Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1631 A Dud?

Max stood before the mountain in complete stillness, his gaze unwavering as he slowly lifted his sword. He could feel it clearly now, the subtle rejection between his sword art and his concept. The two forces did not belong together, and they resisted each other at every moment. Even so, Max did not retreat.

A quiet certainty rose within him. The Saint Origin Sword Art alone was not enough. It required something deeper, something that could push it beyond its limits. Only by forcing his concept into it could he awaken its true power.

He drew in a steady and stepped forward.

The moment his sword fell, he poured everything into that single strike. The Saint Origin Sword Art surged through the blade while his concept followed closely behind, the two clashing violently within his control. The energy trembled, unstable and unwilling to fuse, yet Max forced them together through sheer determination.

The strike reached the mountain.

And nothing happened.

There was no sound, no tremor, no visible change. The mountain stood as it always had, vast and immovable, as though his attack had never existed. The stillness pressed against him, heavy and suffocating.

Even Maxʼs expression shifted as doubt crept into his mind. For a fleeting moment, he questioned himself. Had he failed to grasp the essence of the sword art? Had his strike been too weak to leave even the slightest mark?

”Is my sword strike a dud?” Max wondered frowning seeing no scratch to the mountain.

Then something changed.

A line appeared.

It was so thin that it almost did not exist, beginning at the point where his blade had struck. It stretched forward in silence, gliding across the surface of the mountain with an eerie precision. Maxʼs eyes followed it as it extended further and further, reaching distances far beyond what he could normally perceive.

Still, there was no reaction.

The mountain did not tremble. The air did not stir.

Everything remained exactly the same.

Max did not move. A strange unease settled in his chest as his instincts warned him that what he saw was not the truth.

Without hesitation, he activated his Dimensional Sovereign Body and let his perception sink deep into the mountain.

In that instant, everything became clear.

Maxʼs pupils contracted sharply.

His breath stopped.

The mountain was already divided.

Not broken. Not damaged.

Completely severed in two.

The cut was so precise, so absolute, that the two halves remained perfectly aligned, as if they had never been separated. There was no collapse, no falling debris, no sign of destruction. The blade had passed through with such overwhelming authority that the mountain had not even realized it had been cut.

For a moment, Max felt his mind go blank.

A deep shock rose from within him, far stronger than anything he had expected. This was no ordinary sword strike. It was something that defied his understanding, something that stood on a level he had not yet reached. The realization struck him with force.

It truly felt like a sword art of the Sword Saint now.

A faint chill ran through his body as the weight of that truth settled into his mind. Even with his current strength, even with his comprehension, he had only touched the surface of what this technique truly represented.

Max slowly lowered his sword.

His voice was calm, yet beneath that calm was a firm and unshakable resolve.

”So this… is the true power of the Saint Origin Sword Art.”

The silence lingered after Maxʼs words, heavy and suffocating, as though the world itself had yet to catch up with what had just occurred.

Then the mountain responded.

A deep and distant rumble spread through its massive structure, subtle at first, almost impossible to detect unless one paid close attention. The thin line that Max had drawn across its surface slowly deepened, revealing a truth that had been hidden beneath that unnatural stillness.

The mountain began to part.

The movement was slow, deliberate, and absolute, as if the outcome had already been decided long before it revealed itself. The two halves shifted away from each other with perfect precision, the separation extending from where Max stood to a distance so far that even his enhanced perception could not fully trace its end.

There was no violent collapse, no chaos, no sound of destruction.

Only a clean, undeniable division.

Max watched it unfold without moving, his expression calm, yet his eyes carried a depth that reflected the weight of what he had just witnessed. Even though he had already seen the truth through his Dimensional Sovereign Body, witnessing the mountain physically separate brought a far greater impact.

This was not destruction.

This was something far more terrifying.

Before he could dwell further on that realization, a cold and emotionless voice echoed across the space.

[Damage Evaluation Complete]

The voice paused briefly, as if processing something far beyond ordinary parameters, before continuing with a series of assessments.

[Analyzing Depth of Impact…]

[Analyzing Range of Effect…]

[Analyzing Energy Consumption…]

[Analyzing Structural Disruption…]

Each word seemed to carry a strange weight, as though the system itself was struggling to fully define what had just been executed.

Max remained silent, his grip on the sword steady, while his gaze stayed fixed ahead. He understood that this trial was not simply measuring raw power, but something far more refined. It was judging precision, control, and the fundamental nature of the technique itself.

The results began to appear.

[Weapon Trial: Sword Path]

[Participant: Max Morgan]

[Technique Used: Saint Origin Sword Art]

[Damage Assessment: Absolute Severance]

[Penetration Depth: Complete]

[Range of Effect: Beyond Measurable Parameters]

[Energy Efficiency: Perfect Conversion]

[Control and Precision: Flawless Execution]

The information settled into place with a quiet finality, yet the system did not stop there.

A brief pause followed, one that felt longer than it should have.

Then the final evaluation appeared.

[Final Score: 100/100]

[Evaluation: Supreme Grade]

[Result: Perfect Completion]

For a moment, everything fell silent again.

Max looked at the panel without speaking, his expression unreadable, yet within his eyes there was a subtle shift. A perfect score was expected after such a strike made Max smile.

Then, as if responding to something unseen, the panel flickered again.

The voice of the system returned, this time carrying a faint distortion that had not been present before.

[Hidden Condition Detected]

[Performance Exceeds Standard Limits]

[Re-evaluating Score…]

The light of the panel trembled slightly as the values began to change.

[Final Score: 120/100]

[Evaluation: Transcendent Grade]

[Result: Limit-Break Completion]

[Reward Tier: Highest Inheritance Unlocked]

The new result settled into place, radiating a presence far more imposing than before.

Maxʼs eyes narrowed slightly as he took in the change, a quiet understanding forming within him. A score that exceeded the maximum limit was not something that should exist within a controlled trial. This was no longer a simple acknowledgment of skill. It was recognition of something that stood beyond the boundaries of the system itself.

”I guess using the sword art of the Sword Saint himself has its perks.”

He lowered his gaze for a brief moment, his thoughts steady as the weight of that realization settled within him.

When he looked up again, his expression had returned to calm, yet there was now a firm and unyielding determination hidden beneath that calm exterior.

His fingers tightened slightly around the hilt of his sword as he spoke in a low and steady voice.

”Even so this Saint Origin Sword Art and my concept are still conflicting. I will need a long time before I will be able to use my concept with the sword art without causing any conflict.”
