Chapter 1265: Chapter 1259: Being Strict with Jingtao_1 Chapter 1265: Chapter 1259: Being Strict with Jingtao_1 “”Taotao, we’ve eaten, so you won’t have anything to eat now.” Qin Xue asked Jingtao.

“There is, aunt gave it to me.” Jingtao went over to the table and hugged another one over.

“Haha, I was wondering why you let us eat so politely, turns out you have more huh.” Qin Xue looked at Jingtao with a bit of amusement.

And the others were also amused by Jingtao. This kid was truly hilarious.

“Aunt said, eat slowly.” Jingtao couldn’t care less about their jokes.

“Alright, then you save it to eat slowly. What else did your aunt say to you?” Qin Xue squatted in front of him and asked.

“Be good.” Jingtao nodded, his aunt had said something like that, although he wasn’t entirely sure.

“Taotao, you’re really well-behaved, no wonder your aunt likes you so much. Isn’t that right?” Chu Xiaoqiao came out of the kitchen and added.

“Hmm.” Jingtao also felt that it was because he was obedient and well-behaved that his aunt was so good to him.

“Jingtao, have you finished your tasks for today?” Chu Molin has been watching them chat and didn’t want to interrupt them, but if the kids’ chores weren’t finished, they might procrastinate and become less proactive. Therefore, it was always important to ensure the kids finish their duties first before playing.

“Uncle, nope.” Jingtao looked at Chu Molin with a bit of fear. He hadn’t finished his tasks and had started playing here. Would he get scolded?

“What should you be doing now?” Chu Molin asked him, toppling any hint of expression from his face.

“Homework.” Jingtao’s task today was to do a jigsaw puzzle with Yu Ze.

He had almost finished it, but Xiao Qi had disrupted him later, so he hadn’t continued. Now that Uncle was angry, what should he do?

Jingtao didn’t procrastinate any longer. Instead, he put down the apple and went to start the jigsaw puzzle with Yu Ze.

“Chu Molin, aren’t you being a bit too strict with him?” Qin Xue looked at the somewhat terrified Jingtao.

“Not being strict with him would harm him, especially with a dad like Jing Xin who’s too nice.” Chu Molin said quietly to Qin Xue without letting Fang Xiu hear. He wasn’t the kind of person who likes to gossip about others. He just didn’t want Jingtao, such a smart kid, to inherit Jing Xin’s indecisiveness.

“You really are…” Qin Xue looked at Chu Molin speechlessly. Although she also felt that Jing Xin was inconsiderate in many things, she didn’t think he was as terrible as Chu Molin described.

“You think so too, don’t you? He can’t even protect his wife and kids. If the kid follows him, do you think he won’t learn from him?” The main reason Chu Molin was strict with Jingtao was that they were now living in his house. He taught his own son and taught Jingtao at the same time.

If either one of them is disobedient or an exception, it would affect the other children. So he had to treat them all the same.

“Alright, you win. You’re the boss.” Qin Xue couldn’t say anything else.

“Hmm. I’ll go check on them.” Chu Molin picked up a book and sat quietly next to the three children, watching them without disturbing their puzzle-making.

Seeing them, Qin Xue also went to work on her sketches. The more she drew, the better.

Fang Xiu was sewing clothes for the children whenever she had free time, which included making clothes for the Yu Ze brothers as well.

Right now, she could only do what was within her capability. While Xue Ling was put into the spatial room by Qin Xue using an excuse. It needed to enter the spatial room to replenish its spiritual energy from time to time and also wanted to cultivate some medicinal plants it needed.

Therefore, it went into the spatial room and would come out when it felt like it, letting Qin Xue take it out when necessary.
