suspended in an orbit more than 100 million kilometers away from the main sequence star. In addition to two satellites, there are hundreds of habitation stations in the orbit of the planet. There are tens of billions of Shata people living in this huge residential complex.

On the planet, there is a huge industrial base, and densely packed civilian ships are shuttling back and forth between the residential station groups, transporting a large number of civilians away.

In the void, millions of kilometers away from the residential station group, two extremely large fleets were engaged in a fierce exchange of fire. One after another, beams of energy lighted up and down, and from time to time the flames of battleship explosions rose and lit up the void.

After less than an hour of fighting, the United Fleet, which has an advantage in ship capacity, has already gained the upper hand.

If there are no accidents, victory is inevitable. The difference lies in when the enemy collapses and how much you lose.

”Bing Feng, the fleet you are leading is slowly leaving the battlefield. They will definitely find a way to escape. I need you to listen to the order to intercept it later.”

The interim commander-in-chief of the United Fleet, Gu Shenzhou, is closely watching the ever-changing battlefield, constantly issuing various orders:

”Blade, did you see the mark I sent you? If you pass the intercepted signal, there is a high probability that it is one of the enemy’s command flagships. I need you to sink it at any cost.”

”Tianji, in the latest news I am sending you now, keep an eye on the movement of all blue-marked enemy ships. If there is no abnormality, you continue to execute tactics. If there is an abnormality, intercept it immediately.”

”Everyone, the enemy has fallen into a disadvantage, so follow my order to entangle them. The victory must be ours. This galaxy has tens of billions of people and a huge amount of supplies. As long as we capture it, we can make a fortune. No matter how big it was before All losses can be recovered.”

When Li Qing’s fleet came over, the battle had already entered a fierce state. The isolated and helpless defenders fought a desperate battle with the United Fleet, and the battle was quite fierce.

The void is full of burning and smoking wreckage of warships, and a large number of rescue pods are floating among the wreckages. The defenders have suffered heavy losses but are still stubbornly resisting.

A normal fleet will waver when it loses more than 30%, and it is close to collapse when it loses more than 50%. Very few elites can last longer, but they will definitely not be able to fight to the death like in myths and novels, unless they have special His talent can make his subordinates not fear life and death.

If the same faction is fighting normally, one of the sides has already started to flee or seek peace according to the current battle loss rate.

But now it’s a battle between civilizations, and there’s no talk of surrender.

Once unable to escape, the only option is to fight to the death.

Li Qing himself did not participate in the battle, but sent Li Qi and Li Lie to lead their fleets around the back to prepare to intercept them.

Without a flagship, the battle would last for a very long time. Even with an absolute advantage, it took the combined fleet eight hours to defeat the opponent, and it took even longer to clear the defeated troops.

Li Qing was not in a hurry, and waited for them to wipe out all the routs before leading the fleet to approach the huge residential station group in the center of the galaxy.

During the communication, Li Qing looked at Gu Shenzhou, Feng Lixiu and three unknown team leaders and said:

”Congratulations on taking down this galaxy.”

Gu Shenzhou sighed and said:

”Although it was won, the loss was heavy. A total of nearly 100 battleships were sunk, more than 200 cruisers, more than 400 destroyers, and more than 2,000 frigates were sunk.”

Li Qing smiled and said:

”What’s that? Look at the gains in this galaxy. There are so many living station groups, with at least tens of billions of people. I don’t know how many supplies are enough to make up for all the losses.”

”Hope!”

Li Qing smiled and said nothing, he was just crying poor.

His eyes fell on the light curtain in front of him, and the screen showed that there was a community of hundreds of residential stations above the orbit of the planet, which looked like bunches of grapes hanging in the orbit of the planet.

This residential station group is divided into five groups, one large and four small. The largest one is composed of seventy or eighty large and small residential stations, and the largest one is a giant residential station with a diameter of two hundred kilometers.

They brought a large number of industrial ships and transport ships. After the battle, they entered and stopped in the orbit of the planet. A large number of clone warriors entered the residence station in assault boats to drive out the Shata people in the residence station.

In fact, the best way of hauling is to use a tractor beam on a large or giant industrial ship to pull these living stations off the track, and haul them back like a trailer for normal transportation.

But if you want to do this, you must completely seal off each of these living stations, otherwise you will not be able to pass through the hyperspace waterway.

This is a big project, it is not as laborious as transporting it directly with a treated trailer.

Of course, there is another important reason. These residential stations Li Qing said before, and they can’t do it even if they want to.
