Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1720 The tenth and the final battle begins!

Everyone in the Combat Hall knew Karo was not like the previous demons. He had not moved when Max killed the first demon. He had not moved when Max killed five demons in a row. He had not moved when the elven woman was obliterated by Star Fist, nor had he moved when Max reached his eighth and ninth victories.

He had simply watched from the side with that faint smile, waiting as if none of the fallen demons mattered to him.

But now, Max had reached nine consecutive victories.

Now, Max had gathered one million Killing Points.

Now, there was only one battle left before he completed the ten consecutive victory trial.

And Karo had chosen this exact moment to step forward.

Many participants instantly understood his intention.

He had waited for Max to collect enough Killing Points.

He had waited for Max to become the greatest prize in the arena.

Only then had he decided to act.

Karo reached the edge of Arena Seven and looked at Max with a smile that carried neither anger nor hatred, only cold greed and confident amusement.

”I have to admit,” Karo said, his voice calm but clear enough for everyone nearby to hear, ”you are far stronger than I expected.”

Max looked at him without saying anything.

Karo continued walking forward as the trialʼs light descended upon him, and in the next instant, his figure appeared inside the arena, standing directly opposite Max amid the shattered battlefield.

The barrier closed around them once more, sealing the two within the ruined arena, and the moment Karo entered, the entire Combat Hall became even quieter than before.

His aura was different.

The previous demons had been brutal, violent, and filled with obvious killing intent, but Karoʼs aura was deep and restrained, like a dark abyss covered by a thin layer of calm water. He did not release his full strength, yet the pressure coming from him was already enough to make several participants outside the arena feel their breathing grow heavy.

It was not the wild pressure of a beast. It was the pressure of someone who knew exactly how strong he was and had no need to prove it through noise.

Karoʼs eyes moved toward the display above Max.

[Participant: Max]

[Consecutive Victories: 9]

[Killing Points: 1,000,000]

When he saw that number, the smile on his face became wider.

”One million Killing Points,” Karo said softly, almost as if he was admiring a treasure. ”You really did well. You crushed those useless demons, killed that elf, reached nine victories, and gathered all these points in such a short time.”

He paused for a moment, then looked back at Max.

”Thank you for that.”

The moment those words left his mouth, the expressions of many participants changed.

Karoʼs meaning was too obvious.

He had never cared about the demons Max killed.

He had never cared about their humiliation.

In his eyes, they had only been stepping stones used to raise Maxʼs value before he came to take everything for himself.

Karo raised one hand and lightly stretched his fingers, his smile still calm and arrogant.

”You saved me quite a bit of effort,” he said. ”Instead of wasting my time gathering Killing Points from trash, I only need to defeat you once and take everything you have collected.”

The demon side erupted with cruel laughter after hearing his words.

Some of the demons who had been humiliated by Maxʼs victories finally regained their confidence, because Karo was different from the others. If the previous demons were hunters, then Karo was a predator standing above them.

His strength was acknowledged even among the demons, and many of them believed that the moment he entered the arena, Maxʼs arrogance had reached its end.

Nick clenched his fists outside the arena.

His face was tense.

He believed in Maxʼs strength, but Karoʼs presence was still different from the earlier challengers. Even from outside the barrier, Nick could feel that this demon was dangerous. Not simply strong, but dangerous in a way that made oneʼs instincts scream.

There was something cold and calculating about him, and that made him far more frightening than the demons who had charged at Max in blind anger.

Among the elves, the golden-haired elven prince watched Karo and Max with sharp eyes. He wondered if Karo would would force Max to utilize the forbidden Divine Bloodline but he preferred Max would rather not reveal this bloodline of his.

He had his own plans for Max and that would only work if Maxʼs forbidden Divine Bloodline remained a secret for the rest of the elves present here.

Inside the arena, Karo slowly tilted his head and looked at Maxʼs black dragon scales.

”I watched your battles,” he said. ”Your defense is impressive. Your physical strength is even more impressive. That fist technique of yours was also not bad. But I wonder how much of your strength is left after fighting nine battles in a row.”

Max finally smiled.

There was no fear in his expression.

There was not even caution.

Only calm amusement.

”You waited until I reached one million Killing Points before coming in,” Max said. ”You demons really do like dreaming.”

Karoʼs smile did not fade.

”Dreaming?” he repeated softly.

Max looked at him and replied, ”You are standing there as if those Killing Points already belong to you.”

Karoʼs crimson eyes narrowed slightly.

The air between them became heavier.

Max slowly raised his right hand and clenched his fist, causing a faint cracking sound to echo from his dragon-scaled fingers.

”But there is one problem,” Max said, his smile becoming colder. ”You still have to defeat me first.”

Karo stared at him for a moment.

Then he laughed.

It was not a furious laugh, nor was it a mocking roar like the other demons. It was soft, controlled, and filled with chilling confidence.

”Good,” Karo said. ”Very good.”

Dark demonic energy began to rise from his body.

The shattered stones around his feet trembled, and the air inside the arena seemed to sink under an invisible weight. His smile remained, but the pressure around him sharpened like a blade being slowly drawn from its sheath.

”Then let me see,” Karo said, ”whether the human who gathered one million Killing Points is truly worthy of keeping them.”

Max stood across from him, his black dragon scales gleaming coldly as the faint pressure of his draconic bloodline spread around him.

The tenth and the final battle of the ten consecutive victory trial had begun.
