I am God LSLCCF

Chapter 148: The Ship Giant and the Three Elements of Dream Power

The divine moon that illuminated all of Yinsai had not appeared for long before it gradually disappeared from the sky.

Only thin wisps of clouds remained in the heavens, and the tumultuous tides at the seaside slowly returned to their smooth rhythm.

And beneath the sky.

The anxious Trilobite Men, the frenzied believers, and the uneasy Yinsai nobility finally managed to calm their pounding hearts.

Before the palace in God-Servant City, the King of Yinsai stood on the steps, supported by a group of attendants, his clothes in disarray.

He turned back anxiously, asking those around him.

“Was it truly God?”

The attendants knelt on the ground: “Your Majesty! Only God!”

“It could only be God.”

The second-generation king of the Henir Dynasty ordered the scene of the divine moon’s appearance to be recorded on stone tablets and placed in the Sky Temple. This became the most iconic major event of his dynasty.
Later generations even directly called the era of the second-generation Henir king the Divine Moon Dynasty.

From this moment on, the moon, once an ordinary celestial body, took on mysterious and powerful connotations.

Its name no longer merely referred to the moon in the sky, but gained many other meanings.

It became a common term in priests’ secret texts. When people spoke of the moon, they no longer used “it,” but reverently changed to “He.”

Priests even believed that chanting the moon’s name while using divine techniques would bring them blessings.

Some even claimed that priests who observed the secrets deep within the divine moon gained incomparably powerful abilities, obtaining mythical techniques that could break through the limits of mortal lifespan.

He embodied wisdom, governed the tides, and above all, represented God’s will—

In the divine hall of the dream realm, the statue of the Yinsai God personally carved by Redlichia still stood on the divine platform.

But at this moment, it was merely an ordinary statue.

God’s shadow rarely appeared on it anymore. He would sometimes lean against the chair beneath the stained-glass window of the divine hall, or appear in the long corridor outside the hall.

Occasionally, He could also be seen above the vast sea of books stacked in layers in the spirit library.

The spirit poked her little head out from the great door of the divine hall, looking inside.

“Is God not here?”

It was empty inside, and even the Mother of Life, Shelly, had disappeared to who knows where.

However, Hila, the messenger of God, only needed to raise her head to know whether God was present or not.

When the moon in the sky shone brightly, it meant the deity was slumbering.

And when the moon in the sky was dim and hazy, God must be somewhere in the dream world.

If the moon in the dream realm disappeared, then God must have gone to the mortal world.

The spirit returned to the library.

She stared wide-eyed at the copy of Sandean’s manuscript and the rubbing of “The Art of God’s Grace” written by the Food Priest Lan.

It wasn’t so easy for spirits to break through to the fourth level. There was a fundamental difference between the Wisdom Ability of Trilobite Men and the Dream Power of spirits. The priests’ mental activation divine techniques and seal divine techniques couldn’t be directly applied to spirits.

“Ah!”

The spirit’s skirt fluttered as she raised her hand to scratch her head in confusion.

Her pupils were blank, looking at each word on the book with bewilderment, her eyes reflecting a peculiar kind of “wisdom.”

Whenever she tried to study, she felt her mind go fuzzy. She stared at the scroll for a long time, only to find she couldn’t remember anything.

What did I just read?

Huh?

What did I just learn?

Then, drowsiness would overtake her.

And then she would think.

Nevermind, I’ll sleep and regain my energy before studying.

In this aspect, she proved to be quite similar to other spirits, big and small.

She and the spirits were certainly no geniuses, lacking Sandean’s talent for developing divine techniques.

“How can I find the path for Dream Power to break through to the fourth level?”

Hila left the Spirit Country and wandered across the star sea.

She drifted aimlessly through the cosmic expanse, her feet tracing paths among the stars, until at last she found herself before the grand gates of God’s realm.

In the distance, the ferryman poled the Divine Boat through the fantastical star sea, the vessel laden with mortals’ life dreams.

The spirit stood beneath the slightly ajar giant door, with the light from God’s realm behind her forming a slanted light-dark plane through the gap, elongating even the spirit’s shadow.

She watched the ferryman come and go across this star sea day after day, year after year, and suddenly asked, “Do you feel lonely and tedious?”

The ferryman raised his head, looking at Hila with hollow, dark eyes, and said.

“This is…”

“A covenant.”

The ferryman’s voice was indistinct, but the last two words, “a covenant,” were exceptionally clear.

Many Trilobite Men died each day, and the ferryman traveled back and forth between the gates of God’s realm and the fantastical star sea, boat after boat, busy without rest all day long.

Hila suddenly felt somewhat apologetic, for it was she who had pulled the ferryman into this position.

And she just realized that the ferryman’s power was still at the second level.

Although the ferryman’s power and divine blood were very strong, and he possessed the Divine Boat, the quality of his power had still not transformed.

“The Wisdom Ability has manifested fourth-level power. Let me teach it to you!” Hila offered, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

“This way, you can have an easier time.”

Although Hila didn’t have the authority like King Redlichia to directly impart knowledge and modify everyone’s memories.

But the power of dreams came from the combination of wisdom and life, she could create a dream about how to break through in power and insert it into the ferryman’s mind.

She directly inserted the dream into the ship’s lantern.

Immediately, layers of radiance erupted from the ferryman’s body.

His mental power instantly activated and condensed, and the Divine Cup in the sky projected down its light, sending the Iron Divine Technique Imprint and the Weaving Divine Technique Imprint into his Seal Spirit.

The Divine Boat, this divine technique tool, slowly assimilated and merged into the ferryman’s Seal Spirit.

Beneath the silver boat, a protruding iron figure gradually squeezed out, and a head-like ram appeared at the bow.

“Thud! Thud! Thud!”

It suddenly stood up, becoming an iron giant with a ship for its back.

The Ship Giant took down the ship’s lantern and held it in its hand, turning it into a handheld lantern.

The massive figure stood before the gates of God’s realm, like a colossal guardian statue.

The ferryman waved his hand, retracting his Seal Spirit power.

The Ship Giant immediately lay down, turning back into a boat.

The ferryman’s body began to change again, his Seal Spirit fusing into his mythical blood, and the ferryman’s brain began to deify, gradually becoming crystal clear.

Changes appeared on the Ship Giant, with numerous metal boats splitting off from its body.

And from within the ship’s lantern, vague and dim shadows walked out one after another.

They piloted the boats, heading towards the depths of the dream realm to receive the approaching deceased.

From that moment on, there was only one ferryman in the dream realm, yet paradoxically, it could be said there were now dozens or even hundreds of ferrymen.

Every deceased person coming to report to the dream realm, as they approached riding on a boat from afar.

They would all see a Ship Giant holding a dim lantern before the gates of God’s realm.

On the giant’s shoulder stood a person wearing a mysterious black robe.

Whenever a figure passed through the gates of God’s realm, he would swing the lantern in the Ship Giant’s hand, making the chains rattle.

It sounded like the bells of judgment.

The lamplight illuminated each person’s life dream, also beginning the judgment of their entire life.

Sometimes the Ship Giant would lie down and become a boat, personally piloted by the ferryman to the depths of the dream realm. This was when extremely important people and memories arrived.

Dream Spirit Hila witnessed the ferryman’s breakthrough to the fourth level, and suddenly had a new idea.

“The three elements of the Wisdom Ability are spirit, consciousness, and myth.”

“The mythical organ is the brain.”

“Then the three elements of Dream Power should be memory, dreams, and divine blood.”

“But, how to fuse them?”

Dream Spirit Hila found the dawn she sought from the ferryman, yet fell into the next conundrum.
