Unlocking the Innate Kidney Body, Both Immortals and Demons Cried!

3: Damn it!“Yes! I had a Breakthrough!”

“The Breakthrough from three years of steady accumulation has doubled my strength. You must have felt it, too. My strength after the Breakthrough is greater than yours, so...”

Su Yang paused, then said coldly, “So if you’re here to cause trouble today, I advise you to be sensible. You are 100% not my opponent. Now, I’m speaking to you nicely for the last time: Get out of the way!”

Jiang Muchen, who was already annoyed, felt his fragile self-esteem provoked even further by these words.

Anger was clearly visible on his face.

“You say I’m not your opponent??? Hahaha, you might not know, but I was the first Disciple to have a Breakthrough at this year’s Foundation Establishment Ceremony, and I broke the Sect’s twenty-year Breakthrough record. The Sect Master praised me in front of everyone as the most promising Disciple in the last twenty years.”

“You say I’m not your opponent?”

“What are you, a late bloomer who only reached Foundation Establishment at 18, bragging about here? Calling you Senior Brother normally was just me being polite; you actually think you’re worthy of being my Senior Brother, huh?”

“Today, let’s have a match right here and let you know what a real gap in strength looks like!”

Jiang Muchen wanted to prove his strength as the Sect’s most promising Disciple in twenty years in front of everyone. His true Qi erupted, and a silver sword appeared in his hand. He drew a formation with the sword, and more swords emerged from the Spell formation.

Su Yang was never one to swallow his anger.

Besides, he was leaving the Sect soon, so he wasn’t afraid of causing trouble anymore.

Since he couldn’t avoid it, he might as well just do it.

Su Yang formed hand seals, and a light blue Spell formation appeared before him.

The true Qi in his body, tempered by the Innate Kidney Body, possessed extraordinary power.

After the light blue Spell formation appeared, it immediately burst forth with a strong blue light.

“Water Dragon Blast!!!”

Jiang Muchen’s sword formation hadn’t even fully manifested when Su Yang’s water-element Spell was completed.

From the Spell formation, a Water Dragon roared out, breaking through Jiang Muchen’s incomplete sword formation with an irresistible force and carrying him along, slamming him into the courtyard wall twenty meters away.

The sturdy courtyard wall could not withstand the Water Dragon’s power, and the entire wall collapsed with a crash.

The Water Dragon, still going strong, carried Jiang Muchen and crashed into a large tree in the central courtyard, one that five people could barely embrace. Only then did it shatter with a roar, and Jiang Muchen was knocked unconscious on the spot by the immense force.

The tree, having suffered this impact, shed a large quantity of leaves.

“Holy crap…”

The onlookers were dumbfounded.

This Water Dragon Blast was the most basic water-element Spell, yet the power Su Yang displayed was so strong!? Was he sure he had entered the Foundation Establishment Stage and not the Core Formation Stage???

In fact, Su Yang himself hadn’t expected the power of this simple Spell to become so overbearing.

However, now was not the time to be happy.

Before the crowd could react, Su Yang suddenly said to them, “Anyone who still wants to challenge me, step forward now. If not, get out of the way immediately!”

Whoosh!

The onlookers uniformly cleared a path.

The Sect’s most promising Disciple in twenty years, personally endorsed by the Sect Master, had been instantly defeated by Su Yang. No one was so tactless, not even those who usually followed Jiang Muchen, dared to stand up for him at this moment.

“Idiot! Wasting my time!”

Su Yang cursed, quickening his pace towards his residence… During the time Su Yang was held up, Wen Yunyao had already returned to her mansion in the Sect’s core area.

“Yun Yao, you’re back.”

Before Wen Yunyao even entered the house, her mother, Sect Master’s wife Miao Qingsha, saw her daughter from afar and went to greet her. “Mother was just about to look for you. I didn’t see you all afternoon. Where did you go?”

“Mother… Where’s Father?”

“Your father is discussing upcoming Sect activities with the Elders.”

“Oh…”

Wen Yunyao nodded, her emotions already overflowing, and tears streamed down her face.

“What’s wrong, what’s wrong…”

Miao Qingsha was about to embrace her daughter to comfort her when an expression of disbelief suddenly appeared on her delicate and beautiful face.

Wen Yunyao thought her mother had discovered she had been bullied, and she cried even louder.

“Yun Yao, you… you actually had a Breakthrough???”

Miao Qingsha’s voice was filled with incredulity.

Her daughter had only officially entered the Foundation Establishment Stage last year. Although she had made progress this year, she had always lingered in the Foundation Establishment Stage - Early Phase. After disappearing for an afternoon and seeing her again, this girl had actually smoothly entered the Foundation Establishment Stage - Mid Phase.

“Ah???”

Wen Yunyao froze on the spot.

Tears were still falling, but her expression was stunned by this sudden news.

All the way back, she had been thinking about how that scoundrel Su Yang had taken liberties with her, and only when her mother reminded her did she notice that she had actually had a Breakthrough!

At this moment, she herself found it hard to believe.

Under normal circumstances, a Genius who could enter the Core Formation Stage within twenty years after entering the Foundation Establishment Stage would be considered a Genius. One who could enter the Core Formation Stage within ten years would be a rare chosen one among ten thousand.

Even based on a ten-year cycle, it would take at least three years to progress from Foundation Establishment Stage - Early Phase to Foundation Establishment Stage - Mid Phase.

Was she such a rare chosen one among ten thousand?

She certainly hoped she was such a chosen one.

But she clearly wasn’t.

Her sudden surge in strength led Wen Yunyao to only one conclusion: she had spent the afternoon with Su Yang, and then… then she had so shamefully improved.

Thinking back to that afternoon, a hot Spiritual Qi had continuously flowed within her body. Perhaps it was this Spiritual Qi, which entered her body from his, that had significantly increased her cultivation.

“Yun Yao, you were gone all afternoon. Did you secretly go to Cultivate by yourself?!”

“That’s wonderful! My daughter is simply a Genius! Look at you, you should be happy about your increased strength, why are you crying? Mother understands, you’re crying tears of joy, aren’t you?! There, there, no more crying. Mother is happy for you too!”

Miao Qingsha hugged her daughter, genuinely happy to see her daughter’s exceptional talent.

As for Wen Yunyao: “——”

She had originally wanted to cry and complain about Su Yang taking liberties with her, then ask her parents to kill him, but now the sudden increase in her strength left her mind a bit blank.

If she told her parents that her strength had increased because Su Yang had taken liberties with her, who knew what they would think!?

To be honest, she herself didn’t know if it was a blessing or a curse right now.

“A Breakthrough must have been very hard, right? How do you feel now? Is anything uncomfortable?”

Miao Qingsha asked three questions in a row.

Wen Yunyao’s face quickly flushed red because of these three questions.

Her Breakthrough today was indeed very hard, and if she had to describe how she felt, there was only one word: — — numb as hell!

This wasn’t swearing.

And precisely because it wasn’t swearing, her face grew even redder.

“Are you alright? Why is your face so red?”

“Mother, I… I…”

Wen Yunyao opened her mouth several times, wanting to tell her mother what had happened to her, wanting her parents to help her kill Su Yang for revenge, but several times the words reached her lips and she couldn’t say them.

Wen Yunyao thought for a moment and said, “Mother, I’m a bit tired. I’m going back to my room to rest first.”

“Yun Yao, why does your walking posture seem a bit off?”

“That… it might be because I sat for too long…”

Wen Yunyao’s face turned even redder, and she fled into her room as if escaping.

She had indeed sat on Su Yang for a very, very long time.

Back in her room.

Wen Yunyao lay tossing and turning on her bed.

“Should I tell my parents or not, and let them kill him?”

Wen Yunyao thought it over and over, and still felt it would be extremely shameful to tell her parents, and that it would certainly cause a series of other problems if they knew. Rather than that, why not… “Since my strength has already increased, I’ll just kill him myself!”

Wen Yunyao bit her pearly teeth, got up, and left through the back door, preparing to quietly go and kill Su Yang by herself…
