Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1498  Ascension to 2nd Rate Forces?

”He did it. He defeated the elven woman on the ninety-eighth floor.”

Joeʼs voice suddenly rang out loudly across the area as he rose to his feet in complete shock. His calm and confident demeanor from earlier had completely disappeared. The expression on his face was filled with disbelief as his eyes remained fixed on the projection showing the inside of the Combat Legion Tower.

For thousands of years the Combat Tower had been in the possession of the Violet Star Palace before one of the towers had eventually been given away to the Black Dragon Clan through an ancient wager between their ancestors.

During all those years countless disciples from Violet Star Palace had attempted to conquer the tower. Many of those disciples had been extraordinary geniuses who stood at the peak of their generation.

Yet none of them had ever succeeded in defeating the elven woman guarding the ninety eighth floor.

Her existence had slowly turned into a legend within the tower.

Every disciple who reached that floor had eventually fallen to her overwhelming strength. Even the most talented prodigies who had come close to victory had ultimately failed against her terrifying speed and the power of her Heavenly Luminance Sacred Bloodline.

Over time the thought of defeating her had gradually transformed into something almost mythical.

For the disciples of Violet Star Palace she had become an invincible figure within the Combat Tower. Her presence on the ninety eighth floor symbolized an absolute wall that no one had ever managed to break through.

Joe himself knew this better than anyone.

Earlier he had spoken confidently about Maxʼs talent and had even compared him to the geniuses nurtured by the first rate forces of the Divine Realm. However deep within his heart he had never truly believed that Max would be able to defeat the elven woman.

The difference in strength between the warriors on the ninety seventh floor and the ninety eighth floor was enormous. The elven woman was not simply another guardian of the tower. She was a legendary existence whose fragment had dominated that floor for thousands of years.

Yet Max had done the impossible.

Not only had he defeated her, he had done it with astonishing ease.

The battle had been swift and decisive. From the moment Max unleashed his final burst of speed to the instant the elven woman dissolved into golden motes of light, the entire fight had ended before many of the spectators could even process what had happened.

Joe stood there staring at the projection in stunned silence as the realization slowly settled in his mind.

Max had just accomplished something that none of the geniuses from Violet Star Palace had ever managed to achieve in thousands of years.

Joe turned his gaze toward the seven family heads of the Black Dragon Clan and spoke with a thoughtful expression.

”It seems the invitation to the training camp was worth it,” he said calmly. ”With Maxʼs talent, I believe he will definitely shock all the forces participating in the training camp.”

He paused for a moment before continuing.

”And the Cosmic Ascension Conference is still a few years away. If Max manages to increase his strength even further during that time, there is a real chance he might create miracles there as well. If that happens, your Black Dragon Clan could rise to become a second rate force, and perhaps even one of the strongest first rate forces.”

This time Joe did not speak with the arrogance he often displayed earlier. His tone carried the warmth of someone speaking honestly to allies rather than rivals. Watching Maxʼs performance inside the Combat Legion Tower had changed his perspective. He now clearly understood that the Black Dragon Clan had discovered something extraordinary.

They had not merely found a talented disciple.

They had discovered a gem.

An unpolished gem whose potential seemed to defy the natural limits placed upon ordinary geniuses.

Hearing Joeʼs words filled the seven family heads with quiet excitement. Smiles appeared across their faces as they exchanged glances with each other. For a long time the Black Dragon Clan had been regarded as one of the weakest third rate forces within the Divine Realm. Because of that, their ambitions had always remained modest.

Simply rising to become one of the strongest third rate forces would have already satisfied them.

However even that goal had always seemed incredibly difficult to achieve.

Everything in the Divine Realm revolved around strength and talent. A force could only rise higher if it possessed geniuses capable of standing against the prodigies of other powerful factions. Without such individuals it was almost impossible to change oneʼs position in the hierarchy of the Divine Realm.

And that hierarchy was determined by one single event.

The Cosmic Ascension Conference.

As its name suggested, the Cosmic Ascension Conference was not a simple tournament held within a single star realm or region. It was an event that encompassed the entire Divine Realm itself.

During the conference, geniuses from countless star realms gathered to compete against one another. Participants came from forces of every level. Disciples from third rate forces, rising talents from powerful second rate factions, and even terrifying prodigies nurtured by the first rate forces all appeared within the same arena.

The number of geniuses who participated in this conference reached an unimaginable scale.

The total number could easily reach into the trillions.

At first glance that number sounded impossible. Yet within the vastness of the Divine Realm it was nothing unusual. No one knew the exact number of star realms scattered across the Divine Realm. The universe contained countless worlds filled with cultivators, each one producing its own generation of geniuses.

The Cosmic Ascension Conference welcomed participants from all of those star realms.

This alone revealed the unimaginable scale of the event.

Across the Divine Realm, every powerful force paid close attention to the results of this conference. The performance of their disciples during the tournament determined their future standing within the hierarchy of the realm.

A force that produced outstanding geniuses could rise from third rate to second rate.

A second rate force that displayed overwhelming strength might ascend to the ranks of the first rate forces.

On the other hand, forces whose disciples failed to perform well could fall in status and lose the influence they once possessed.

Because of this, the Cosmic Ascension Conference was far more than just a competition.

It was the event that reshaped the balance of power throughout the entire Divine Realm.

For that very reason, the Cosmic Ascension Conference was widely regarded as the greatest occasion in the entire Divine Realm. Every genius who wished to carve their name into history dreamed of standing upon that stage and proving their strength before the countless powers watching from across the cosmos.
