Covering the Sky: Many Sons and Many Blessings Begin with Yan Ruyu

118: Section 118”It seems you understand. Coming two years late might not be a bad thing. If you had come when you were sixteen, you might not have been as decisive as you are now.”

”At that time, I estimate I would have had to use force, but now, your willingness is naturally the best outcome.”

”Senior, if I agree to go with you, what about my parents?” Fire Linger was worried that if she left, she wouldn’t be able to return.

”What about them? What aspect are you referring to?” Su Ye didn’t understand what Fire Linger meant.

Then, after Fire Linger’s explanation, Su Ye smiled and burst into laughter.

”Cough cough, you don’t need to worry about this. My home is in the Lower Realm, specifically in the Cang Mang Mountain Range. If you want to come back, you can do so anytime.”

”With your current strength, the distance from the Cang Mang Mountain Range to your Fire Country is at most a half-hour journey. You don’t need to worry about not seeing your parents.”

”Furthermore, I’m not someone who would restrict you. I’m taking you back simply because I want you to bear children for me.”

”Of course, if you want to conceive and raise children in the palace, in your Fire Country, that’s not impossible either.”

”It just means I’ll have to make two extra trips every day. So, do you want to come back with me to give birth?”

”Or give birth at home?” Su Ye gave her two choices.

”Huh? Wait... what are you talking about! You said we would get married! How did it suddenly jump to having children!” Fire Linger was an unmarried young woman.

Hearing about having children so suddenly made her face blush even more.

”Isn’t having children what you do after getting married? Why would I marry you if not to have children?”

”Hurry up and choose, my time is very precious. I still have a wife waiting for me at home.”

Listening to Su Ye’s words, Fire Linger couldn’t help but widen her eyes.

”You... you have a wife, and yet you still came to find me? How can you be like this?”

”Why can’t I? I’m so handsome and powerful, isn’t it normal to find more girls to bear children for me? Didn’t your Father also marry multiple women?”

Su Ye said with a smile, ”Or are you jealous? Jealous that I already have other women?”

”Bah! Shameless, who’s jealous?” Fire Linger pouted and glared at Su Ye.

”Also, you’re really conceited enough,” Fire Linger looked at Su Ye and muttered softly.

”What’s conceited? Look at your future Husband, me, so handsome and charming. This is called confidence.”

”Your Husband, I, am not even twenty-three years old, and my strength is already in the Divine Flame Realm. Marrying you, a woman who isn’t even in the Divine Flame Realm.”

”This is you gaining something. You’re still slandering your Husband like this, which is not kind.”

Hearing Su Ye’s reply, Fire Linger couldn’t help but be stunned.

”Twenty-three years old? You’re lying, right!” Hearing Su Ye say he was only twenty-three and already in the Divine Flame Realm greatly shocked Fire Linger.

She suspected Su Ye was lying.

”Six years ago you looked like this, and now six years have passed, and you still look like this. You’re telling me you’re only twenty-three?”

Fire Linger stared at Su Ye in disbelief.

”My time is fixed at twenty-three years old. After you become my wife, I’ll tell you why.”

Su Ye took a few steps closer to Fire Linger. ”Now, let’s talk about having children, shall we? Do you want to come back with me to the Wilderness Mountain to give birth?”

”Or give birth at your home? My time is precious, make a decision quickly.”

”If you don’t answer, I’m taking you back. I’ll take it as you implicitly agreeing to come back with me.”

After speaking, Su Ye stepped forward and picked up the blushing and shy Fire Linger in his arms.

”Wait... I... I’d rather be at my home,” Fire Linger finally couldn’t bear to leave her parents.

Hearing Fire Linger’s choice, Su Ye secretly thought it was a pity. ”Alright, then let’s have our bridal chamber.”

Su Ye’s words shocked Fire Linger once again.

No, why is your mind full of just making me have children!

”Where is your boudoir?” Su Ye asked the beauty in his arms.

”...” Fire Linger didn’t want to say anything, she just extended her jade-like finger and pointed behind her.

After she indicated the direction, Su Ye carried her back to her boudoir.

Fire Linger’s mood was very complex at this moment, but thinking about the impact of becoming Su Ye’s woman.

In the end, she also closed her eyes with a red face and buried her head in Su Ye’s arms.

If she couldn’t resist, then she would comply.

Chapter 148: Xia Youyu: Sorry to bother, I came at the wrong time

Fire Country.

Imperial Palace Reception Hall.

After the Fire Emperor left his daughter’s back garden, he came to the main hall to prepare to receive a guest.

He didn’t wait long before the servants brought in a few guests.

”Greetings, Fire Emperor, sorry to bother again,” a woman in white said with a smile. The woman had shoulder-length hair, skin as white and delicate as mutton-fat jade, with a crystal-like luster, a melon-seed face, long eyelashes, eyes as clear as crystal, bright red lips, and neat, white teeth like pearls.

”Not at all, not at all. It is my honor for Miss Youyu to visit my Fire Country. Please be seated, everyone,” the Fire Emperor instructed the servants to prepare seats.

”Thank you. You know the purpose of my visit this time, so I won’t say anything more,” Xia Youyu chuckled, her eyes flowing, her eyelashes fluttering, her fair face white and crystal clear, shimmering with a moving luster.

Xia Youyu used her hand to smooth her dark and glossy hair. Her fair face, crystal-clear ears like an elf’s, and watery big eyes made her look ethereal and moving. A flash of light appeared in her palm, revealing an artifact that was neither gold nor stone, engraved with intricate patterns.

”This time, you shouldn’t be able to refuse, right? Fire Linger, she is also eighteen this year, and has long reached the age to enter the Deer Chase Academy.”

”Fire Emperor, you also know that the Deer Chase Academy, named after the pursuit of heroes, specifically recruits geniuses from this vast land and guides them in their cultivation. And Butian Pavilion, Divine King Hall, etc., are on par with it.”

An Old Woman beside her saw her young lady take out the talisman, and couldn’t help but say to the Fire Emperor, ”Holding such a talisman to enter Butian Pavilion means a meteoric rise in status. Various precious medicines, rune secret methods, etc., will be prioritized. This kind of talisman is priceless!”

”Our Butian Pavilion has shown great sincerity. Presumably, Fire Emperor, this time, you have no reason to prevent that princess from entering the Deer Chase Academy, right?”

Listening to the two of them pressuring him, the Fire Emperor couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat.

These guys, they are constantly thinking about his precious daughter.

Letting her enter the Deer Chase Academy, isn’t it just to inquire about that Senior from Ling’er?

He had been delaying for six years, and today the other side directly revealed the talisman, making it clear.

This left him not knowing how to respond.

”Fire Emperor won’t refuse again, will you?” Xia Youyu said with a hint of resentment, ”You have refused our Butian Pavilion a full six times. Refusing again would be unreasonable, wouldn’t it?”

Xia Youyu’s tone made the Fire Emperor quickly smile and say, ”Not at all, not at all, but I can’t make the decision on this matter. How about this, Miss Xia Youyu, you personally go and talk to my daughter.”

”If she is willing to go to the Deer Chase Academy, I, as her Father, will not refuse you taking her away. How does that sound?”

The Fire Emperor could only delay now and give the initiative to Fire Linger.

Hearing the Fire Emperor’s words, Xia Youyu chuckled, ”No problem, I also want to meet Her Royal Highness the Princess. Then, please lead the way.”

Seeing this, the Fire Emperor could only lead the way with a smiling face.

In his heart, he prayed that Ling’er wouldn’t have any problems.

Before that Senior arrived, Fire Linger couldn’t expose her strength. It was fine in the palace.

If she went to the Deer Chase Academy, Fire Linger would definitely not be able to hide her uniqueness.

At that time, those Holy Lands would definitely target Fire Linger.

So, later, he had to give Fire Linger a hint. He hoped she would understand.

Soon, the Fire Emperor led Xia Youyu and the two Old Woman to the outside of Fire Linger’s back garden.

Just as he pushed the door to enter.

A force bounced him back.

Fortunately, that force had no ill intentions.

”What is this?” Xia Youyu looked at the Fire Emperor who was sent flying back, and became even more certain that the Fire Emperor’s daughter had a problem.

”Accident, accident. It was my oversight. I forgot my daughter was cultivating, and she doesn’t like to be disturbed when she cultivates.”

”So I asked the Old Ancestors at home to set up a barrier. Look at my memory,” the Fire Emperor returned and explained with a smile.

Then he shouted towards the very large back garden, ”Ling’er, Miss Xia Youyu from Butian Pavilion is here to see you. Xia Youyu wants to talk to you about entering the Deer Chase Academy.”

”If it’s convenient, please open the door and let us in.” The Fire Emperor’s shout made Xia Youyu not know how to respond.

Even the two Old Woman couldn’t help but want to scold him.

This was definitely a secret communication, and he was directly telling her the purpose of their visit.

Neither this Father nor daughter was easy to deal with.

Hearing the Fire Emperor’s shout, the barrier dispersed.

”Miss Xia Youyu, please come in. Father and the others don’t need to come in. It’s not convenient for me to entertain guests at the moment,” Fire Linger’s voice sounded.

Hearing Fire Linger’s reply, the Fire Emperor heard that his daughter’s tone was a bit off.

However, he couldn’t continue to inquire now.

Then he looked at Xia Youyu and said, ”Since my daughter agrees to talk with Miss Xia Youyu, please go in and negotiate with my daughter.”

”The two of you can return to the main hall with me to drink tea and wait for them. What do the two of you think?” The Fire Emperor looked at the two Old Woman.

The two Old Woman looked at their young lady and received a nod in response.

The two nodded and said, ”Okay, then, Miss, we will wait for you. Please be sure to complete the task.” After speaking, they left with the Fire Emperor.

And Xia Youyu also pushed the door and entered Fire Linger’s back garden.

As soon as she entered, Xia Youyu saw the blooming flowers, and a floral fragrance instantly assailed her.

”I didn’t expect this princess to like flowers so much,” looking at the flowers planted on both sides, Xia Youyu walked along the path towards the courtyard.

Soon, she arrived at Fire Linger’s courtyard.

”May I ask where Her Royal Highness Princess Fire Linger is?” Looking at the many rooms in the courtyard, and not seeing Fire Linger outside, Xia Youyu could only ask.

”I... I’m here,” Fire Linger replied to Xia Youyu with a somewhat weak voice.
