Fantasy: Reborn tiger demon, more children and more blessings will make you stronger

Your Majesty, I like this name very much.”My King, I apologize, but I am unable to rise and greet you. I am simply too exhausted...”

Luo Shuiyan, resting on a red pillow, spoke wearily, her face utterly devoid of color, strands of hair clinging to her forehead with sweat. She looked frail and said, ”Once I feel better, then...”

”It’s alright, Water Smoke, you should rest well. There’s no need to mind these formalities.”

Hu Xiao shook his head, interrupting her, and looked at her with tenderness. ”You’ve just given birth, and your body is too weak. For the next few days, you mustn’t exert yourself. Just focus on recuperating.”

The period right after giving birth was when Luo Shuiyan was at her most vulnerable.

Now, with her vitality depleted, she was susceptible to various illnesses and colds.

Post-natal nourishment was absolutely essential.

Hu Xiao now wished he could give all the spirit fruits to Water Smoke to help her body recover.

”Yes, Water Smoke, my King is right.”

”You’ve just given birth, and your body is weak. You must rest well,” Qingxue said, echoing Hu Xiao’s words. She sat by the bed, her hand resting on the quilt, and gently advised, ”Before, you always took care of me. For the next few months, it’s my turn to do things for you.”

”Mmm...”

Luo Shuiyan felt a warmth spread through her heart upon hearing this. With her King and Qingxue by her side, she could now lie in bed and recuperate.

There was no need to worry about other trivial matters.

Just then, Luo Shuiyan looked at Hu Xiao’s empty arms and suddenly remembered something. She frowned and asked, ”By the way, My King, where is our daughter?”

However, as soon as she finished speaking, ”The Little Princess is here, My Lady!”

The maid, hearing her, lifted the curtain and quickly walked in, carrying Hu Ruyan to the bedside. She pulled back the white cloth of the swaddling, revealing the tender little face.

Hu Ruyan’s eyes were red-rimmed. She waved her tiny fists, blinked her large eyes, and her two tiger ears twitched playfully.

”My King, have you named our daughter?”

Luo Shuiyan looked at Hu Ruyan’s adorable little face, her eyes filled with gentle affection.

”Yes, I have,” Hu Xiao nodded, taking the swaddled Hu Ruyan from the maid’s hands. He said gently, ”Our daughter’s name is Hu Ruyan... How do you like it?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Hu Ruyan’s little head turned towards the sound. Her bright, black eyes sparkled with curiosity as she looked at Hu Xiao and giggled.

”Ruyan... Ruyan... What a wonderful name, My King.”

Luo Shuiyan, hearing the name, repeated it, feeling a warmth in her heart. ”I like it very much.”

Saying this, she looked up at Hu Ruyan and whispered, ”My dear daughter, Mommy will always love you...”

No sooner had she spoken than the little Hu Ruyan in Hu Xiao’s arms seemed to sense something. She babbled and reached out her small, lotus-root-like hand towards Luo Shuiyan, as if wanting to touch her mother’s face.

”Come.”

Seeing this, Hu Xiao also leaned down, allowing her to get closer to Luo Shuiyan. The small hand rested on her face, warm like the winter morning sun.

After the touch, Luo Shuiyan’s pale complexion indeed regained some color, visibly reddening.

”My good daughter, Mommy’s good daughter.”

Luo Shuiyan felt the warmth on her face, and her eyes welled up.

She extended her slender, jade-like hand from beneath the quilt and gently placed it on little Hu Ruyan’s palm. Hu Xiao then extended his large, broad, and strong hand, enveloping and holding the hands of both mother and daughter, protecting them within his palm.

Candlelight flickered, three hands clasped together, and time seemed to stand still at that moment.

The surrounding midwives watched this scene, feeling their hearts melt. They all cast envious glances, not daring to utter a sound to disturb them.

”My King, Water Smoke, little Hu Ruyan...”

Qingxue murmured as she watched the heartwarming scene, her eyelashes trembling, and a feeling of admiration rose within her. She lowered her head and gently stroked her own belly.

When would her child be born?

Mommy already wants to see you soon and be reunited with the King...

Time slowly passed.

A moment later, Luo Shuiyan lay back on the bed, and the young Hu Ruyan was taken away by the midwife to continue her cleansing and health check.

”Water Smoke, you should rest well in bed these days. Just call me if you need anything.”

”Mmm, I understand.”

”I’ll go out now.”

After giving a few instructions, Hu Xiao got up and left the room. He instructed Xiong Da and Xiong Er to guard the door, then went outside the cave and found an empty space.

The newly acquired Undying Body needed to be diligently comprehended.

Now that little Hu Ruyan had been born, he had another concern on his heart.

My daughter has just begun to grow.

Before she can stand on her own, I must work even harder as a father!

Hu Xiao arrived at an open space in the mountains and chose a testing spot.

”Good, this will do.”

The mountain grass was verdant, and the sunlight was bright.

He flipped his hand and took out the Blood Soul Spear.

Hum—

A cold, sharp light trembled slightly, and the spear tip emitted a chilling killing intent.

”According to the system, my current Undying Body should be at the level of a Seventh-Tier Great Demon... I should be able to recover from all severe injuries.”

With this thought, Hu Xiao gripped the spear tip and lightly drew it across his right palm.

The next moment, a tearing sound!

His skin was cut, a gash opened, and blood flowed profusely.

But in less than a few seconds, the tearing wound caused by the Blood Soul Spear instantly grew granulation tissue, and the flesh intertwined and closed, indeed returning to its original state.

”Excellent!”

Hu Xiao carefully stared at his palm; it was as smooth as before, with no trace of a scar!

One must know that the Blood Soul Spear was a spirit weapon, capable of breaking blood and shattering bones. Once the spear tip cut a wound, it would take at least a year and a half to heal and close.

Even if one used demonic energy to force recovery, it was highly likely to leave an unsightly scar.

But now, with his Undying Body, he recovered effortlessly!

And more importantly, this undying ability continued to strengthen with his own power!

Currently, he was only a Seventh-Tier Great Demon, yet he could already easily heal severe injuries.

What if he raised his rank even higher?

Broken bones would regenerate, he could be reborn from a drop of blood, or even just by holding onto a single breath, he could sustain his vital spirit and achieve true immortality!

”Indeed, this ability is strong.”

Hu Xiao nodded with satisfaction, then continued to test the Fire Spirit Body.

Now that he had established a connection with little Hu Ruyan, with the enhancement of the S-rank Fire Spirit Body, he was impervious to fire.

Thinking of this, Hu Xiao flicked out a wisp of demonic energy, ignited the dry grass beside him, and then covered the flame with his hand, allowing the outer flame to lick his palm.

Warm, comfortable.

The flame rose in his palm, yet he felt no burning pain whatsoever.

This was the terrifying aspect of the Fire Spirit Body! It was naturally a darling of fire.

But this test had already reached its limit.

He couldn’t delve any deeper.

”I don’t have any fire-attribute divine abilities to cultivate; it’s still a bit lacking,” Hu Xiao thought, shaking his head slightly. He turned his palm to extinguish the flame on the grass and sighed.

A wisp of smoke drifted away, disappearing into the heavens and earth...
