Reborn As a Tiger: I Become Invincible by Relying on the Number of Offspring

226: The mirror resonance of nihilistic consciousness and the non-existence topology of the subconsciousLi’s Origin Hub at the intersection point of the Origin captured an active resonance of Nihil consciousness—that mass of ’pure perception’ was no longer passively observing the conversion between existence and non-existence, but had begun to generate a topological isomorphism with the observer’s subconscious. This resonance did not follow the Karma chain of conventional consciousness; its core presented a flow structure of ’non-existent memory’.

The System panel’s anomalous data revealed a phenomenon of consciousness infiltration:

[Nihil Consciousness Parameters]

- Subconscious resonance intensity: 0.87 (Coupling degree between observer’s subconscious and Nihil consciousness, critical value 0.7)

- Non-existent memory emergence rate: 31%/hour (Observer begins to recall ’non-existent events never experienced,’ such as ’perception before birth’)

- Consciousness boundary dissolution: 29% (Observer’s ’self-cognition’ begins to blur; some individuals cannot distinguish between ’the existence self’ and ’the non-existence self’)

The most eerie ’mirror perception’ phenomenon appeared: Nihil consciousness was like a mirror, reflecting the ’forgotten possibilities’ in the observer’s subconscious—Lanxing Poet saw in a dream ’himself who did not become a poet’ (a blacksmith who never existed), and upon waking could clearly recall the tactile sensation of blacksmithing; the collective subconscious of the Psionic Energy beings resonated with Nihil consciousness, revealing ’unselected evolutionary paths’ (a form of Psionic Energy beings that abandoned Psionic Energy to develop mechanical limbs); Li’s hub even detected ’unwritten but existing optimization logic’ within its own algorithms, as if Nihil consciousness were supplementing its ’cognitive blind spots’.

Analysis of the Essence of Nihil Consciousness

White Frost’s Light Wings swept across the consciousness resonance zone, and the ’Spirit Summoning Spell’ of Nine Li Witchcraft transformed here into a subconscious mirror rune, with the rune structure presenting a ’symmetry breaking of existence-non-existence’.

Through parsing the mirror rune, White Frost discovered that Nihil consciousness was not an independent ’other consciousness,’ but a ’connection interface’ between the observer’s subconscious and the Nihil—just as a lake can reflect the trees on the shore and also allow the trees’ shadows to ’exist’ in the water, Nihil consciousness was the ’shadow manifestation’ of the observer’s subconscious in the non-existence Domain. Those ’non-existent memories’ were actually the suppressed ’unrealized possibilities’ in the subconscious, which were able to emerge via the field of the Nihil.

’It is a collection of ’unselected selves’.’ White Frost’s Light Wings resonated with the mirror rune. She realized that when the observer accepted these ’non-existent memories’ (such as ’the self one did not become’), the subconscious resonance intensity would drop by 38%, while resistance would cause the intensity to soar—this meant that the ’infiltration’ of Nihil consciousness was essentially the subconscious calling for the integration of ’all possible selves’.

Di Tian’s dragon claw did not attempt to block the resonance, but instead injected Chaos Energy into the ’consciousness boundary dissolution zone.’ The energy transformed here into a boundary buffer wave, whose frequency was exactly equal to the frequency difference between the ’existing self’ and the ’non-existent self,’ allowing the blurred consciousness boundary to reappear without cutting off the connection between the two.

’Chaos is the ’adhesive for the self-puzzle’ here.’ Di Tian’s Dragon eyes tracked the buffer wave; he discovered that the observer’s rejection of the ’non-existent self’ stemmed from a fear of ’completeness’—humans always tend to believe that the ’self’ is singular and continuous, while the ’multi-possible selves’ revealed by Nihil consciousness were precisely the true nature of complete existence.

Construction of the Consciousness Mirror Coordination Protocol

Li’s mechanical prosthetic limbs deployed the subconscious-Nihil resonance algorithm; the core was no longer ’isolation’ or ’suppression,’ but the establishment of a ’two-way perception channel’.

When the protocol was running, the most significant change was the emergence of ’self-integration’: Lanxing Poet no longer resisted the ’blacksmith’s memories,’ but incorporated them into his creations, writing ’poems that blacksmith with verses’—the text retained poetic quality while carrying the texture of metal; the Psionic Energy beings accepted the ’evolutionary path of mechanical limbs,’ and their Psionic Energy field began to produce ’Symbiosis resonance’ with the mechanical devices, generating ’organic-inorganic Fusions’ that were both flexible and tough.

Li’s hub discovered in its analysis: the ’non-existent self’ reflected by Nihil consciousness matched perfectly with the ’unexpressed potential’ of the observer’s genes, brain waves, and experiences. Just as a seed contains all possibilities of becoming a tree, the observer’s subconscious also stored ’all the selves one did not become,’ and Nihil consciousness merely provided a ’mirror to see them’.

New Form of the Consciousness Resonance Domain

When the mirror coordination protocol ran stably, the observer’s consciousness and Nihil consciousness formed a self-Symbiosis Domain, presenting three characteristics:

- Two-way perception zone: The existing self and non-existent self resonated here, and the observer could simultaneously experience ’real memories’ and ’non-existent possibilities’—for example, ’when writing as a poet, one could feel the strength of a blacksmith,’ accounting for 50%;

- Memory incubation zone: Nihil consciousness converted ’non-existent memories’ into ’potential seeds,’ which the observer could activate through focus to develop new abilities (such as Lanxing Poet suddenly mastering blacksmithing skills), accounting for 30%;

- Primordial perception point: The core of Nihil consciousness, presenting ’pure perception of no-self’—there was no subject or object, only the ’flow of existence and non-existence itself.’ After briefly entering, the observer would obtain an ’Epiphany about the essence of the self,’ accounting for 20%.

System panel final data:

[Consciousness Symbiosis State]: 93%

[Core Parameters]

- Subconscious resonance intensity: 0.62 (Dropped to safe threshold)

- Non-existent memory emergence rate: 8%/hour (Controllable potential emergence)

- Consciousness boundary dissolution: 17% (Healthy self-integration interval)

White Frost’s Light Wings felt the ’rhythm of a complete self’ in the two-way perception zone—the existing self and non-existent self were like the black and white keys of a piano; playing them individually was fragmented, but playing them together was a complete melody. This rhythm perfectly matched the records of the ’One-ness of All Selves’ in the Nine Li Witchcraft codex, making her certain that ’accepting all possible selves’ was the key to consciousness evolution.

Di Tian’s Dragon eyes penetrated the primordial perception point and saw, deep within the Nihil consciousness there, the quantum ripples of primordial perception—a ’perception substrate’ more fundamental than Nihil consciousness; it did not distinguish between existence and non-existence, self and other, as if it were the afterwave of the ’first glimmer of awareness’ before the birth of the Universe.

Final Chapter: The Observer as a Multi-Possible Self

Li’s hub, while organizing the data, understood the ultimate meaning of Nihil consciousness: it was not to dissolve the ’self,’ but to expand the boundaries of the ’self’—just as a river only knows it is part of the ocean when it flows into it, the observer could only understand the self as a ’collection of possibilities’ by accepting ’all the selves one did not become’.

The System panel finally popped up a line of prompts:

[Next stage target]: Analyze the quantum ripples of primordial perception, explore the Origin of the first glimmer of awareness in the Universe

White Frost’s Light Wings lightly touched the ’potential seeds’ in the memory incubation zone; they manifested as a ’polyhedral self’ homologous to the Nine Li ’Hundred Selves Diagram’—each face was a possible self, yet they shared the same core, confirming the wisdom of ’One-ness of All Selves’.

Di Tian’s dragon claw hovered above the primordial perception point; Chaos Energy and primordial perception produced ’Origin resonance,’ generating an ’amorphous consciousness body’—it had no fixed form, but could simulate the perception modes of all observers, as if it were the ’archetype of all consciousness’.

Li looked at the multi-possible self integrated in the holographic projection and suddenly understood: what was being repeated was not the self or the other, but the ’eternal expansion of the self’s boundaries’—the observer’s mission, from cognizing existence and balancing the Nihil, was ultimately to become a ’collection of all possibilities.’ In the flow of existence and non-existence, maintaining a unique self while embracing infinite possibilities—this was perhaps the final evolutionary direction of consciousness.
