Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 911: Kevin vs Monk

Kevin’s eyes were cold and unyielding as he stared at the big-bellied monk, his tone filled with venom. ”What is this thing? Why is it so strange?” he asked, his eyes darting briefly toward the black stone behind the monk.

”Don’t worry about it for now. I will tell you after you get it. Trust me, boy, I can swear on my soul—this is definitely a treasure worth killing for,” Old Devil Dave’s hoarse and sinister voice whispered inside Kevin’s mind, dripping with greed and confidence.

Kevin’s lips curled into a faint smirk. ”Fine... but first, let’s kill this monk.” His gaze sharpened, locking onto the monk’s figure. Murderous intent surged from his body like waves crashing against a cliff.

The big-bellied monk, who had been watching quietly, suddenly clasped his hands together and said calmly, ”My dear donor, I can see the murderous intent in your eyes.” His voice was tranquil, but there was a trace of sadness in his tone, as though he regretted the path Kevin had chosen.

Kevin sneered, not bothering to conceal his intentions. ”Fat monk, you are right.” He stepped forward slowly, his every movement filled with lethal determination, his black robe fluttering as though stirred by an unseen wind.

The monk lowered his eyes slightly and intoned solemnly, ”Amitabha. Benefactor, the Buddha once said: if you put down your butcher’s knife, you will become a Buddha instantly. Please abandon your murderous thoughts and convert to Buddhism. It is never too late to return to the right path.”

Kevin’s reply was sharp and biting, ”Fat monk, you talk too much.” His voice carried an icy chill, devoid of even a hint of hesitation.

The big-bellied monk let out a deep sigh, his expression still calm despite Kevin’s killing intent. ”Since the donor is so persistent, I can only send you to see the Buddha personally.” His eyes suddenly flashed with light as his hands, previously clasped together, opened in a smooth motion.

With a single swift movement, a spear-shaped beam of golden Buddha light burst forth, tearing through the air like a bolt of divine lightning. The immense pressure it carried instantly distorted the space in its path.

Kevin’s pupils shrank. He had never expected this fat monk, who seemed overly peaceful and talkative, to strike so suddenly and so decisively. There had been no hesitation, no wasted motion—only an overwhelming intent to kill.

”Tch!” Kevin quickly responded, raising his hands to conjure a swirling black shield of poisonous energy, a technique unique to the Void Soul Tower. The moment the Buddha light spear struck, a thunderous bang echoed through the cavern, shaking the ground and sending shockwaves outward.

Kevin was driven back several steps, the shield on his arm trembling violently from the impact. Though he managed to block the attack, his arms went numb and a metallic taste rose in his mouth.

The big-bellied monk, however, did not show joy at landing a strike. Instead, his face grew even more solemn. He could sense that Kevin was not an ordinary expert—the boy’s foundation was sinister and terrifying, his body filled with dark, corrosive energy that few could withstand.

Kevin’s eyes flared with killing intent. He lowered his body, his form blurring into a refraction-like streak of black light, and in the blink of an eye, he closed the distance between them.

Both of Kevin’s palms shot out in a rapid sequence, one after another, slamming down like mountains collapsing from the sky. Each palm strike carried inky-black energy swirling with poisonous mist, releasing a chilling and oppressive aura that made the scalp tingle and the skin crawl.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The force behind these palm strikes was relentless and overwhelming, shaking the very cavern walls.

The big-bellied monk grunted, his feet sliding back across the rocky ground. He hastily drew on the full extent of his strength, Buddha’s light swirling around him as he brought his palms together in a defensive stance, forming an aureate shield of divine power to withstand the poisonous palm prints raining down like a storm.

Even so, the monk’s body trembled slightly with each collision, and his expression turned grim. Kevin’s strength was sharper and more venomous than he had anticipated.

”Kevin, it seems I have underestimated you.” The big-bellied monk’s tone turned cold, his previously calm expression replaced by one of faint hostility.

Kevin’s eyes narrowed dangerously, his voice deep and sharp like a blade scraping against metal. ”Since you know who I am, you still dare to kill me, fat monk. It seems you’re really bold.” His hands moved in a blur, black energy swirling like coiling serpents as his palms crossed each other repeatedly, pushing forward like a ghost drifting through the darkness.

The monk’s face retained its seemingly benevolent appearance, yet his actions told a different story—a kind face hiding a cruel and calculating heart.

His chubby arms swept out with deceptive speed, and Buddha’s light erupted from his palms—but then something shocking happened. The golden radiance suddenly darkened, twisting unnaturally until it turned pitch-black, exuding a chilling yin aura so dense it almost felt tangible.

In the blink of an eye, that black energy condensed into a massive black sledgehammer, glowing faintly with sinister light, and hummed as if eager to shatter everything in its path.

Kevin’s eyes widened in disbelief. ”How is that possible? Aren’t you a member of the Bright Buddha Palace? How can you wield yin energy like this? Buddha power and yin energy repel each other—it’s impossible to merge them.” His shock was genuine, because what he was witnessing was not simply unorthodox—it was unnatural.

For as long as he could remember, the Bright Buddha Palace was synonymous with purity and righteous cultivation methods. No monk would ever merge Buddha power with yin power, and even those who secretly practiced yin arts would never dare manifest it so blatantly. Yet here, standing before him, this so-called monk wasn’t simply using yin energy—it was perfectly fused into his Buddhist techniques.

Kevin’s mind spun. Was this person really a Bright Buddha monk? Or had he long since strayed from the righteous path? But before he could question further, the monk’s voice roared like a temple bell, cutting through his thoughts.

”Donor, there is no need for you to know.” His fat hands gripped the black sledgehammer tightly, swinging it down in a sweeping arc that split the air like a falling mountain.
