Quick Transmigration: The Host is Forced to Love!

16: Chapter 16 The Tragic Young Master’s Benefactor 15The young man’s lips trembled, his eyes shimmering with a hint of moisture, and a strange expression of excitement and satisfaction surged across his face as he buried his fluffy head into Lu Zhan’s chest.

”Brother Zhan... Brother Zhan... Brother Zhan... If you lie to me, then let’s die together...”

He murmured as if he had lost his mind, and as if unable to restrain himself any longer, he bit down hard.

A small patch of the clothes on his chest slowly became soaked, and the sudden, intense pain caused his body to stiffen and tense up instantly, though it relaxed again just as quickly.

Little wolf cub, that bite really hurts!

”Mm, I’m here.”

Gentle, doting, and full of a sense of security.

Old wounds hadn’t healed and new ones were added; sigh... what could he do? One could only dote on one’s own cub. Lu Zhan raised his hand and rubbed the fluffy head in front of him.

The youth stumbled forward, relying on a heart full of unyielding, obsessive love, and finally cracked the layers of cold, aloof shell!

”Dong... Du... Du... Dong...”

The ill-timed knocking on the door, accompanied by the ringing of a mobile phone, interrupted the pink-bubble world of the two.

”What is it?”

Lin Sicheng got up from Lu Zhan’s chest, the watery redness in his eyes not yet faded, and his words carried a rare, childish irritability.

Lu Zhan found it amusing and stroked the young man’s back to soothe him.

”Young Master, the mobile phone you left in the study is ringing. You instructed that if it rang, it must be brought to you immediately.”

The person outside the door was the housekeeper of this villa, Lin Sicheng’s subordinate, and also the person Lu Zhan had occasionally seen through the window during this time, a man of about forty, who was a rather upright and amiable middle-aged man.

Lu Zhan’s room was on the second floor; others were not allowed to set foot here, and even the small garden facing the window was tended to by the housekeeper personally.

Every time the housekeeper came, he would just wait outside the door for orders. Occasionally, when the door opened a crack, he dared not look around, but he knew that the Young Master had locked someone in the room.

Several times in the garden, through the floor-to-ceiling windows, he had seen a very handsome young man sitting quietly on the sofa reading a book.

And the Young Master, whose temper was perverse and beyond normal life, would go upstairs as soon as he returned every day, preparing and bringing up three meals a day with different variations himself.

Therefore, he guessed that the Young Master liked the person in the room very much, and his possessiveness was so strong that he wouldn’t even allow others to take a second look.

”Sicheng, it’s my phone, right? Bring it to me. It just so happens that I have something to tell my family. If nothing goes wrong, I probably have to go back to the old house. It’s been so long, it’s time to go.”

His tone was somewhat gentle, without any major emotional fluctuations, but one could still hear the indisputability within it.

Upon hearing that Lu Zhan was leaving, Lin Sicheng was extremely unwilling, yet he didn’t want to directly refute him and cause Life Qi.

So he looked left and right, his eyes drifting, but they wouldn’t settle on anything, and he didn’t make a sound.

Lu Zhan was a bit helpless, but considering the suspicion, sensitivity, and obsession of the person in his arms, he still stroked the young man’s back and continued patiently.

”Sicheng, I have already made some things very clear just now. Since I have promised you, I will not go back on my word, and you should trust me once. If you remain immersed in the past and are so suspicious and sensitive towards me, it is impossible for us to have a future. Or are you saying that you really want to lock me up for a lifetime? If so, what do you take me, Lu Zhan, for? A plaything in your palm? Or a little pet that begs for pity from you every day...”

Before he could finish, Lu Zhan found that he couldn’t continue.

The young man seemed to have gained great stimulation and satisfaction from the latter half of his words, his eyes glowing with an unknown light, his face full of infatuated weirdness.

”Brother Zhan, wouldn’t it be good to be like this for a lifetime? Everything about you, only I can see. You can only have me, and you only belong to me.”

Lin Sicheng was calm yet weird, his stubbornness revealing obsession, and he seemed to take it for granted, not as if he were joking.

Hearing this, Lu Zhan looked at the young man with deep eyes, not looking away for a long time, so long that the ringing outside stopped and started again, ringing and stopping once more.

Lu Zhan finally seemed to come back to his senses, raised his hand to push away the young man in his arms, stood up straight, and walked to the sofa by the window to sit down.

He crossed his legs, his hand tapping lightly on the armrest, and didn’t say anything else, sorting through the messy thoughts in his mind.

Perhaps he had miscalculated something; he had overestimated the young man’s love for him, but underestimated the obsessive possessiveness and desire for control that had long since become mentally deranged over the years.

Too gentle a method now seemed unfeasible. Although it soothed the surface, it was tantamount to drinking poison to quench thirst, only fueling the dark possessiveness and obsessive control in the young man’s heart.

Perhaps only by hitting rock bottom would there be a rebound; he should readjust and try a dose of strong medicine directly.

Because of the few thoughts and feelings of affection that had unexpectedly arisen, he was inevitably willing to put in a little more effort.

He could also tolerate the wolf cub’s sharp teeth and claws leaving marks on his body, and was willing to cooperate with its natural love and desire...

But the implementation of all this should absolutely not be the current deformed interaction of unilateral imprisonment and control, but rather established on the basis of personal freedom and equal interaction.

Otherwise, with his pride, he would rather have nothing at all, and never have started...

Lu Zhan’s face had slowly cooled down, and his eyes were also coldly indifferent.

His whole body was thus imbued with a bit of sharp majesty, as if the crack that had just been broken open had silently closed again.

”So the love you speak of is nothing more than this. It was I who thought wrong. Fortunately, it’s not too late to discover it. From now on, do as you please. Now, please leave; I’m tired.”

It was indifferent, without a trace of warmth, and he didn’t even spare a glance for the young man. It was unclear whether the words revealed disappointment or relief.

The cold, emotionless words reached his ears, mixed with disappointment and disdain for his love, as well as the cold relief of having discovered it in time.

Was Brother Zhan questioning his feelings? Was he disappointed in him? Had he made Brother Zhan disheartened? Was Brother Zhan regretting it, wanting to take back what he just said...

Looking at Lu Zhan by the window, with his whole body exuding a piercing Cold Qi, and even greater majesty, Lin Sicheng didn’t even dare to approach, standing there pitifully and helplessly, his head shaking slightly, tears dripping down in large drops.

It wasn’t like this; he was wrong. He really loved Mr. very much; he had loved him for many years. They shouldn’t have such an ending; clearly, they were going to...

Just a second ago, he was still lying in an embrace full of the fragrance of sandalwood, being gently and intimately coaxed, listening to so many wonderful words of love...

His heart felt as if it were being crushed, the pain unbearable. The beauty of the moment before and the pain of the moment after were chaotically intertwined, his mind a blank, unable to think.

His right hand trembled slightly; he remembered. His palm had touched the violently beating heart under the chest; he heard someone say that he had obtained him...

Then why did it end up like this? That’s right, he seemed to have said the wrong thing and done the wrong thing again.

He had a premonition that the thing he had always wanted most, which was very important to him, was clearly already in his hands, but now it seemed like it was about to be lost.

His lips trembled; he had to do something, he couldn’t, and he must not, it was very important, that was something he could not lose...

His already muddled mind recalled, what was it just now... the mobile phone, yes, it was the mobile phone...

His long eyelashes were stained with crystal droplets, his eyes red, tear stains un-wiped, his steps messy and stumbling, yet he walked straight towards the door.

Soon, the door was opened and closed again.

The housekeeper just felt that his Young Master was a bit strange just now, shook his head without thinking too much, and walked away from the second floor.
