Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 1290  End of demons in Nullaria

The battlefield stretched endlessly in every direction, littered with the broken, twisted bodies of demons. The stench of burnt flesh, scorched earth, and dissipating demonic energy hung thick in the air.

Pools of dark blood soaked into the ground, forming scattered patches of corruption that were already beginning to fade as the demonic essence lost its vitality. Here and there, human geniuses could still be seen engaging the last remaining demons, striking them down with practiced precision.

These final enemies were too weak to be considered threats, and the young cultivators were using them simply to sharpen their blades and refine their battle instincts. The chaos that once filled the region had reduced to quiet clusters of finishing blows. Victory was already certain.

Max descended from the sky, the air rippling around him as he landed beside the seven squad leaders. Dust rose with the force of his arrival before settling again over the battlefield corpses. Victor was the first to step forward, wiping a faint smear of blood from his cheek as he looked at Max with a tired but satisfied smile.

”How is it?” Max asked, his tone steady as he surveyed the aftermath of the battle.

”Everything is going well,” Victor replied, nodding with clear pride. ”In fact, the situation on our side is already resolved. Only a few demons are still alive, and the squad members are cleaning them up. It will not take long before the entire battlefield is completely cleared.”

Max swept his gaze across the field. He saw discipline in the movements of his fighters, confidence in their posture, and determination in their eyes. The teams he had trained were no longer the inexperienced geniuses they once were. They had grown sharper, stronger, more coordinated.

”Good,” Max said with a nod. ”I have handled the demons on my end as well. As for the ones still hiding across Nullaria, there is no need to worry. They are being taken care of.”

The squad leaders exchanged glances, unable to make sense of the final statement. None of them knew about Nero or the task Max had issued. They simply understood that Max carried a confidence that left no room for doubt.

”Once everything here is concluded,” Max continued, ”create a temporary settlement nearby. A small, secure location where everyone can rest and restore their strength. You have all been fighting for many hours. Take this time to recover fully.” His eyes swept across each leader, silently acknowledging the strain and fatigue they carried beneath their hardened expressions. ”It will not be long before we leave this place.”

The seven leaders straightened, nodding with respect and acceptance. Maxʼs decisions had guided them through every danger so far. None of them questioned his judgment. As they dispersed to carry out his instructions, Max remained standing at the center of the battlefield, the wind carrying away the last traces of demonic presence.

The war in Nullaria was nearly over. Only one final step remained before the region would be truly cleansed.

Max returned to the area where he had fought the four demon kings. The ground was still scarred from the violence of the battle. Deep craters marked the places where overwhelming power had collided, and faint traces of demonic aura lingered in the air like the fading echo of a storm.

Max lifted his hand and flicked his fingers gently. A powerful suction force erupted around him as he summoned the devouring ability. The corpses of the four demon kings dissolved into streaks of energy and rushed into him, leaving not a single fragment behind.

Their essence vanished completely. Max had done the same for the demons that Victor and the other squads had defeated earlier. He had consumed every remnant of demonic power across the field, leaving the battlefield utterly cleansed of their presence.

A quiet thought flickered through his mind. ʼI am close to leveling up to the Divine Rank.ʼ He could feel it in every part of his body. His veins burned with power, his soul thrummed with restless intensity, and the energy swirling within him felt ready to break through its current limits. ʼJust one more push and I will enter the Divine Rank.ʼ

The feeling was unmistakable. He had reached the precipice of a breakthrough that many cultivators spent centuries chasing.

Max sat down on a boulder beside the ruins of the battlefield and allowed time to pass. He spent the day in contemplation, thinking about every technique he had used, every concept he had comprehended, and every step that had brought him to this point.

The destruction of the demon kings, the completion of Neroʼs soul seal, the cleansing of Nullaria—all of these events painted a path forward. He considered the future battles that awaited him, the Divine Realm he would one day ascend to, and the many threats beyond this world that he would soon have to face. His expression remained calm, but his mind was in motion the entire time.

By the time the night faded and early morning arrived, Max opened his eyes as a familiar presence approached at incredible speed. Nero descended from the sky and landed before him silently. His aura was vastly diminished compared to earlier, not because his power was gone but because he restrained it consciously. Even so, a faint oppressive darkness radiated from him, strong enough to make the air heavy.

The moment the human geniuses noticed a demon appearing on the battlefield, alarms went up across the entire settlement the squads had built. Several geniuses unsheathed their weapons and prepared for combat.

Others surrounded the area, their bodies tensed and ready to strike. Neroʼs arrival felt like a storm descending from the sky, and the humans reacted instinctively to the danger.

Max stood up and lifted his hand calmly. ”Relax. Stand down,” he said as his voice spread across the settlement. The geniuses hesitated but obeyed. Max turned toward them and spoke clearly, ”There is no need to worry about this demon. His name is Nero, and he is my slave.”

The words struck the humans like a thunderclap. Shock rippled through the crowd as everyone stared at Max in disbelief. Even the seven squad leaders, who had witnessed many impossible things since meeting Max, couldnʼt hide their astonishment.

They could feel Neroʼs presence clearly. His aura was heavier, colder, and more terrifying than anything Balthazar had radiated. The power within him was something they could barely comprehend. Yet this demon knelt before Max in complete submission.

A silence spread across the battlefield as every genius realized one undeniable truth. If a demon of Neroʼs caliber was reduced to servitude under Max, then the gap between them and Max was far greater than they had ever imagined. Max had surpassed even the highest expectations they had placed on him.

The war in Nullaria had ended. And Max stood at the center of it all, stronger than ever, with a demon king at his command.
