Survival in the Underground Palace: Get the instant kill skill at the beginning

88: The disappeared scholar’s towerThe next morning.

Liu Yang began to check the various items he was carrying.

Besides his regular equipment, he also had many miscellaneous things he bought from the Auction House last night.

To ensure everything was foolproof, he bought a large pile, regardless of whether it was useful or not.

”Home, retract.”

Liu Yang stood on a tree branch and retracted his Home.

Then, he pulled out the ”Lost Scholar’s Tower Teleport Scroll” and chose to use it.

The teleportation scroll shattered, transforming into brilliant light that enveloped Liu Yang.

The light then began to rapidly shrink.

It continuously shrank until it disappeared.

Liu Yang felt nothing.

He only felt a flash of light, and when he opened his eyes again, he was in an unfamiliar place.

The sky was dim, with only a tiny bit of light.

After Liu Yang landed steadily, the first thing he did was look at the top right corner.

”Indeed!”

Liu Yang was excited, ecstatic.

In the top right corner, a familiar line of text appeared.

47:59:03.

If he only had 60% certainty before entering, then now he had 99.99% certainty.

This was the dungeon that drops skill book page.

Liu Yang then began to survey his surroundings.

Under his feet was a patch of withered yellow grass.

Behind him was a mottled wall.

The front was empty, with only a spire emerging from the ground.

The spire was only about half a story high, its body deeply buried underground.

Liu Yang jumped up, wanting to see the world beyond the wall.

But that wall, which was only a little over two meters high, rapidly rose as he jumped.

When Liu Yang landed, the wall also lowered.

”...”

”Damn it, they won’t even let me see what’s outside, so stingy.”

Although he was annoyed, with such an obvious obstruction, Liu Yang didn’t dare to be too reckless.

He walked towards the spire; that was his target this time.

Looking inside through the broken tower top, the light inside the tower was even darker than outside.

Liu Yang took out a Psionic Miner’s Headlamp from his inventory.

He saw it last night while browsing the Auction House and spent a full 2000 psionic points on it.

Ever since Liu Yang started it, psionic energy subtly began to replace currency.

2000 psionic points might be a huge sum for others.

But for Liu Yang, it was just the cost of 100 apples.

He put the miner’s headlamp on his head, turned on the switch, and looked inside again.

The scene inside the tower was clearly displayed before Liu Yang.

A few rows of bookshelves, a desk, a statue, and nothing else.

Liu Yang leaped in, his movements light and making no sound.

Click!

Click click!

Click click click!

”What’s that sound?”

Liu Yang immediately became alert and looked around.

When his gaze fell on the statue, he saw the statue’s outer skin crumbling and flaking off in pieces, revealing the secret inside to Liu Yang.

It was a mummy.

By the time Liu Yang clearly saw the mummy’s description, the mummy had already revealed most of itself.

At this moment, it was already baring its fangs and claws, howling ”Aoao” wildly, staring at Liu Yang, wanting to pounce on him.

Since that was the case, Liu Yang didn’t hesitate.

While the mummy had not yet broken free from the stone armor’s restraint, he directly swung his sword and slashed.

Crack!

”Hahahahaha, now I can be absolutely certain.”

Although 99.99% certainty was very high, there was still 0.01%, wasn’t there?

As the saying goes, better safe than sorry.

Now, it’s settled.

If there’s an upper level, there’s a lower level.

Liu Yang no longer hesitated and explored the entire floor.

Finally, behind a bookshelf, he found a book-shaped protrusion.

Liu Yang reached out and pressed it, his feet lost their footing, and his body fell downwards.

By the light, Liu Yang found that the layout here was identical to the upper level.

The only difference was the appearance of the statue.

Just like before, when Liu Yang landed, the ”click click” sound came again.

Liu Yang already had experience, so he immediately raised his sword in front of the statue and prepared to attack.

The petrified outer shell peeled off, revealing the mummy inside.

”Huh? The level changed?”

”But it’s only one level higher, no big deal.”

Saying that, Liu Yang aimed at the exposed part and slashed down.

The process was unexpectedly easy, making Liu Yang feel a slight sense of unreality.

But he was satisfied with the result.

The monsters were easy to defeat, and the drops were good, what else was there to think about?

Did he have to fight to the death, barely survive, and then finally kill the monster?

Liu Yang was not a masochist; he had no such hobbies.

Subsequently, without any surprise, he found the mechanism in the usual spot.

And so.

Liu Yang descended to the third level.

Then the fourth level... fifth level... sixth level... seventh level... all the way to the ninth level.

[You wounded the Sinner’s Forbidden Scholar II’s arm with one sword strike, Second Kill skill triggered, Sinner’s Forbidden Scholar II died.]

From the initial X to the current II, if there were no surprises, the next level down would be I.

The Second Kill skill leveling up more than ten times in a row made Liu Yang feel as if he were dreaming.

”Since I’m already here, I hope nothing unexpected happens on the next level, just let me pass safely.”

Moving aside the bookshelf, Liu Yang muttered softly.

Looking at the mechanism that was no different, Liu Yang took a deep breath.

Creak!

With a soft sound, the mechanism was pressed firmly into the wall by Liu Yang.

His feet suddenly lost their footing, and Liu Yang fell downwards.

He kept falling, kept falling.

Unlike before, the previous landing speed was very fast, no more than 3 seconds at most.

However, this time, half a minute passed, and Liu Yang was still falling.

And around him, there was nothing but darkness.

Liu Yang turned on his miner’s headlamp, and the bulb lit up, but it couldn’t illuminate a single ray of light.

It was as if the light was swallowed by something.

The bizarre scene made Liu Yang’s heart feel a little uneasy.

He kept falling like this.

After about three minutes, Liu Yang finally landed.
