Thunderstorm Asthma? I’ll Just Drain the National Power Grid!

165: Since we’re good brothers, we’ll share the slaps. The Black Shark Gang headquarters was not the tall building one might imagine, but a fortress converted from an abandoned shipyard.

Several heavy machine guns were set up high, their muzzles slowly tracking the vehicle as it drove in.

Iron Head jumped out of the car, ignoring the rain on his face, and quickly ran over to open the car door for Lin Yuan.

”Big Brother, we’re here.”

Iron Head was all smiles, his waist bent at ninety degrees.

Lin Yuan stepped out of the car, stepping into a puddle.

Dirty water splashed onto his pair of flip-flops.

”Tsk.”

Lin Yuan glanced down, his brow slightly furrowed.

Iron Head’s heart skipped a beat. Just as he was about to speak, he saw Lin Yuan casually wipe his foot on the trouser leg of a nearby subordinate.

”They didn’t even lay out a red carpet here. Bad review.”

Lin Yuan adjusted his collar and swaggered inside, with Su Wanqing following closely behind him.

Stepping through the entrance, a smell of tobacco and alcohol rushed over them.

Inside was a massive space, with deafening heavy metal music.

In the center of the dance floor, a group of scantily clad men and women were gyrating wildly.

In the booths on both sides, Gang members played finger-guessing games and challenged each other to drink, while some were arm-wrestling on a table. The loser had a finger chopped off, drawing cheers from the surrounding crowd.

Chaos.

Brutality.

This was the Law of survival in the Nine Rings Archipelago.

”Big Brother, this way please. The Gang Leader is in the top-floor conference room.”

Iron Head cleared the way, pushing aside a few drunken men who blocked their path.

The group crossed the dance floor, preparing to head upstairs.

”Stop.”

A frivolous voice drifted over from the side.

Several young men with brightly colored hair and covered in strange accessories staggered over and blocked their path.

The leader was wearing a studded leather jacket, had smoky makeup on his face, and was hugging two scantily clad women.

He held a half-empty bottle of whiskey, his drunken eyes hazily sizing up Lin Yuan and his group.

Finally, his gaze settled on Su Wanqing.

”Oh, this chick... nice body.”

The studded youth burped, let go of the women in his arms, and staggered forward.

He reached out, trying to pull back Su Wanqing’s hood.

”Why cover up so tightly? Are you afraid of being seen? Come on, give this Young Master a smile...”

When Iron Head saw who it was, his face turned pale.

”Young... Young Gang Leader!”

He rushed forward, trying to block the way.

”Get lost!”

The Young Gang Leader kicked Iron Head in the stomach, sending him stumbling.

”You dare block a woman I have my eyes on?”

The Young Gang Leader cursed under his breath, reaching out to touch Su Wanqing’s face.

”Slap!”

A crisp sound.

It even drowned out the music.

The Young Gang Leader was completely slapped away.

He spun seven hundred and twenty degrees in the air, carrying a string of bloody teeth, and smashed into a liquor cabinet nearby.

Crash—!

Hundreds of bottles of fine wine shattered; the liquid, mixed with glass shards, drenched him completely.

The music abruptly stopped.

The entire hall fell silent.

Everyone widened their eyes, staring at the youth in the floral shirt standing in place.

Lin Yuan maintained the posture of having just slapped someone, wiping his hand on his clothes with a look of disgust.

”Where did this fly come from? Buzzing, buzzing, it’s annoying me to death.”

He didn’t even glance at the Young Gang Leader, turning instead to look at the stunned Iron Head beside him.

”Your security measures here are terrible. How can just any stray cat or dog be let in?”

Iron Head’s mouth was wide open, his jaw nearly dislocated.

That was the Young Gang Leader!

He was the Gang Leader’s only heir, usually cherished and protected like a fragile treasure!

And you just slapped him away like that?!

”Bastard! How dare you hit Young Shark?!”

The few rich wastrels following the Young Gang Leader finally reacted.

They were used to throwing their weight around; how could they have ever seen a scene like this?

Fueled by alcohol, the group roared, pulled out folding knives and brass knuckles, and lunged toward Lin Yuan.

”Kill him!”

”He’s tired of living, daring to cause trouble in the Black Shark Gang!”

Lin Yuan sighed.

”I talked about him, not you, right?”

He shifted his feet, advancing instead of retreating.

”Slap!”

The red-haired guy charging at the front had his cheek collapse; he was sent flying and ended up draped over the second-floor railing.

”Slap!”

The green-haired guy on the left hadn’t even had time to swing his knife before a huge force slapped him sideways, causing him to spin more than ten times before collapsing on the ground, foaming at the mouth.

”Slap! Slap!”

The last two who tried to sneak attack felt the world spin, and then they piled up on top of the red-haired guy.

In less than three seconds.

The rich wastrel squad, which had been full of fierce Aura just moments ago, was completely wiped out.

Lin Yuan stood in place; even his large gold chain hadn’t swayed.

”Too weak.”

Lin Yuan shook his head, looking disappointed.

”Not a single one could withstand a single slap. The physical fitness of young people these days is worrying.”

At this moment.

The Young Gang Leader, who had been smashed into the liquor cabinet, finally recovered.

His face covered in blood, he crawled out of the pile of glass shards.

Half of his face was swollen high, and he couldn’t even speak clearly.

”You... you dare hit me?”

The Young Gang Leader covered his face, his eyes filled with disbelief.

”I am the Young Gang Leader of the Black Shark Gang! My dad is...”

Whoosh—

A gust of wind.

Lin Yuan appeared in front of him.

He squatted down.

Meeting his gaze.

”Slap!”

Another backhand slap.

The Young Gang Leader had only managed to crawl halfway up before he was slapped back into the pile of glass.

”So what if I hit you?”

Lin Yuan tilted his head, looking curious.

”Is there some Law that says I can’t hit you? Or does your face have thorns that might prick my hand?”

”Ah—!!!”

The Young Gang Leader let out a miserable scream.

”I’m going to kill you! I’m going to tear you into ten thousand pieces! I’m going to...”

”Slap!”

Lin Yuan didn’t wait for him to finish, hitting him with another slap.

The force of this slap was controlled perfectly.

It wouldn’t kill the person, but it would let him experience the utmost pain.

”Is there a problem?”

Lin Yuan asked while slapping.

”Slap!”

”Your voice is too quiet, I can’t hear you.”

”Slap!”

”Where was that hand trying to touch just now?”

”Slap!”

”Speak up, are you mute?”

Every question was followed by a slap.

The once noisy hall was now left only with the rhythmic sound of ”slap, slap.”

The fierce-looking Gang members around them were all silent, not daring to even breathe loudly.

After slapping him more than ten times consecutively.

The Young Gang Leader’s previously hazy, drunken eyes became clear.

He huddled in the corner, trembling, his hands covering his head, no longer daring to utter threats.

”Stop... stop hitting me...”

The Young Gang Leader begged for mercy in a crying, slurred voice.

”I was wrong... Big Brother... Grandpa... please stop hitting me...”

Lin Yuan stopped.

He shook his wrist.

”If you had been so sensible earlier, wouldn’t that have been the end of it? You had to make me waste my energy.”

He stood up and looked around.

His gaze fell on the few rich wastrels who had just gotten up and were trying to sneak away.

”Stop.”

Two simple words.

The wastrels froze in place, unable to move.

”Come here.”

Lin Yuan crooked his finger.

The men looked at each other, their legs trembling, but none dared to run.

The shadow of that slap still hung over their minds.

They shuffled their feet, creeping up to Lin Yuan, their heads bowed.

”You guys seem to have a lot of energy.”

Lin Yuan pointed at the Young Gang Leader huddled in the corner.

”Since you’re good brothers, you should share the fortune and share the trouble.”

”Go, help me continue slapping him.”

”Make sure the slaps are loud, thorough, and truly show your brotherhood.”

The wastrels were dumbfounded.

Make them slap the Young Gang Leader?

How would they ever survive in the Black Shark Gang after this?

”What? Not willing?”

The smile vanished from Lin Yuan’s face.

He walked up to the red-haired guy.

The red-haired guy shivered and tried to explain: ”B-Big Brother, he is...”

Bang!

Lin Yuan pressed down on the red-haired guy’s head.

The red-haired guy’s head was pressed directly into the ground, leaving only half his body twitching outside.

”If your hands don’t obey orders, then keeping your head isn’t much use either.”

Lin Yuan clapped the dust off his hands and looked at the remaining men.

”Who’s next?”

Thud!

The remaining three wastrels immediately knelt down.

They scrambled and crawled over to the Young Gang Leader.

”Young Shark... I’m sorry!”

”Slap!”

”Slap! Slap!”

”Harder! Didn’t you eat?!” Lin Yuan acted as the supervisor nearby.

”Yes, yes, yes!”

Gritting their teeth and closing their eyes, the men swung their arms and hammered the face of their former boss.

For a moment, the sound of slaps rose and fell, creating quite a lively scene.

Iron Head stood to the side, cold sweat having already soaked through his back.

A lunatic.

On the Black Shark Gang’s territory, he was forcing Black Shark Gang members to hit the Young Gang Leader of the Black Shark Gang!

This was practically stripping the Black Shark Gang of its face and grinding it into the dirt!

”That’s enough.”

About two minutes passed.

The Young Gang Leader’s face was so swollen it was unrecognizable; even his biological mother would need a DNA test.

Lin Yuan called a stop.

He walked up to the Young Gang Leader and nudged him with his toe.

”Can you still talk?”

The Young Gang Leader struggled to open a slit of an eye, emitting muffled whimpers from his mouth.

”My... my dad... is the Gang Leader...”

Even at this point, he still brought up his lifeline.

This was an instinct carved into his bones over twenty years.

Lin Yuan smiled.

”I know your dad is the Gang Leader.”

”Slap!”

This slap landed directly on the back of the Young Gang Leader’s head.

Clean and swift.

Physical hypnosis.

The Young Gang Leader rolled his eyes and passed out.

”So much nonsense.”

Lin Yuan straightened up and glanced at the dumbfounded Iron Head beside him.

”What are you staring at?”

Lin Yuan pointed at the ”pile of rotten meat” on the ground, and then pointed at the three wastrels whose faces were swollen like pig heads.

”Have them carry him.”

”Let’s go meet that ’esteemed’ Gang Leader right now.”
