Perfect World : Many Children, Many Blessings, Starting with Liu Shen

This time I’ll make it up to you.”Has he left?” Yun Xi asked the Willow Deity in a low voice after waking up.

”He’s gone.” The Willow Deity chuckled and patted her.

Hearing the Willow Deity’s confirmation, Yun Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief. ”I have many memories in my mind... Is he... is he really my husband? I saw many blurry images.” Yun Xi wasn’t very sure; after being kissed by Shi Hao for a long time, many memories had automatically appeared in her mind.

In those memories, she had fallen in love with Shi Hao and stayed by his side; the memories felt so real.

They made it impossible for her to distinguish whether it was a memory or something that had actually happened in reality.

”As expected, you are quite special. Others only awaken their memories after Dual Cultivation with Shi Hao, yet you can see them just by kissing a few times. In Shi Hao’s heart, you are just as important as Fire Spirit, Qing Yi, and Yue Chan.”

Hearing the Willow Deity’s words, Yun Xi was confused.

Seeing Yun Xi’s confusion, the Willow Deity explained to her, ”Broadly speaking, everything you saw is real; those things did indeed happen. It’s just that in the future, Shi Hao’s strength ascended above the level of Immortal Emperor in order to win against those eerie armies.”

”Shi Hao thought of returning to the beginning—which is now—and then using the methods he devised to cultivate talents for future generations to combat the eeriness, all to buy himself more time.”

”So what you see is the truth. According to Shi Hao, he hasn’t just met us once, but many times. It’s just that every time the ending was the same. Because of that, he needed to make a change.”

”Thus, we have the present. He returned to the now, quickly found all of you, and then engaged in Dual Cultivation to sire offspring, raising the children quickly so they can grow up to deal with the eeriness Above the Heavens in the future.”

The Willow Deity lightly caressed Yun Xi’s face and said, ”You should have seen the images of those eerie armies, right? You also saw Shi Hao fighting countless eerie armies all alone. He suffers greatly; he has always been alone.”

”So we must help him, and the best way to help him is to stay by his side and bear his children.”

Yun Xi’s face couldn’t help but fill with shock upon hearing the Willow Deity’s words.

She recalled the fragmented images in her memory, among which was what the Willow Deity had mentioned.

A solitary back facing countless enemies; behind him was a shattered world where countless living beings wailed in sorrow. She even saw three figures who, in order to fight the enemy, sacrificed themselves to offer a final sliver of strength to that solitary figure.

What pained her heart the most was that, for some reason, she saw a youth among those three figures who looked just like him. The moment he sacrificed himself, her chest felt a sharp, intense pain.

Yun Xi clutched her chest. If what the Willow Deity said was true, then that youth in the images who looked so much like Shi Hao was her future son. Thinking of this, the pain in her chest grew even more intense.

The corners of her eyes involuntarily grew moist.

Seeing her clutching her chest with a look of sorrow, the Willow Deity couldn’t help but show surprise.

”What did you see?” The Willow Deity hadn’t expected Yun Xi to react this way.

”Let me see exactly what you saw.” The Willow Deity placed her hand on Yun Xi’s forehead. Instantly, she saw the scene of Shi Hao fighting four Quasi-Immortal Emperors alone, followed by the scenes of Shi Hao’s younger brother, Shi Yi, and Shi Hao’s child sacrificing themselves to help Shi Hao defeat the four Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

”Who is it?” Suddenly, at the moment the Willow Deity was watching, a figure looked toward her.

The Willow Deity likewise looked toward her.

”The Ruthless Great Emperor?” The moment the Willow Deity saw her, she knew her true name and that she came from the future, appearing here to help Shi Hao intercept Quasi-Immortal Emperors from the future who intended to target him.

And beside her, there were two other Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

”I am the Willow Deity; we shall meet again.” At this moment, the Willow Deity was only an Immortal King Giant and had not yet stepped into the Quasi-Immortal Emperor Domain.

Therefore, to avoid causing any interference, she simply said a word to the Ruthless Great Emperor before withdrawing from Yun Xi’s memory fragments.

”I see... Is that why you unconsciously showed such sadness?” The Willow Deity looked at Yun Xi and gently pulled her into her arms to comfort her... The next morning.

Shi Hao arrived outside the Willow Deity’s room early.

”Come in.” The Willow Deity’s voice rang out, and only then did Shi Hao push the door open and enter.

After Shi Hao entered, his gaze fell upon Yun Xi sitting beside the Willow Deity. However, Yun Xi’s face was very haggard at the moment, and she looked as though she had been crying.

This left Shi Hao puzzled. He then looked toward the Willow Deity.

The Willow Deity simply shook her head, then stood up and said, ”Talk to her yourself; I’ll step out first.” The Willow Deity did not disturb Shi Hao and Yun Xi.

Watching the Willow Deity leave, Shi Hao walked over to the bed and sat down, looking at Yun Xi beside him. ”What’s wrong?”

Shi Hao was very bad at dealing with girls who cried, let alone Yun Xi.

”Our child died. Why didn’t you tell me?” Yun Xi cried as she looked at Shi Hao and questioned him.

Hearing Yun Xi’s accusation, Shi Hao was stunned, but he soon understood.

”Is that so... You saw it.” Shi Hao hadn’t expected Yun Xi to see the images of his great battle with the four Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

He also realized she had seen the scene where their child sacrificed himself.

”Sigh, how could I have dared to tell you back then...” Shi Hao couldn’t help but sigh.

In the original story, how could Shi Hao have dared to tell Yun Xi? He already owed her so much, and then even their child sacrificed himself because of him; just thinking about it was despairing.

Now that he had transmigrated here, perhaps it was to make up for all of this. Since everything had not yet happened, he could still save and change things.

Moreover, as long as he became strong enough, even those who had died could be resurrected.

Therefore, he didn’t feel that much of a burden, but Yun Xi didn’t know that right now.

Looking at the weeping Yun Xi, Shi Hao could only pull her into his arms and comfort her.

He told her that he had come back specifically to change that kind of ending.

He told Yun Xi not to worry, that their future child would definitely not sacrifice himself like what she had seen.

Hearing Shi Hao’s promise, Yun Xi’s crying slowly began to stop.

Seeing her calm down, Shi Hao wiped away her tears and said, ”This time I’ve come back just to make it up to you all, so believe in me.” Shi Hao held Yun Xi tightly in his arms.

Yun Xi looked up at Shi Hao: ”Really?”

”Of course it’s true,” Shi Hao said with a smile. Then, looking at Yun Xi’s face which was messy like a little kitten from crying, he leaned in and kissed her.

Yun Xi was startled by Shi Hao’s sudden kiss, but she quickly reacted.

She gave Shi Hao a symbolic push, but soon she proactively hugged him back.

”Wow, they’re kissing. The next step is coming soon.”

”Yun Xi really was angry that Shi Hao hid the matter about her son.”

”If it were me, I’d be angry too.”

The Witch, Qing Yi, and Yue Chan were all huddled by the door, peering through the crack and offering their various opinions on the two inside.

”What are you few doing?” The Willow Deity had gone out for a bit and returned to see the three girls peeking at Shi Hao and Yun Xi outside her door.

”Since you want to watch so much, go inside and watch your fill.” After saying that, she pushed the door open and pulled them all inside.

”Wait... Willow Deity, please no!” The Witch cried out, begging for mercy.

Yue Chan and Qing Yi also hurriedly explained that they were just passing by.

Unfortunately, the Willow Deity didn’t listen to their explanations. Since they were already here, they might as well join in.

It just so happened that the Vermilion Bird wasn’t here, so she would let them help out.

On the other side, the Vermilion Bird, who was leading the three girls Red Phoenix, Blue Rain, and Zi Yan, suddenly sneezed.

”Who is thinking about me?” The Vermilion Bird felt like someone was badmouthing her, but she had no evidence.

”Alright, you’ve all become familiar with this place. Next, I’ll take you to meet Lord Willow Deity.” After the Vermilion Bird finished speaking, she led Red Phoenix, Blue Rain, and Zi Yan toward the Willow Deity’s room.

Very quickly, they arrived, and she led Red Phoenix, Blue Rain, and Zi Yan through the door.
