Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 985: Confrontation

”Black Lotus Guild?” Tower Lord Mathew’s voice broke the silence, sharp and disbelieving. His pupils contracted violently as recognition struck him.

Why were they here? How did they know of this place?

He clenched his fists, his mind racing. The Black Lotus Guild wasn’t a minor faction that could be dismissed or silenced easily. They were assassins, shadows that spread across the Middle Domain, feared by many forces, families, and even some big guilds.

They were neutral, they sold their blades for coin, but they were also infamous for knowing secrets they were never supposed to know.

And if the elders of the Black Lotus Guild had come here personally, masked and cloaked, all of them at the Divine Rank...

Tower Lord Mathew’s heart sank like a stone.

This wasn’t just a coincidence. This was a death knell.

He knew with chilling clarity—now that the Black Lotus Guild had laid eyes on the demons, the secret was no longer theirs to protect. No matter what happened next, the truth would not remain buried.

The existence of demons in the Middle Domain was out of the bag.

And when that truth spread, the entire Middle Domain would burn.

Max didn’t remain idle amidst the storm.

The moment the hooded figures of the Black Lotus Guild revealed themselves, he immediately began transmitting everything he had seen—every word, every sight, every secret he had uncovered within the underground world—to the arriving elders.

His voice rang clear in their minds, leaving nothing out: the humanoid beasts unmasking themselves, the hidden chambers, the demonic transformations, and the very meeting where Tower Lord Mathew and Thunder Lord Xander sat side by side with the beasts.

When the Black Lotus elders heard it, a heavy silence swept through them. Even they, who prided themselves on knowing truths no one else could, were shaken. Their gazes shifted toward Leone, the lion-headed beast wreathed in golden flames, his towering figure roaring with power, and then toward the other monstrous beings standing proudly around Mathew and Xander.

The air grew so heavy with killing intent that the entire hidden city seemed to shudder.

The chaos had already spread.

When Max was blasted through the ceilings earlier, ripping through walls and foundations, the violent collapse shook the underground world to its core. It was like lighting a torch in a dry forest—panic spread. Many of the humanoid monsters hidden within, disturbed by the tremors and noise, were forced out of the shadows.

They emerged from shattered stairways, from broken walls, from void-linked passages—pouring into the hidden city in grotesque numbers. Their monstrous appearances, half-human and half-beast, drew gasps of disgust and dread from those witnessing them for the first time.

The truth was undeniable now.

The Void Soul Tower and Thunder Monarch Hall were harboring creatures not of this world.

”To think that you, Mathew... and you, Xander... would be traitors to the human race.”

The words were sharp as a blade. One of the Black Lotus Guild elders finally stepped forward, his black cloak swaying faintly though there was no wind. He removed his mask, revealing an aged face with sharp eyes that seemed to pierce through all lies. His voice carried calm authority that cut through the chaos.

It was Elder Owen, the First Elder of the Black Lotus Guild.

Tower Lord Mathew’s face tightened, but he did not speak. Thunder Lord Xander’s hands trembled faintly, whether from anger or unease was unclear. The silence was enough of an answer.

”Elder Owen, I presume?” Elder Liam finally spoke, his tone composed even though his own heart was unsettled. ”Max informed me of your arrival.”

Elder Owen’s sharp eyes flicked to Liam and then to Max, who stood slightly behind, still cloaked in dust but unwavering. A small nod escaped him. ”Elder Liam. It has been a long time since our paths crossed.”

Then his attention returned to the monsters filling the hidden city. His gaze lingered longest on Leone, golden flames licking around his massive frame like a crown of infernal power. His tone dropped low, heavy with killing intent.

”These are no ordinary beasts. They reek of a bloodline long thought extinct... Direkins. Slaves of the ancient demons.”

The word alone sent a ripple of unease through the human cultivators present. Direkins—creatures said to have vanished with the great demon war.

Elder Owen’s expression turned into a cold, merciless mask as he looked between the snarling beasts and the two human lords who had harbored them.

”So tell me,” he said, his voice cutting like steel. ”How should we deal with these Direkins... and with the two traitors standing among them?”

The hall fell silent. Leone’s golden mane burned brighter, Mathew and Xander stiffened, and the weight of impending slaughter pressed down on all sides.

”What’s there to think about?” The moment Elder Liam’s cold words cut through the tense air, the atmosphere shifted into one of battle.

His body radiated sharp killing intent as the 4th level spear concept manifested around him, swirling like a storm of countless unseen spears ready to pierce heaven and earth. His gaze was firm, merciless, directed at the Direkins with no hesitation.

”Since they are Direkins—slaves of the demons—there is nothing to think about. We should kill them all. As for the traitors of the human race... we will deal with them later. Our first priority is the Direkins.”

Elder Owen’s lips curled into a grim smile. Black flames erupted around his body, consuming the air, each flicker of fire exuding the aura of despair and annihilation. ”That’s the plan then. Everyone... kill them all!”

At his command, the six elders of the Black Lotus Guild moved in unison. Their black flames roared to life like an inferno, rising into the sky above the hidden city and blotting out the dim light.

In an instant, their Divine Rank auras pressed down on the battlefield, suffocating every weaker being in range. They streaked forward like shadows of death, crashing into the hordes of Direkins.

The impact was immediate. Direkins shrieked and roared as the elders struck, bodies torn apart, flames burning furiously. Even though the monsters’ numbers were massive—hundreds scattered across the ruins—not many had reached Divine Rank.

Against the killing might of the Black Lotus elders, they were nothing more than prey before predators. Limbs and heads flew. Flames devoured fur and hide. The ground itself cracked and quaked from the overwhelming force of their blows.

But just when it seemed the Direkins would be swept aside, a booming roar shook the entire hidden city.

”All my brothers, heed my orders—fight back!”

The voice belonged to Leone, his golden flames exploding outward as his massive lion form shrank back, transforming once more into his humanoid body—towering, broad-shouldered, his lion head blazing like a sun. His roar was like thunder, and it resonated through the void passages below.

A tremor followed.

From the underground chambers, from broken caverns, from the shattered stairways leading into the void, more Direkins surged upward. One after another, they poured into the hidden city like a dark tide. The ground rumbled under the weight of their numbers.

Their numbers climbed into the thousands.

The sky above the hidden city darkened with the shadows of monstrous wings and towering bodies. The streets became rivers of claws and fangs. The air filled with the stench of blood and beastly fury.

Leone’s face twisted with ruthlessness as he spread his arms wide, his golden flames rising higher, reflecting in the terrified eyes of the remaining humans present. His voice was a snarl, yet carried the calm of one who had long expected this day.

”I didn’t think we would be exposed this early... but it matters not. Our plans are already set. We have achieved most of what we needed. Even if we die here, the seed has already been planted!”

With that, Leone launched himself forward, his golden flames condensing into a gigantic lion phantom roaring above his head. His target—Elder Liam and Elder Owen.

The battlefield erupted.

The clash of human powerhouses and Direkin beasts shook the hidden city to its core.
