Covering the Sky: Many Sons and Many Blessings Begin with Yan Ruyu

96: Section 96Su Ye stayed in the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land for almost three days before finally being forcefully pushed out of the Devouring Magic Jar by the Ruthless Great Emperor.

Watching the Han Red Great Emperor shut herself in again, Su Ye rubbed his nose and then bid farewell to her.

The child would not be born for another three months, so Su Ye did not linger in the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land.

Many others were still waiting for him.

Su Ye summoned the Void Mirror and, with its help, left the Desolate Ancient Forbidden Land.

After returning to the Jade Pool Holy Land, Su Ye spent his days accompanying the women, focusing particularly on An Miaoyi and the Divine Silkworm Princess.

They had not yet succumbed to him, so he had to keep working at it.

To deal with disobedient women, Su Ye would crush their pride as women, and with the addition of children, they would ultimately fall into his hands, unable to leave him for the rest of their lives.

An Miaoyi was his primary focus, as this woman was too enchanting.

Every time, Su Ye found himself reluctant to leave.

The Divine Silkworm Princess, on the other hand, was excessively cold and reserved.

This type of woman required long-term nurturing. Once she fell into debauchery, she would never escape his grasp.

An Miaoyi, however, already showed signs of succumbing.

Therefore, Su Ye focused his efforts on An Miaoyi, spending several hours with her every day.

Each time, he could hear An Miaoyi cursing and complaining.

With so many women available, he insisted on tormenting her—what a despicable man.

Whenever she resisted, she was met with Su Ye’s intensified ’education.’

This made An Miaoyi deeply resentful, and she resisted Su Ye time and again.

Even when she couldn’t go on, she would never admit defeat. Her body might lose, but her heart would never surrender.

The other women watched the interactions between Su Ye and An Miaoyi like spectators enjoying a show.

Some even started betting on how long it would take for An Miaoyi to completely fall into Su Ye’s embrace.

This infuriated An Miaoyi, who was angered by their behavior.

On this day, Su Ye came to find An Miaoyi again.

As soon as he entered An Miaoyi’s courtyard, he saw her holding a child in her arms. The child looked very young, not yet old enough to walk on its own, and remained swaddled in her embrace.

An Miaoyi was wearing a blue-and-white strapless gown with a V-neckline.

Her long hair was tied up in a bun at the back, with side-swept bangs framing her fair face, which bore no makeup. Her lips were slightly pale, and she cradled the child in her arms.

Perhaps due to being three months pregnant, her already ample chest was preparing for the baby’s arrival, storing breast milk and filling out the V-neck gown with a striking curve.

Despite having no adornments or embellishments, simply holding the child, she exuded a unique charm—graceful, elegant, and bearing the aura of a wife and mother.

Su Ye’s arrival caught An Miaoyi’s attention. When she saw him,

a look of disdain appeared on her face as she tightened her hold on the child and said, ’I have to help take care of the child today. Go find someone else.’

Su Ye shook his head at An Miaoyi’s words.

’No, this child is Yao Xi’s. Don’t think you can fool me with Yao Xi’s child. That trick won’t work.’

’Someone else already tried this earlier, and I foolishly believed it. I won’t fall for it again.’

’Goddess Furnace!’ Su Ye called out, and the Goddess Furnace, dressed in a short skirt and blouse, appeared behind him.

’What is it, Master? I was sleeping,’ the Goddess Furnace said, looking drowsy and yawning.

’Take the child from Miaoyi’s arms back to Yao Xi,’ Su Ye pointed to the child in An Miaoyi’s arms.

’Oh,’ the Goddess Furnace nodded, then appeared before An Miaoyi. Before An Miaoyi could react, the child was taken from her arms.

’You... you shameless man!’ An Miaoyi blushed with anger, glaring at Su Ye before turning to run.

’Don’t even think about running, my love!’ Su Ye watched An Miaoyi flee and chased after her.

’Shameless! Who’s your love? You shameless scoundrel!’ An Miaoyi cursed as she ran.

Su Ye chased after her, not catching up immediately but playfully following her.

Watching her master’s joyful expression, the Goddess Furnace took the child and returned to the palace.

She then went to Yao Xi’s room.

’Yao Xi, your child,’ she said, handing the child back to Yao Xi.

’Thanks,’ Yao Xi replied lazily, lying on the bed with a maternal grace, her four-year-old daughter clinging to her and suckling.

Yao Xi placed her younger daughter in her arms and gently patted her older daughter, signaling her to make room for her sister.

The older daughter obediently shifted, and soon the younger sister was also suckling at her mother’s breast.

’Yao Ji is so big already and still hasn’t been weaned. Be careful, or the other sisters will tease her,’ the Goddess Furnace remarked, looking at Yao Xi’s older daughter, Yao Ji, who was four years old and still nursing.

’Hmph, let them say whatever they want,’ Yao Ji looked up at the Goddess Furnace, clearly unfazed.

’It’s fine, drink up. Don’t worry about what others say,’ Yao Xi patted Yao Ji’s head to comfort her.

Then, turning to the Goddess Furnace, she said, ’Yao Ji is still a child. Don’t set the bar too high. If she likes it, let her drink.’ Yao Xi clearly didn’t mind whether her daughter was weaned or not.

’Has Su Ye gone to bully Miaoyi again?’

’Yes, aside from bullying that newcomer, what else would Master be up to? Alright, I’m going back to feed my child too,’ the Goddess Furnace bid farewell to Yao Xi and returned to her room.

Watching the Goddess Furnace leave, Yao Xi smiled and looked at Yao Ji in her arms. ’Drink up, have plenty,’ she said, holding both her older and younger daughters in her arms.

Meanwhile,

after chasing An Miaoyi for a while, Su Ye watched as she stopped, her face flushed and panting. He couldn’t help but smile and said, ’Keep running! Why did you stop? If you’re not running, it’s my turn now.’

With that, he approached the now powerless An Miaoyi, picked her up in a princess carry, and took her back to her boudoir.

Today was another day of defeat for An Miaoyi.

Chapter 122: Huo Liner: Father, Do You Want Me to Become a Widow?

Fire Kirin Cave.

’Liner, tell your father who this child’s father is! I’m going to kill him!’ a fierce-looking middle-aged man said angrily.

’Liner, tell your brother where he is!’ a handsome young man with horns on his head chimed in.

Listening to her brother and father’s questions,

Huo Liner sighed helplessly and said, ’If I tell you, do you want me to become a widow? Do you want my daughter to grow up without a father?’

’Let’s not even talk about that. Even if I told you, you’re no match for Su Ye. You’d only embarrass yourselves,’ Huo Liner said disdainfully, looking at her brother and father.

This was one of many times they had questioned her since she returned home.

Huo Liner held her daughter in her arms and gently soothed her.

’If you’re so eager to find Su Ye, come with me to see him. I’ve been back long enough; it’s time to return.’

’Besides, I’ll have Su Ye give you and Brother the betrothal gifts to help improve your strength.’

As she spoke, Huo Liner wrapped her daughter in a cloth and tied her to her chest.

This way, her hands were free to move.

After finishing, Huo Liner looked at her brother and father. ’Let’s go. I’ve already arranged for someone to pick us up.’

As soon as Huo Liner finished speaking, a tremendous roar echoed from outside the Fire Kirin Cave.

The entire Fire Kirin Cave trembled.

Even the Kirin Emperor was shocked.

’Great Power!’ The Kirin Emperor was the first to appear outside the Fire Kirin Cave.

Outside, many Elders emerged one after another.

They looked up at the eight thousand-zhang-long flood dragons in the sky, their faces filled with astonishment.

The Kirin Emperor wore an extremely serious expression. The eight Great Power flood dragons showed faint signs of transforming into dragons.

’May I ask why you have come to the Fire Kirin Cave?’ the Kirin Emperor stepped forward and inquired.

’We’re here to pick up Aunt Liner!’ Suddenly, several little figures appeared on the backs of the flood dragons.

As they appeared, the eight thousand-zhang flood dragons shrank to about ten meters in length.

They slowly descended toward the Fire Kirin Cave.

Yao Yao and Yao Ji jumped down from the heads of their flood dragon pets.

The other sisters remained on the backs of their pets.

Yao Yao and Yao Ji had grown to about five feet tall, dressed in white dresses with decorative accessories in their hair.

They wore white jade bracelets on their wrists. After landing, they walked toward the Kirin Emperor.

’Are you Aunt Liner’s family? I sense the same aura from you as I do from her,’

Yao Yao asked the Kirin Emperor first.

The Kirin Emperor was surprised that they recognized him as Huo Liner’s father.

However, what caught his attention was that they referred to Huo Liner as ’Aunt Liner,’ which made him frown.

’Who are you?’ Huo Linzi asked from the side. He had just emerged and witnessed the scene.

’Us? Hello, I’m Yao Yao, and this is my sister Yao Ji. We’re here to pick up Aunt Liner.’

’I’m here, I’m here!’ At that moment, Huo Liner appeared.

Seeing Yao Yao and Yao Ji, Huo Liner greeted them. ’Just the two of you?’

’Yes,’ Yao Yao and Yao Ji replied in unison. ’The other sisters went to pick up Aunt Phoenix and Aunt Zixia.’

’I see. Alright then. By the way, I want to bring my father and brother to meet Su Ye and have Father accept the betrothal gifts.’

Hearing Huo Liner’s words, Yao Yao nodded. ’Alright, just your father and brother?’

’Yes, just the two of them. Bringing more wouldn’t be appropriate,’ Huo Liner didn’t want to bring too many people back.
