Perfect World : Many Children, Many Blessings, Starting with Liu Shen

Pregnant Kirin GirlAn hour later, a hazy warmth floated within the room.

Qilin Girl curled up in Shi Hao’s arms, her long eyelashes fluttering gently like a butterfly disturbed by a dream.

Her body seemed even softer than yesterday, the curves of her waist possessing a casual grace, her once petite frame now exuding the charm of early maturity.

Qilin Girl woke up.

Those eyes, once as clear as a young beast’s, slowly opened, yet a layer of mist welled up in them the moment she saw Shi Hao. She was stunned, seemingly unable to accept the changes that had occurred within her. She bit her lower lip sharply, tears rolling down instantly as if overwhelmed by some complex emotion, and suddenly struggled to get out of his embrace.

”Wuu... Big Scoundrel, Big Scoundrel...!”

Her voice still carried its tender, childish sweetness, but it now held a touch of hoarse trembling, as if her throat had been scalded by something scorching.

She hurriedly pushed Shi Hao away, her bare feet stepping onto the carpet. Her slender ankles seemed even longer than yesterday, and every step carried the clumsiness and shyness of a girl newly blossomed.

Just then, the bathroom door opened gently. Amidst the swirling steam, her mistress, Qilin Maiden, walked out slowly.

Her tears burst forth instantly, as if she had finally found something to rely on, and she stumbled into Qilin Maiden’s arms.

Her body was slightly feverish, carrying the unique warmth of the Qilin race, and her skin still retained the scent of last night, mixed with faint sandalwood and the sweetness of morning dew.

She buried her face deep into her mistress’s chest, her shoulders trembling slightly as she whimpered, ”Mistress... I, I have become so strange...”

Her mistress looked down at her, her fingertips brushing the tender little horns on her head, and chuckled, ”It is not strange, it is growing up.”

Qilin Girl looked up. Through tear-blurred eyes, that face, once devoid of maturity, was now imbued with the alluring charm of a young girl, yet her gaze remained as pure as before. Only, within that purity, there was now a hint of green, youthful dependence and longing that only her mistress could understand.

”You are both awake.” Suddenly, the room door opened, and Yun Xi, wearing a silk slip dress, entered carrying a lunch tray.

Seeing Qilin Girl crying in Qilin Maiden’s arms, she hurriedly comforted her, ”Don’t cry, don’t cry. Come over and drink some porridge, and you will be fine.” Yun Xi thought Qilin Girl was crying because of physical pain.

After setting down two bowls of specially prepared medicinal porridge, she went to Qilin Maiden’s side and picked up Qilin Girl from her arms.

Qilin Girl was as small as Xiao Bai and Taiyin Jade Rabbit, and in fact, she was even shorter than the other two.

Yun Xi easily held Qilin Girl in her arms and began to soothe her.

Held in Yun Xi’s arms, the crying Qilin Girl soon quieted down.

Then she accused Shi Hao of bullying her again just now.

Hearing Qilin Girl’s words, Yun Xi couldn’t help but laugh, ”So what if he bullies you? If he doesn’t bully you, how can you give birth to little Qilin? You are from the Qilin race, which is extinct in our era.”

”Your husband does this for your own good. In this era, there are no more Qilin, and it is no longer the Immortal Ancient Era. The heavy burden of the Qilin race rests on your shoulders.”

”You wouldn’t want the Qilin race to die out, would you? Now that you are the only one left, your husband is helping you propagate more of your Qilin kin.”

Hearing Yun Xi’s words, Qilin Girl finally realized that she and her mistress seemed to have come from the Immortal Ancient Era to this era they were unfamiliar with.

The Immortal Ancient Era had long since perished.

”And you too. Since you are now without support in this era, and have become your husband’s people, you are now one of us. As long as you focus on bearing your husband’s children, then you will have family in this era.”

Yun Xi looked at Qilin Maiden with soft eyes.

Being spoken to by Yun Xi, Qilin Maiden was stunned for a moment, not yet reacting.

”So my parents, they...” Qilin Maiden asked about her parents with a trace of sadness on her face.

”I don’t know about that.” Yun Xi shook her head.

She could not answer Qilin Maiden.

”Don’t move...” Just when Qilin Maiden didn’t know what to do.

Suddenly, a very soft voice sounded in the room.

Qilin Maiden and Qilin Girl looked toward the sound.

Then they saw Phoenix Girl covering her small mouth, and behind her was that man.

Seeing Qilin Maiden and Qilin Girl looking over.

Phoenix Girl’s face showed a trace of embarrassment as she said, ”Good afternoon... wait a moment.” Phoenix Girl looked back at Shi Hao with some shyness.

Hearing Phoenix Girl’s words, Shi Hao did not listen; instead, he leaned forward and kissed that cute face.

Seeing her friend and her man like this, Qilin Maiden’s face showed a trace of shame and anger.

”Scoundrel, stop it.” Qilin Maiden walked up to the two of them, draped in a bathrobe.

Qilin Girl also followed.

The two women directly reached out and pushed Shi Hao away.

But who was Shi Hao? Looking at the freshly bathed Qilin Maiden and smelling the scent that drove him crazy, Shi Hao couldn’t help but grab Qilin Maiden’s hand, pulling her directly into his arms along with Phoenix Girl.

Seeing her mistress being bullied by the Big Scoundrel, Qilin Girl became anxious. Bullying her was one thing, but bullying her mistress was intolerable.

Qilin Girl immediately jumped up and grabbed one of Shi Hao’s hands with both of hers.

Her entire petite body sat on Shi Hao’s head, trying very hard to stop Shi Hao from wanting to bully her mistress.

Watching the three of them playing around, Yun Xi couldn’t help but smile.

”Husband, don’t play too much. I’m going to feed the children first.” After instructing Shi Hao, Yun Xi turned and left, not forgetting to close the door as she did.

Three days later.

Shi Hao’s room.

The air in the room was filled with the faint scent of sandalwood and sweet, warm body fragrance, quiet and languid.

Qilin Maiden and Qilin Girl sat side by side on the edge of the bed, their fingers simultaneously brushing over their slightly protruding lower abdomens.

The loose, snow-white silk slip dresses hung softly, yet they could not hide the curve of their bellies—even though only three short days had passed, their waists had already undergone subtle changes. Beneath the soft curves, life was quietly gestating.

Qilin Girl lowered her head, her fingertips cautiously touching her stomach, her golden eyes wide open, filled with disbelief.

”Is, is it really there...?” Her voice trembled, carrying a hint of childish confusion, yet the corners of her eyes and brows were already imbued with the softness of new motherhood.

Beside her, Qilin Maiden’s face showed some panic. Her long fingers slowly stroked along the curve of her abdomen, and her red lips parted slightly, ”Three days... and I’m already pregnant?” Her tone carried the panic of new motherhood, her long legs, wrapped in white silk, unconsciously pressed together, and her toes tapped the ground lightly, as if to confirm that all of this was not an illusion.

The two looked up simultaneously and met each other’s eyes, both of their gazes reflecting the other’s shock and shyness.

”It’s all the Big Scoundrel’s fault...” Qilin Girl muttered softly, her earlobes turning red, though the corners of her mouth lifted involuntarily.

Qilin Maiden snorted softly, her fingertips twirling a lock of her hair as she said softly, ”I didn’t expect that I would really be pregnant.”

While the two women were immersed in the panic of pregnancy, a figure appeared behind them.

”I told you, you would soon become mothers. I didn’t lie to you, did I?” Shi Hao appeared behind the two women with a smile and reached out to wrap his arms around their slender waists.
