Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1340  Divine Colosseum

Max slowed his steps as he stood before the massive structure of the Divine Colosseum and studied it carefully. His brows furrowed as his Three Dimensional Body extended outward, probing the space before him, yet it met an unusual resistance.

No matter how deeply he tried to peer inside, his perception stopped abruptly, as if something vast and deliberate was blocking his sight. The sensation was unmistakable, and it made his instincts sharpen immediately.

”A barrier has been placed here,” Max thought with certainty.

As he crossed the threshold and entered through the grand entrance, a subtle yet undeniable change occurred. His 5th level concept of space trembled slightly, while his Three Dimensional Body sent out a clear warning.

The space around him felt compressed and isolated, as if he had stepped into a sealed pocket of reality cut off from the rest of the city. Acting on instinct, Max turned around to look back the way he had come, and only then did he notice it.

A transparent wall stood silently behind him, perfectly smooth and almost invisible unless one looked closely. He was certain that it had not been visible from the outside.

Max reached out and placed his palm against the transparent barrier. As expected, it did not yield in the slightest. There was no ripple, no distortion, and no response to his strength. The wall simply existed, absolute and unmovable.

”So once you enter, there is no turning back,” Max murmured to himself. ”Freedom really does have to be earned here.”

He did not linger on the thought. Turning away from the barrier, Max moved deeper into the Divine Colosseum. As he advanced, the internal structure of the place became clearer to him. The Colosseum was divided into three distinct sections.

Above ground lay the massive spectator stands where countless eyes would watch battles unfold. At the heart of it all was the arena itself, a vast space meant solely for blood, combat, and survival. Beneath everything else was the underground area, where the ascendants who had yet to earn their freedom lived.

It was into this underground section that Max soon arrived. The moment he stepped inside, he was met with a scene that sharply contrasted his expectations. Instead of warriors sharpening blades or cultivators preparing desperately for combat, he saw groups of ascendants scattered throughout the area, sitting, standing, and talking as if this were simply another place to live.

Some leaned against stone walls, others sat cross legged in quiet cultivation, while a few chatted casually in small groups.

Before Max could take more than a few steps forward, voices reached his ears.

”Look, another newbie is here,” someone said, pointing openly in his direction.

”These newbies really think they can win ten consecutive matches?” another voice scoffed. ”What nonsense.”

”Yeah, there have been more newcomers in the Colosseum these past few years,” a third person added with a laugh. ”But what does it matter? Every single one of them failed. Winning ten battles in a row here is almost impossible.”

”They probably heard this was the fastest way to gain freedom and rushed over,” someone else said with clear amusement.

Laughter spread through the underground area, not cruel but dismissive, as many pairs of eyes turned toward Max and the few other newcomers who had entered alongside him. To them, these fresh ascenders were nothing more than naïve fools chasing an impossible dream.

Max remained silent as he listened, his expression calm and unreadable. He took in the surroundings, the people, and the atmosphere of resignation that lingered beneath the laughter.

Just then, a man broke away from the crowd and walked toward Max and the few other newcomers who had arrived alongside him. His demeanor was relaxed, almost friendly, and there was a faint smile on his face that did not quite reach his eyes.

”You all just made the worst decision of your lives by coming here,” the man said calmly, his tone oddly casual. ”But I will also say this much. If you truly have enough strength, your life here will still be better than rotting away in the mines.” He gestured with his hand toward the deeper part of the underground area. ”Come with me. I will explain the rules of the Divine Colosseum.”

Max and the other newcomers exchanged brief glances before following the man. As they walked, the underground corridors stretched endlessly in every direction, lit by dim crystalline lights embedded in the walls. The air carried a faint metallic scent mixed with something heavier, something that reminded Max of dried blood and long standing despair.

”In the fighting arena,” the man began without slowing his steps, ”there are no rules.” His voice echoed softly through the corridor. ”Once you step into the arena, anything goes. If you defeat your opponent, you can choose to kill them or spare them. That choice is entirely yours.”

He paused briefly and then continued. ”However, fighting or killing in the underground area is strictly forbidden. Because of that, you do not need to worry about being bullied or attacked while you are resting here.”

He stopped for a moment and turned to face the group, his expression growing more serious. ”As for earning your freedom, the process is simple in theory. You will only be granted the chance to fight the Grim Gladiator after achieving ten consecutive victories in the colosseum. Once you defeat the Grim Gladiator, your freedom is guaranteed.”

A bitter smile crossed his face as he spoke again. ”But do not misunderstand. It is far easier to say than to accomplish. Many of us have been here for years, and none of us have managed to achieve ten consecutive victories. Even among the rare geniuses who did reach that milestone, not a single one has defeated the Grim Gladiator.”

They soon arrived at another section of the underground area. Max slowed his steps as he looked around. This place was lined with countless doors arranged neatly along the stone walls. Some doors had names carved into small metal plates beside them, while others remained blank and unmarked. The corridor felt quiet here, heavy with a sense of permanence, as if those who entered were expected to stay far longer than they ever intended.

”This is where you will live,” the man said, gesturing broadly at the rows of doors. ”Pick an empty room and settle in for today. Starting tomorrow, hell will truly begin.” He let out a short laugh, one filled more with resignation than humor, before turning around and leaving the newcomers behind.

Max remained standing there for a moment, his gaze sweeping over the doors and the silent corridor.

ʼFrom the looks of it... Nobody here has level up beyond the Divine Rank that means the opponents I will be fighting will be of peak Divine Rank too.ʼ He thought smiling. ʼI guess this will be an easy breeze for me.ʼ
