My Three Wives Are Beautiful Vampires

Chapter 1141: Goddess of Time, Natalia.

Time distorted as she arrived, a five meter tall woman with long golden hair looked down at the planet below her. Calling that rock a planet was an offense to the planets themselves. This world was merely a floating rock that had just come together.

Her name was Natalia Elderblood, the Dragon Goddess of Time, one of the wives of Emperor Victor Elderblood.

”Letʼs speed things up a little,” Natalia said.

[I will support you.] She heard Victorʼs voice.

[Mm.] She nodded with a small smile on her face, closing her eyes for a few moments.

When she opened her eyes, they became like the cosmoses themselves. Her wings opened, and with a flap of her wings, all time acted abnormally. Everything remained still until, like a fast-forward button, the planet below her appeared to spin at high speed.

Billions of years passed like that, turning the rock into a full-fledged planet. Soon she began to shrink until time returned to normal.

Normally, she did not need to concentrate so much to do such a simple job, but since she was using her energies and authority over time to keep the ritual functioning on a galactic scale, she needed more effort so as not to compromise the ritual itself.

”... As expected, this is the most efficient way.” Said Natalia when she saw a seed of the world tree beginning to appear on the rock that is now a planet.

Victorʼs image appeared beside her: ”Even with our terraforming technology, planets do not become habitable like in the movies.”

”Therefore, it is as we expected, right?”

”Yes. The Primordial Chaos that created everything made it so that all of its creation was in the hands of the primordials. The fact that we cannot transform a floating rock into a habitable planet even with all our power and technology has only one explanation... this is one of the fundamental rules of existence.”

Even with all of Victorʼs power, he cannot ignore the fundamental rules of the universe... Well, that was not exactly true. Victor felt that if he tried a little, he could break that rule.

ʼIf I use Eldritch powers, I can transform this planet into something habitable, but... This action will completely distort the planet.ʼ The powers of the outer gods are essentially contradictory.

If an Eldritch God creates life, that life will not be something normal like everyone knows, but something distorted from what ʼlife should beʼ. Yes, the principle of Azathothʼs pantheon was chaos. Nothing functioned as it should because the concept of order did not exist, and even if he added the concept of order to his creations, the essence of an Outer God would contaminate the order and turn it into something abominable.

Because of this nature, the Eldritch pantheon of Azathoth was extremely powerful, but fundamentally couldnʼt function without their ʼdistorted logicʼ.

”So we should do what we are doing here, go to each solar system and accelerate the time of some giant rock?” Natalia said.

With their experience, they discovered that in each solar system, there likely existed a seed of a world tree that would awaken when the planet reached a critical point. Because of that, Natalia was jumping between solar systems that lacked a planet with a world tree to accelerate time, and so far, the success rate was quite high. Every 10 solar systems, 4 had a planet that had a world tree seed. Of the 200 solar systems she visited, these statistics remained consistent.

”No.” Victor denied. With his divine perspective, he could see that space was not lacking for his population, so there was no need to intervene too much in this matter. As an interplanetary civilization that could alter the cosmos as it wished, what it lacked the least was space.

”Let nature follow its course, our experiment ends here.” Victor, as a god of , understood that the beginning was always precious, not to mention that Roxanne would complain if he brought more world trees for her to take care of.

He looked at the seed of the world tree on that planet and, with a gentle touch, placed it in his world. All the experiments he did among the planets, Victor did not leave those world trees alone. After all, he altered their destiny, so it was his duty to take care of them.

Controlling reality, Victor took the entire planet and placed it in the territory of his Empire. He became increasingly proficient in this technique, it was as if he were playing a galactic-scale RTS game, and he was a super powerful god who could at any moment move entire planets or an entire solar system. These actions made his inner child have fun.

”Letʼs go back.” He raised his hand and extended it to Natalia.

Natalia smiled lovingly and held his hand: ”Yes.”

...

”The next phase will begin?” Ruby asked Aline.

”Yes... We planned that the development from the 30,000th to the 50,000th millennium of the imperial calendar will be about genetics. We will raise the existential level of everyone.” Aline said while looking at the data in front of her.

”What will be the life expectancy of the population?” Ruby asked.

”It will not be different... Probably between 200 to 300 years.” Aline answered.

”Hmm... Is that good? Or bad?”

”With the scale that the Empire has become, even if everyone lived all 300 years of their lives, they would not be able to explore all our territory, so diseases like divine boredom will not happen.”

Divine boredom was not the official name, but it was an appropriate name for that feeling. Fortunately, with the scale of the Empire now that it practically exists across the entire Milky Way, the citizens of the Empire will never become bored.

”... That is ridiculous if you think about it calmly.” Ruby could not help but say. If her younger self, that lazy vampire who was studying in college, heard the scale of things as they are today, she would probably call her future self a delusional madwoman.

The Empire spanned the entire Milky Way, and unlike the Milky Way before, Victor turned it into a supergalaxy, with at least two neighboring galaxies merged into it.

”Instead of worrying about that, we should worry about the integration of future generations. With the Empire being gigantic, the feeling of unity must be the main priority.” Velnorah said while entering the laboratory. Her long, blue hair was tied in a ponytail that reached her butt.

”That is indeed a necessary concern...” Ruby commented.

The fact that the Empire was ridiculously large did not help implement necessary policies. Fortunately, most of the current beings are individuals who have already died at some point in life and reincarnated as members of the Empire, so the sense of loyalty was 100%.

But as her husband always said: ʼIt is never good to leave gaps for enemies to exploitʼ. Therefore, education and indoctrination were important, as practically all teaching material spoke about the Emperor and his Empress goddesses.

”We should-...” When Ruby was about to explain her idea, but stopped when she heard Victorʼs words.

[From now on, I will no longer merge galaxies. We must reinforce our central structures. A territory that is too large is also difficult to defend if necessary.] He sent a mental message to all the wives, and soon he stopped speaking, returning to silence.

”... Darling is tired,” Ruby commented after feeling Victorʼs state. Since they were all wives who had made a soul marriage, they knew how the others were, even if they were not close.

”Indeed. The energy expenditure is becoming even higher the longer the time passes within the ritual.” Velnorah narrowed her eyes, a worried look appearing on her face. Even knowing that her sisters were always by his side, she would still worry. After all, he was her husband.

”The prediction is that when the 160,000th year of the Imperial calendar arrives, he will be replenishing energy at the same rate he is spending it.”

Victor was practicing holding the weight of all reality on his shoulders. All actions within the ritual spend energy from his side. Even with his immense reserves, there would come a moment when he would not be able to withstand the weight of everything, even with his wives helping, and Jeanne as well.

The greatest weight was still on his shoulders.

”... All this because Darling does not let me help him.” A woman in a black dress appeared. She was present and at the same time not, only existing as an image.

”You know you cannot, Azathoth,” Ruby said with a solemn look. She understood Azathothʼs feelings very well.

”Yes, my essence would distort everything.” She said with a growl. She was extremely frustrated for not being able to help with anything. All her sisters were helping, but she could not do anything! She even tried to help Victor by giving him energy, but he refused. After all, Eldritch energy cannot be involved in the ritual, or everything could literally implode from the inside.

Aline began to break out in cold sweat when she saw reality distort under Azathothʼs anger.

”... Just stay by his side, sister. Sometimes, just your presence will help his burden.” Velnorah said gently while ignoring what Azathothʼs presence was doing in the laboratory.

”...” Azathoth looked at Velnorah for a few seconds and nodded obediently. ”You are right... I should go back.” Her image began to disappear.

”Aline, you do not need to be afraid, she is our sister,” Velnorah said while using the powers of altering reality to fix the damage that Azathothʼs presence caused.

”It is not fear... It is just that I cannot help but feel that her presence is wrong.” After so long with Azathoth, Aline no longer feared her sister, but when she lost control of her temper, she could not help but feel that something was wrong.

Logically, she understood, but she could not contain her basic instincts. Azathoth did not get offended by this, since she knew that if it were not for Victorʼs influence, none of the current women would be capable of looking at her face without going insane.

Ruby and Velnorah remained silent. Despite being more resistant than ordinary beings thanks to the connection they had with Victor and the several times he bathed them in his essence, they were still not on the same level as Azathoth or Azathothʼs daughter with Victor, Yog-Sothoth.

But they were better than beings with no resistance at all. If a normal mortal looked at Azathoth, they would simply implode from not understanding what they were seeing.

”Our sister became stronger,” Ruby commented after evaluating the state of the outer goddess.

Velnorah and Aline nodded. Unlike before, Azathoth seemed much more present. She was not truly here, still contained in her seal, but it was evident that she was becoming stronger.

”Influence of Darling?” Aline deduced.

”Probably... Or the seal is weakening, which is very unlikely,” Velnorah replied.

”In any case, it is a good thing that she is becoming stronger. That way, things may end more peacefully in the future.” Ruby said casually.

”That is true.” Velnorah and Aline said at the same time.

Soon they returned to work. Specifically, they returned to discussing the mental message that Victor gave to everyone.
