Qin Si was still struggling with his tea brewing skills. He looked up and thought for a moment upon hearing what she said. “There seems to be a competition like this.

“Sister Qiao, why are you asking about this competition? Are you going to participate?”

That wasn’t right. It wasn’t Qiao Nian’s personality.

Just as Qin Si thought this.

The girl’s eyes were quite delicate. She said after only a second’s pause, “Yes, I want to sign up for it.”

!!
Ye Wangchuan continued before Qin Si could speak, “Are you talking about that World Software Competition?”

Qiao Nian supported her face with her hand, her eyes dark. Only now did she know that the software competition was called the World Software Competition. She nodded and said, “I think so.”

“Why do you suddenly want to go to the competition?”

He had the same thought as Qin Si. Qiao Nian didn’t like to join in the fun. Moreover, unlike Jiang Xianrou and most of the others, she didn’t care about her reputation.

She wouldn’t have caused so much trouble because of Zhui Guang if she valued those empty titles.

She was afraid of trouble.

She rarely told outsiders about many things even though she was already at the top of the industry.

Not to mention participating in competitions and competing for rankings.

Qiao Nian moved and changed her posture. She crossed her legs and looked sloppy. However, her expression was a little serious when she spoke. “It’s nothing. I just suddenly wanted to do something for the country. Then, I thought about it and realized that I didn’t have any special skills. I remembered that there was a competition. I happen to know how to use a computer, so I want to try it out.”

The corners of Qin Si’s mouth twitched when she said “I happen to know how to use a computer”.

A big shot was a big shot.

Qiao Nian knew how to use the computer.

Most of the technicians outside probably belonged to a standard that didn’t know how to use computers!

Ye Wangchuan nodded but did not say anything. He just said to her, “There is such a competition. Qing University also has a spot.”

Qiao Nian nodded in understanding.

That was good.

Old Master Wei’s matter had touched her greatly. She couldn’t explain why, but she felt quite upset.

Especially after hearing about Old Master Wei’s contributions to the country when he was young.

Come to think of it, she never seemed to go out of her way to do anything.

Wei Lou said that when Old Master Wei was at the peak of his illness, he still insisted on working until three in the morning before he was willing to sleep. He often said that he did not dare to lie down because he was afraid that he would fall asleep the moment he did. He still had many things to do. If he did not do them, who would? Some things had to be done. He would rather be the one to do them.

Qiao Nian’s heart skipped a beat at this thought. It was as if she had been pricked by a thin needle. It didn’t hurt, but she felt a little uncomfortable.

Her expression did not change, but her mind seemed to have changed.

Ye Wangchuan watched as the girl frowned, then relaxed, then frowned again. There seemed to be something different about her from before, but it also seemed that Qiao Nian was still Qiao Nian. His eyes deepened. “But this is a world-class competition. You can bring the software you made to the school tomorrow to register with Principal Liang if you want to participate. The school will first choose the software that can represent the school’s best standards, then send it to the organizing committee. The domestic organizing committee will then choose the best one to represent the country.”

Qiao Nian had a rough understanding of the registration process. She nodded and got up. “Alright, I’ll go prepare the software first.”

There were many self-developed software in her notebook, but many of them were things she usually did for fun and had never announced to the public.
